We shopped for wallpaper at Steve’s Blinds and Wallpaper in one of their local facilities. They had so many books, it was hard to choose. It was very clean and organized and they have great hours for working people. There were also many different blinds and curtains displayed. The customer service rep was very helpful, knowledgeable and personable and we got a great deal with a coupon offer. I would definitely go back to Steve’s and highly recommend them. Thanks.

I took delivery on 2 sets of wood blinds Steves Blinds and Wallpaper and installed them today. The blinds were for an office in my shop so I shopped more for price than anything, not expecting high quality. I was pleasantly surprised! They fit and function perfectly and are of very high quality. Thanks for a great product at a great price.

I am shocked at the bad reviews!! I have ordered several times in the past 10 years and have never had a problem. I have always been please with the customer service. Everyone I have ever talked to at Steves has been more than helpful and always very pleasant.

I recieved my blinds today and they all fit! They have all been hung with the exception of the sliding door vertical. This I am still contimplating but I am sure we will be able to install this too. We have an A-frame and angle prowed home with windows covering the entire front. By ordering from Steve's we have saved over $2000 Really!

I've just purchased my 7th set of 2" faux wood blinds from Steves Blinds and Wallpaper, they are beautiful. I've bought them for my daughter's home and now ours. They are a fantastic price, lower than our own Home Improvement Stores here in town. The quality is amazing, and fast delivery. This is the only place to go for window coverings.

After waiting for almost 4 months for wallpaper from a local store, I cancelled it and ordered the very same paper from Steve's at exactly HALF the price, and received in in 4 days. I can't believe I wasted so much time trying to buy locally! I don't think I would order paper based on the site's color photos, as it would be very hard to tell the exact hues, but if you research in the books at a store before you buy, it's fine. The service was excellent and I will definitely order from them again. As for blinds, I am more hesitant, because they do not have an installer in my area. I also don't trust myself to measure accurately. In Steve's defense, it has been my experience in the past 6 months that many of the blind manufacturers are either in bankruptcy or having real problems with stock and delivery. I don't believe it is Steve's fault if something is back-ordered or unavailable.

I purchased Levolor vertical custom blinds. The blinds came in about 10 days from the date ordered and everything with the order was perfect. The blinds are easy to install and look great.
My only negative is that other sites offered more custom options, such as the curved valance and chains on the bottom, but they did not offer free shipping!

Great service. They went out of their way to provide the exact materials we needed. They answered all of our questions. The blinds came very fast and were super easy to install. They look great. The coupons really added to the investment. Shop no more, order from Steves!

I was very, very impressed with the high quality of service and the blinds themselves. The blinds were shipped, promptly, in ulta protective packaging. There is no way they can be damaged in transit with this type of packaging. I ordered three blinds the first time and just placed another order today. I love Steve's blinds and would recommend them to everyone. (They always have coupon codes to reduce the price!)

WOW, what service! My order arrived in 4 days, the lst company I ordered from took 6 weeks. The quality from Steve's was outstanding, and the final price was even less than quoted. I will be a repeat customer! The color was the same, but I like the fact you can get a sample for $5. and then is applied to your order.

I placed a blind order in Jan. 2010 and am still waiting on one blind. The blind that I did receive a month after placing the order did not have the correct parts to hang it. I have called twice to try and get the right parts and still have not received them. Steve's simply blames the manufacturer instead of taking care of the problem regardless of what it takes.
In reference to the "missing" blind I continually receive "backordered" by email. When I call I get told different backorder dates than had been in the emails.
I understand they don't actually make the blinds at Steve's and that they order from various manufacturers....but....if you have problems with certain suppliers one would think it would be best for Steve's NOT to use the problem manufacturers.
It's easy to "pass the buck" and continually apologize instead of "making it right" and fixing the problem....it's known as "customer service". A concept that seems to omitted in today's online businesses.
I was also told I couldn't even return the one blind that I did get as it was considered "custom". Which does me no good if I can't even hang it and I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get the other one that matches. I am also sure my neighbors would prefer me to have window treatments up as one is a very large patio door and the missing one is a large kitchen nook window.
I searched many websites and chose Steve's because of the color and material choices they provided, as well as, the great price. However I am thinking that my $800 order which saved me $200 from a different company is not worth the wait or the hassles.
I strongly advise you to make sure they have access to the product you are considering BEFORE you place the order...or be willing to wait indefinitely for you blinds.

Very nice people to deal with. "Chat" option VERY helpful! Prices and deals and discounts great! Service prompt and efficient! I ordered on Wed late PM and received my product on Sat. AM. I was extremely happy with my order it was about 75% less than Wallauer, (plus Wallauer wanted $20 shipping fee to their store)received it in about 5 days the help was most curtious and friendly would definitely order from them again.Plus it was exactly what I wanted.

This is my first experience buying from Steves Blinds and Wallpaper and Im very satisfied with my paper and their service. I checked out 3 other sites first I ordered and Steves beat all their prices. I got my paper in 1 week. I love the free shipping and the 2 coupons that were available on the day I ordered. My only complaint is the colors didnt show up very well on the site.

Very quick & easy to place order. Very fast service, came before I was expecting it.
I was disappointed in the color. The picture looked like gray/pink which is what I wanted, but in reality, it is blue/pink. I will use it since I have almost $90 in it.

We bought Cellular Shades and Wood Blinds for our entire house. Steve's crew was great! They were extremely helpful - I chatted with them and spoke with them on the phone - each time the representative was very polite and extremely helpful. We received all of our blinds within 6 days and on the 7th day we installed them. They were exactly what we wanted and they fit like a charm. the quality is great and the prices were almost 1/2 of what Lowes and Home Depot was charging.

I ordered the wallpaper 4 weeks prior to needing it. i received an email saying it is backordered until 1.5 weeks from my move in date but that was still agreeable so I did not cancel.
I didn't receive my paper 7 dyas later then ship date and called steve's. they said mfg backordered again won't be in until way after I move in. All they would say is it's not their fault if the mfg gave them wrong del date. No ability to do anythign and i have to move in with no wallpaper. don't buy from here if you have any type of deadline because they don't hold themselves responsible for mfg.

I ordered a mini-blind for my kitchen , shipping was quick. When I received it I had problem with pulling the blind up and down. I called the customer service , they were so helpful, they called the factory right away and beleive it or not , the following week I had a new mini-blind. This Company stands by their products and some of the accusation other people have are incorrect. I will definitely order again from Steve's wallpaper. "they told me to keep the other mini blind and just donate it to someone. I have nothing but praise for this company.

I was hesitant after seeing some of the complaints. But since I was ordering wallpaper and not a custom bline, and the price was 25% lower than any place else, I wen't ahead and ordered 4 double rolls of Waverly wallpaper on a Sunday, got order confirmation immediately, and shipping notice with tracking on Friday. My blinds in great shape were here by the following Wednesday (total of 10 days including weekend). No issues to report.

I placed my order back in November and still haven't received it. I keep getting told that the order is on backorder, one that seems like it will never end. I should have seen these reviews, they're horrid. I mean come if you see the review where Steve is saying that if you have any problems call him directly (it is indeed his office phone) you'll see also that he has posted multiple positive reviews against his OWN company. If you're gonna do this, at least make it look less discrete. As for the "A+ Better Business Bureau Rating" I don't know how much they're paying BBB to get that rating, but its false.

I actually work for this company and I do believe all of this is false information. Most people do not realize that we do NOT know any information of backordering or discontinued until the manufacturer notifies US and we relay the message so therefore it is NOT Steve's Blinds fault it's the companies! SO to the people that place orders with me day by day I do appreciate your business and I look forward to assisting people who understand sometimes things can be hectic and you dont think it is hard for us to deal with you idiotic people who can't order something right and then try to LIE about their order, try again, calls are recorded.

I am a very unhappy ex-customer.
I ordered the wallpaper on February 4th, it took them two weeks to realize that they "cannot deliver to the PO Box (I only found that out after calling them), after changing the delivery address it took another 8 days, until February 24th (again I found that out after calling the company) that they do not offer that particular wallpaper (even thought they still advertise it on their web site today). Very bad service, I do not recommend to use it if you want a reliable customer service and the product that you are looking for.

I should have read these reviews BEFORE I ordered my wallpaper. I've ordered wallpaper from American Blind before, but this was the first (and LAST) time I will order from Steve's. I ordered wallpaper for 5 rooms! The wallpaper for one room was the WRONG color. In order to EXCHANGE it for a different wallpaper, I would still have to pay a 30% restocking fee + shipping. I didn't want my money back; I wanted a wallpaper that worked. I'll keep my wallpaper, sell it on eBay and order the new color from someone else. Lesson learned about Steve's: you might save a few dollars in ordering, but the customer service stinks. In the long run it will cost you. I will never use this site again. If I order online again, I'll go with American. I've never had trouble there (wallpapered 3 houses with their paper). P.S. The "sale" memos that scroll at the top of Steve's page should have alerted me to "scam". They run the same urgent message daily. P.P.S. The company should offer a 0 or -1 for their ratings, too. Very pleased! (order wp149820) I'm nervous about ordering anything online, but I wanted an expensive grasscloth and Steve's price was much lower than anyone else's So, I took a chance and ordered: Called first and spoke with a nice, professional salesperson who explained all my "what ifs." Ordered Sunday, tracking number provided on Monday, and wallpaper on my porch on Wednesday. Beautiful quality, amazing price, unbelievably fast delivery. And free shipping. Will use again and recommend to my friends.

I ordered a couple of Graber roman shades from Steve's and both the wife and I are thrilled with them. Steve's prices were by far the lowest we could find and we didn't have any issues with our order.
The *only* thing I would have liked more is if I had been notified by email when they shipped. However, when I checked my order status, the site showed that the blinds were scheduled to ship on Feb 1 -- but I actually received them on Feb 2!
I'll definitely order from Steve's again.

I bought wallpaper for my kitchen and for my living room from Steves Blinds and Wallpaper. Their website made it so easy for what I was looking for. Their prices were almost half for the same identical wallpaper that I saw at Sherwin Williams. I placed my order on a Monday and the wallpaper was at my door on Wednesday. I couldn't believe it! I did have a problem with a couple fo the rolls - I call their customer service department and they immediately shipped out replacements. Everyone I spoke to at Steves Blinds and Wallpaper were friendly and very helpful. I give them a 2 thumbs up.

We ordered 18 faux wood blinds for our home. we called around to all the internet companies. Steve's seem to have the most knowledgeable and most professional people on the telephones. Their website is really really easy to use. Our blinds arrived faster than they said they would. My husband installed all them and the fit PERFECT! The quality of the faux woods are great and we saved a ton of money compared to what Home Depot wanted to charge us. I would highly recommend this company. We will be back for more after we save up money for the rest of our house. Cudos to Steve.

This was the worst online shopping experience that I have ever had. The web site shipping information ( ships in 1-2 days) and the order status info showed that it would probably ship in 2 days} were both misleading and wrong. When I called to check I was totally stonewalled. They disavowed any knowledge of the web site and kept saying it would ship the next day-it did not. When passed on to a supervisor, while polite she did not want to hear or help, and continued to stonewall. My advise as a retired retailer, would be to avoid this site.

DO NOT ORDER from "Steves". Poor customer services, complete lack of tracking of what is happening to your order, no way to cancel order once its "in manufacturing" which is immidiately after you place the order and for the next month. They charge your credit card right away and they will not ship your order but will keep giving run arounds and put you on hold for half an hour at a time. I've had it with them, filing a dispute though PayPal.

I am not sure how many of the positive posts are fabricated here. I should have looked for these complaints before ordering.
I placed an order on 12/21 and my credit card was charged. The order page stated that the order would ship within 48-72 hours or it was free. The status page showed the expected ship date as 12/24. Since there was no change to the status even on 12/30 I enquired about it and found out the order had not gone through. There was no communication from them. They then said the order went through on 1/2. It had not shipped by 1/7 and so when I enquired I was given a tracking number. However it turned out this tracking number was for a package delivered to a different city.
When I enquired about this, they went silent. Finally after almost a month, my money is gone and I have nothing to show for it.
Buyer beware. They will lure you in with so called guarantees and disappear with your money.

I'm not sure what I can add to the glowing customer feedback of Steve's Blinds & Wallpaper, but here goes...
I thought it was going to be a bad experience when I ordered Steve's brand of solar shades twice, only to find the materials I requested were out of stock on both occasions. But Steve Katzman got involved personally and had his staff track down my exact choice of material from an outside vendor, than make my shades quickly, expertly, flawlessly. They really are the perfect touch that transforms my family room into "home."
Steve's is different than the Blinds to Go's, Home Depots and Smith & Nobles of the world. First of all, Steve's products are half… and sometime a third… the price, but of exceptional quality. Second, his samples are free, and his website has more choices than anyone else's. Third, Steve is a local businessman who actually cares about what kind of experience his customers have and whether or not they are satisfied with his products and services. My blinds arrived before I thought they'd even have time to make them, triple-protected by special packaging, perfectly sized and easy to install.
This company really did right by me. It's my third time ordering from Steve's, and it won’t be my last. Thank you, Steve's.

This company is terrible. I called several times requesting a price on some wallpaper. Someone who seemed like a telemarketer with no experience took my call and assured me that they would get back to me and after several more phone calls, I just gave up. This company seems sketchy to me and I will go with a regular store, even if the price is a little higher

Called for a sample, they sent me the wrong one and mis-labeled it. The website doesn't have a preview for the color when ordering for this product. Ordered based upon the incorrect sample received. When the blind arrived with the wrong colors Steve's claimed it was correctly ordered as was input into the site. Thus it was my fault, even though they were the ones who sent out the incorrect sample which was mislabeled. Only option given by Steve's... pay for a repair. Also they ignore my emails. Filed a complaint with the BBB and they lied by offering a decent settlement but never followed through! Avoid Steve's!

1 out of two blinds arrived as ordered, but one was completely wrong! I called Steve's Blinds customer service and quickly realized that this was NOT a company that guaranteed 100% satisfaction. In fact, it's almost commical that the supposed 100% satisfaction covers almost nothing. On top of that, I was blamed for everything and the manager/supervisor talked over me during the call and then hung up on me. Well, I just introduced Steve's Blinds to a credit card "chargeback." This is what protects us consumers against companies like Steve's Blinds. The credit card company promised to have my money refunded. If Steve's Blinds screws you... just be sure to call your credit card company and ask about filing a chargeback.

First order took 6 days and arrived damaged. Wanted to just cancel order but was told it could take up to 60 days to get refund because they were going to blame FedEx and would have to get them to pay for damaged product. I chose to have order reshipped. Took another 6 days and this time it came with wrong brackets and no directions. Will take 2 more days to get that stuff. I doubt that will be right. I so totally regret ever making this purchase I could cry. The whole thing has really me bummed out.
