We were making reservation on www.DHR.com on the evening of the 19th of August 2011 while staying in Cannes, France for the following night of August 20th in Saint Tropez hotel SOLEIL DE SAINT TROPEZ. During the final stage of payment the server page has reloaded. As we confirmed payment we noticed that the date was changed to August 28th 2011. Within 1 minute we called USA customer service office that is supposed to be on US time 6 to 9 hours behind France that had 22:40:08 19th of August time. The DHR representative picked up the phone and informed us that they can’t do anything and the money has gone unless we go and use our stay on the 28th of August, but we will be back in USA at that time as kids are starting school. They asked to submit the query on-line which we did immediately, Ticket Number : #GXGE2831, today, on the afternoon of August 22nd there is still have no response.
We had no choice but to book and pay for Tropez hotel SOLEIL DE SAINT TROPEZ in full again for correct dates beginning on 20th of August and DHR failed to admit and own up to their fault Our money has gone and customer service rep was very rude and short instead of expected “helpful”. Now we have paid for services to DHR that that are known not to be performed and that is illegal.
