DO NOT ORDER FROM RENT THE RUNWAY

I was delighted to discover Rent the Runway but less than delighted by the results when I chose to order a gown for a black tie event. Two days before the dress was supposed to be delivered, they emailed me to say that my preferred size was not available anymore. Excuse me, what?? I put in my order over a month ago to make sure that it WOULD be available and paid $200. They offered to send me another size instead and assured me that the dress runs true to size. Hello, that doesn't help, being as I ordered the dress IN MY SIZE so if it is true to size then THANK YOU for NOT sending my size... Ridiculous! Never order from Rent the Runway, they don't have their stuff together!

The dress was in terrible condition and could not be worn. The purse was nice, but I paid nearly 400 to use the purse for a weekend.

Great idea in concept! Unfortunately, the concept doesn't hold in practice. The dresses I ordered were both untrue to size, in less-than-ideal condition and poorly constructed. Plus, the "fit-kit," a selling point intended to help the customer troubleshoot small wardrobe problems, was not included as promised. Instead I received two cheap Cover Girl eyeshadows, neither of which even matched the shade of the dress. I was not able to wear either of my options, and, after returning the dresses within the designated 24 hours for a refund, was not credited my money until I spent several hours on the phone with the company. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

DO NOT USE RENT THE RUNWAY EVER!

I ordered my dream prom dress from rent the runway and they called to say it was 'damaged beyond repair LESS THAN 24 HOURS before it was supposed to arrive. Ruined prom. Never use this site! They tried to send me a different but there were vary few options considering it needed to arrive less than a day later. I ended up canceling my order and wearing a dress I already owned. I will never be using this store again, nothing but a terrible experience.

ONLY ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE PISSED

7/24/14 I was super excited to get the dress I rented from RENT THE RUNWAY. The day before they said it would come they sent me and email that said the person who returned the dress sent it back in poor condition so they couldn't send me the dress in my size then they said to get back to them by 5pm which was 2.5 hours later (with out even a phone call to let me know) or they were sending out other dresses to me that were similar. I was like seriously? I reserved this dres 6 to 8 weeks ago now you're not going to send the dress? They should say pick out the color you like and we'll send you whatever dress we want in the same color but this may not look good on you. Also, they asked me for back up dresses to send to me. Wouldn't cha know it they did't have most of the back up dresses in my size either. What a coincidence. This business is a waste of time nad is not worth the frustration. What a crock of ***.

I loved my dress from rent the runway...

They offer very currrent styles and everything was delivered perfectly in an awesome garment bag. I even recieved make up samples!!!~ I am about to use them again.

Amazing company.
