They offer FREE SHIPPING on the Home page and there is nothing to add any services at checkout "inside delivery " etc...so we found out that they wanted to charge $95.00 to move fire place 4 feet into our font yard..anyway Customer service did not provide phone to ups freight,did not disclose charges and shipping is not free.
We have contacted Ill Att General office and will file claim with our credit card.Order placed on 10/28 today is 10/10 No fireplace yet ..shame on the company like this.NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM .THEY ARE BUNCH OF CROOKS.

B......E.....W......A........R........E!!!!!!!! I ordered an electric fireplace this month, thinking I was getting a great deal! I was told over the phone it would cost me $199 (Which I have recorded) I payed with "check by phone." A week later my bank called to let me know I had an overdraft of $249, which was taken out by FIREPLACES DIRECT! Plus overdraft charges added to that! I not only lost my money for my bills but also unable to do Christmas for my grandchildren! The only thing I was offered, was $25 from the company!
