No you don't have to do anything special to make PC133 work in a PC100 system. The problem you're having suggests that the PC133 memory is defective- you should return it for another one.

Adding a 256mb pc133 memory module to my system, which already had a pc100 64mb memory module, caused random crashes, i removed the new memory and the system worked fine: i replaced the old memory and still my system crashed randomly. Do i need to change any bios settings or upgrade the bios for the pc133 memory to work with pc100 motherboard??? Please help!!!!
