Here you will find the links to charts that show the 2D performance of all the 2D/3D accelerators we tested.  Note that at times we may test and provide the numbers for a card that we did not officially write a review article for.  This can be because the card has been on the market for a while or because we simply do not have the time to write a review for it.  The system configuration is as follows: 64 Mbyte PC 100 SDRAM, Diamond Fireport 40, Quantum Viking 4.5 NSE Ultra Narrow SCSI Hard Drive, and Wearnes 24X IDE CD-ROM.  The only difference between Socket 7 and Slot 1 systems is the use of motherboard: Envision mVP3 was used for Socket 7 CPUs while the Asus P2B was used for Slot 1 CPUs.  Please see Review: < $99 2D/3D Accelerators Square Off for driver versions used for each video card.

Business Winstone 98

For each video card, Ziff-Davis' Business Business Winstone 98 was ran under Windows 95 at 1024x768x16 bit color.  The vertical refresh rate was 85 hertz.
