I have made three orders with Steves Blinds and Wallpaper, all without a hitch. I received two custom verticle blinds yesterday and they fit perfect. I got both at a very reasonable price, too. Very please. I color-matched a gallon of paint to match the sand-colored blinds and the LR looks great. I also received two murals. The look does wonders, however, the ink was mis-matched between panel 1 and 2 on the larger mural. It's a little distracting but not overwhelmingly so. The other 3' X 4' mural was thick papered and I guess that I was careless when I hung it because a large airbubble formed and I had to "X" it out. But that was my bad, not Steve's. Overall, very pleased with the fast shipping and service. I would give them 5 stars if not for the mis-matched mural.

Recieved 5 top down bottom up cordless cellular shades. installation was easy and they are so pretty. The staff was easy to work with, however, the website could be a little more user friendly as I had trouble finding what I wanted. That of course doesn't take away from the fact that these are great shades for a low price.

I have ordered from Steve's several times. Simple fact is they are the cheapest. However, I don't like the 30% restocking fee and paying for shipping; it is excessive. They know nobody is going to do that.

Samples are too small and too expensive. I can go to my local store and order a sample for free or very little. That makes me feel bad knowing I will not order from them.

Customer Service is usually good, it depends on who you talk to. They inform me thru email on the status of my order and any other information I need to know.

Steve's Blinds is a great website which is easy to use and has great prices with great customer service.For the guy who ordered the mini blind for 10.73 and right before you order it says that you are charged 4.95 for a processing fee. So you paid a total of 15.68 for a mini blind and you are complaining. Are you kidding me I have been ordering blinds from Steve's for months and steve's blinds is the best and cheapest website to order from. All the websites have a small processing fee.Blinds to go is a rip off.

I received my custom made pleated shade today, and my husband has already installed it. It is beautiful, functional, and exactly what I hoped for. It was a great price, and took 10 days to arrive from the day I ordered it. The only glitch was that I did not receive tracking info until the very day the shade arrived, so it was useless to me. Other than that, however, the transaction was smooth. I would order from them again. Order 167039.

I placed my first order with this company last week, as the price was unbeatable. I only ordered 2 of the 6 vertical blinds I needed (contractor quality), wanting to see the quality on the first order. I ordered late Monday and received shipment late Friday. I was totally satisfied with the quality, so I ordered the remaining 4. The service was outstanding. The second order was placed Sunday afternoon and the blinds were delivered by noon on Wednesday. I highly recommend Steve's Blinds.

Quality and prices can not be beat! Customer service needs improvment though.I contacted them 3 times regarding an order and no one could tell me anything other than the manufacturer would contact me, but never did.Don't even bother with the online chat service. Their info is limited to, "are you ready to place your order now???!" What's really neat is you can contact Steve directly via his email address. I did this and got my answer from Steve in just a few hours. Impressive !

Thw website said that the item would ship in 48 to 72 hrs. The item shipped 7 days (5 business days) later. I recieved the order and it was wrong so they said they would have the manufacturer re-make the shades. Then I was told it would ship in 2 business days, It got pushed back to 7 business days later. Took another 2 weeks to receive the item. After they told me about the push back in dates I asked to cncel because i did not want to wait and they told me "no, it is in production" however the order would not ship for another 7 days. There was no winning w/ this company!!

As a first time customer of Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper, I am very pleased with my purchse. I ordered a wallpaper mural on May 6/10 and received it May 13/10. This is very quick delivery seeing that I am in Canada and it had to go through customs. The mural looks even more beautiful than it did online. I would not hesitate to order again from Steve's. We took a chance and ordered our blinds from Steves, it no doubt saved used hundreds maybe even thousands from our local retailor. Shipping was fast no problems entailed received just what we ordered. Only downfall was not being able to track the shipping but for the savings it was well worth it, they are hanging and look great! I AM SOOOO GLAD THAT I FOUND STEVES BLINDS AND WALLPAPER!!!!!!! I normally deal with a local company here, but when I went up to find my wallpaper and border, the prices were blowing my budget way out of the water. I wrote down all the patterns that I liked and went to see if I could get a better deal. I found Steves Blinds and Wallpaper website. I found all my patterns that I wanted for half the price that my company here was charging. I placed my order on Monday and had everything here and ready to start my project by Thursday. I have been very excited and will make Steves Blinds and Wallpaper MY wallpaper and border store from here on out. Give them a Try, I am recommending them highly to all my friends.

I am reposting this review because it somehow got deleted. It was posted in january. This was the worst online shopping experience that I have ever had. The web site shipping information (ships in 1-2 days) and the order status info ( showed that it would ship in 2 days) were both totally misleading and wrong. When I called to check I was totally stonewalled. They disavowed any knowledge of the web site and kept saying it would ship the next day-it did not. When passed on to a supervisor, while polite she did not want to hear or help and continued to stonewall. My advice as a retired retailer would be to avoid this site. order # XXX9606 Brunswick GA.

Just wanted to let you know that I called today and spoke with Tyler who was

very helpful. I ordered vertical blinds back in October of 2009 and one of my

blinds broke and will not spin open anymore. Tyler was able to speak with the

manufacturer and I will be receiving a replacement soon. I was very pleased with

my original order and will be ordering a couple more blinds very soon and I

wouldn't dream of ordering from anywhere else after your awesome customer

service. It's hard to find a company that stands behind thier products and

provides great customer service after the original sale.

I am very dissatisfied with the completion of my order. A very small bathroom with cuttouts for 2 doorways and a cubbard - NONE of which were used in the dimensions I gave to the service rep. I was told the run was between 1 - 2 rolls when I asked about the cutouts 1 was deemed sufficient. No where near enough paper - 4 panels short - we have now waited 2 WEEKS for the reorder - when I called today I was told it was just being sent out "today". Additionally, in the initial request for samples - one was completely incorrect. These were interactions with telephone reps - everyone is polite but apparently incompetent. One last complaint - the "service fee" is excessive and should have been credited on the second order.

I have recently purchased Steve's brand of faux wood blinds. They are beautiful and compare with the name brand I have purchased in the past. They look great and I have just ordered blinds for two additional windows. I have purchased wall paper this year and in previous years. All items have been sent to me in a timely matter and were exactly what I ordered. The customer service people are wonderful to deal with. I would and do recommend Steves Blinds. They are honest - kind of unusual in today's world.

My comment is just a general one not necessarily aimed at Steves alone, but these processing fees,I feel, are just a way to say "free shipping" to lure you in, nothing is free in business. One other comment I'd like to post is the practice of selling wallpaper in two roll sets, whoever came up with that one? Gee, I wonder!!! Now, instead of having just a partial roll left over, I have a whole roll and 3/4 roll left over at the tune of 20.00/roll. Not exactly a consumer oriented feature. Other than that, Steves does as well as you could expect.

Today I experienced the best way to order blinds! I went on a Chat talk that is set up by Steve's blinds and spoke to Gigi the sales rep. My experience was GREAT . These folks know how to professionally take care of there customers in a prompt and effecient way. From the time I got on the Chat and had an order in my hands to pay, it was a Great experience--No delays--No I will get back to you -ETC. This company has their act together. I will continue doing business with Steve's blinds and ALL my builder/real Estate folks will know about them also. I highly recommend them--there product line is very well designed. I had special sizes and other kinds of complications--NO PROBLEM for them. GREAT JOB !! You also Gigi--very prompt, clear, good sales person. Frank

My wife and I visited Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper after first visiting twelve other websites selling Hunter Douglas sheer blinds. Steve's prices were the second lowest, so I called the 800 number shown and talked with Tyler, a real professional. I explained the price difference. Tyler put me on hold briefly to check the competitor's website and than came back on the line and adjusted their price 10% lower than the competitor. (They really are serious about their price guarantee). I saved over 50% on the blinds (compared to a Hunter Douglas local distributor's quote)!! I was impressed with the professionalism of Tyler. I will call and ask for him in six months when we redecorate our bedroom (the next project).

When I placed my order in the showroom, I gave the consultant a list of my measurements with the height and width listed clearly and separately, as well as photographs of each window that I was placing a blind order for. When my blinds were delivered, the height and width were reversed. When I called to have my order corrected, I was told that nothing could be done for me, I had signed a contract. After re-reading the contract that I signed, it clearly stated that I provided Steve's with the correct measurements, which I did. I cannot control that their employee input the information they were presented with incorrectly. I have all of the documentation (list of measurements and photos) that I brought into the showroom with me, however they were not even interested in seeing this. I will never purchase from this company again-they obviously do not have a 100% satisfaction guarantee as they claim and do not hold their employee's accountable for their actions.

I recommend Steves to all my relatives and friends. I ran an online business for 8 years before I sold it, and Steves follows the same principals I alwasys did and that is Take Care of the Customer !!!

I had a certain wall paper saved in my "scrap book" on another online wall paper order service. I had intended to order this and was building a whole room around it. When I went to order it, there was a "discontinued" notation. I freaked out.

I went to Steve's and it was still available. I ordered right away, at a lower price than the other site and received my order IN TWO DAYS!!

Two days from the time I ordered it until it was delivered to my front porch. GREAT SERVICE!

We are very pleased with our blinds from Steve's For the money there are perfect. Our 2 little poodles love they can stick their noses out and not get into trouble with Mummy for messing up the drapes.I'm just getting ready to order another set. Every one that has seen them has remarked how nice they look and are quiet supprised at the price. One friend paid over $1,200 for hers and says the look is the same.

They arrived in a timely manner and all I talked to at the company were helpful and friendly . Some people are not happy with anything. I have also found if you are respectful you pretty much get respect from others. I would definatly recommend Steve's from my personal experience

Purchased 7 Hunter-Douglas Ducette, 2 large sliding patio doors, all beautiful & easily installed. Bought Steve's discount House Brand for garage and exercise room; cheaper price, lower quality expected but they're IMPOSSIBLE to install which is UNACCEPTABLE but worse, NO response to e-mail re: problem. 4-Star for Hunter-Douglas brand! $$ down the rat hole with Steve's brand, 0 Stars for Steve's Brand. DO NOT BUY Steve's brand, they've not the courtesy of a response when problem arises!

I have a red sink in my new kitchen and have wanted red mini blinds to match. Steve's has them. The blinds came today, I installed them in 15 minutes and they are perfect. Five day shipping. This is the second time I've bought blinds from Steve's and will do so again.

Pattern #: X99EUUR9H, 1 roll, Border

Upon ordering, I was given an estimated ship date of 3/23/2010. Today is 4/16/2010, and I have yet to receive my order. I have already contacted them twice regarding this matter; but, of course to no avail. They did not respond to either of my inquiries.

Their website boasted of free shipping (which, as is their plan, enticed me) then tacked on a $10.50 processing fee at checkout; essentially doubling the price of my order. Further, they charged my credit card on the day I ordered, rather than, as is customary, on the day of shipment. Which means I have already paid for something that I don't believe I am ever going to receive.

I first looked at Home Depot, Menard's and Lowe's and could not find blinds that were custom made and affordable. I finally went online and found Steve's Blinds. I was nervous about ordering blinds online, I wasn't sure I would get the color and quality I desired by looking at a picture on a website. I went ahead and placed an order for faux wood blinds for my living room.

The blinds arrived right on time and were in perfect condition. They were the exact color I wanted. The blinds did not come with instructions, so I called customer service. I spoke with the nicest representative who forwarded me to the installation department (we could not get the instructions online). Within minutes I had an email with the instructions for installation. My husband was able to put up all three blinds in about a half hour.

The blinds are absolutely beautiful! As a matter of fact, I just placed my second order with Steve's for blinds for my bathroom. I will place future orders for blinds for the dining room and kitchen.

I will definitely reccommend Steve's to my family and friends! Their quality and prices are unbeatable. The customer service is is top notch, too!

Go to Lowes or Home Depot for your wallpaper, you'll get a better deal in the end. I found Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper to be misleading, dishonest, and a ripoff. Then, they have the nerve to insist on a 30% restocking fee after having misrepresented themselves.

Yes, you can't beat the price on their blinds, but the woman I worked with when I called in to do a price match, was horrible to work with. She put me on hold for several minutes multiple times, and then supposedly couldn't hear me once I disagreed with her. After saying she'd all me back in 5 minutes, and I didn't here from her in 30, I called back. And that happened multiple times as well. FINALLY got the order placed, and she got the shipping address wrong with a numerical TYPO. Give me a break! I just about broke down in tears after dealing with her curt customer service. Is the price worth it? We'll see once I get the blinds.

I placed my order twelve days ago and called yesterday to find out when I could expect to receive my blinds. I was informed that my blinds were backordered at least one month, though I was billed through my charge card at the time I placed the order. At no time was I informed that my blinds were backordered and it would take so long for me to receive them. This is very poor service. The sales representative I spoke with yesterday promised to look through other vendors that same day to see if I could get similar blinds sooner. He assured me he would call me back that same day with information and never did. Overall, right now, I am very dissatisfied with Steves Blinds and Wallpaper and will cancel my order if I can find someplace else to get my blinds. Their online advertising was very misleading and their follow-up service (lack of) even worse. My order # is C152270
