Order Cancelled After 10 DaysI bought half-dozen of Superior Touch Better Than Bouillon Lobster Base Bouillon from Walmart.com back on December 19th. I got it at a pretty good price, a little more than $25. But today I received an email saying that they cancelled my order because it was "out of stock". That's pathetic because when I bought it, it was indicated as available, so I placed the order. Now well over a week, order never shipped and they decide no they're not going to send it after all. I'd bet that in a week they'll have it back in stock at the regular price. It's crap like this that is going to keep this company always behind Amazon.com. It's pretty sad to say because I'm a shareholder of Walmart, lol. Now this was stuff for my kitchen, but imagine if it were a Christmas gift.... BTW this was the reply from Walmart.com customer service. I'm really sorry to see that a refund has been processed for your order. I understand how inconvenient this can be as this order was important for you. I understand at the moment you placed your order the item showed available but is possible that while processing something happened to the item and there were no more available to replace it. However, I'm unable to confirm this is the actual reason. Since a refund has been issued for your order, I'm unable to process a request to process your order again. In this case my best recommendation will be for you to place a new order for your items. The refund will post to your original method of payment within 7 business days. I’d recommend contacting your financial institution to check their refund policy to have a better idea of when the funds will be available. I truly apologize for this unpleasant experience. Please be assured that our standard of services is much higher of what has been displayed this time. We hope to have the chance to meet your expectations in the near future. Not too happy with Walmart.comI placed an order recently with Walmart.com for curtain rods with a clear acrylic ball at both ends, but they sent me ones with bronze. I replied to the order confirmation email as instructed, and never got a reply. I tried again a week later, same thing. So I go on the site and contacted them via the form they had, and got back a generic response to use their return service to proceed. Whatever- I thought I'd just return it in store. The closest Walmart is about 14 miles from me, but since I'd go going that way next week, I'll just do it that way. So I decided to place an order for a swimming safety vest ("Sterns Puddle Jumpers Life Vest") for my toddler, and then do a store pickup. Next day- got an order cancellation email saying that the item is not available for pickup at the store. Okay.... I go back online and see that it is IN-STOCK. So I placed another order which went through no problem, and literally 15 minutes later, got the same cancellation email. WTF? Why would you list something as in stock and available in store for pickup if it is not? I've just about had it with Walmart.com. Definitely will try to avoid in the future. Walmart.com Refuses to Ship Order They BotchedI bought Reaper of Souls and Diablo III over the Black Friday weekend on Walmart.com for $15 each. I received an email from the site saying that the order was shipped a few days later. After 2 weeks, I wondered where the games were, and contacted them. They said that the 2 items were "returned" because of some error in their warehouse trying to fulfill them. So fine, please ship them out to me as soon as possible? Wrong, says customer service. However, we cannot change an order once it has been placed, canceled or returned. We have issued a refund of $30.00 What the heck? You mess up my order, and despite that fact that I do not want a refund, are refusing to ship them? Checking Walmart.com, both titles were in stock, albeit of course at much higher prices. Ridiculous. Checking the UPS tracking number, it showed that it never even left the warehouse. I have a sneaky suspicion that some fulfillment personnel (likely at some local store) jacked my games at those prices, leaving nothing to send to me. Very shady. I ordered so many more times from Amazon.com and nothing even remotely close like this has happened. If a delivery went screwy, they would be very apologetic and re-send the order if that was what I wanted. This is shockingly bad customer service. My take away from this is to avoid ordering Christmas gifts from Walmart.com, because you just might not get them. They will hijack your money, hold the funds, and then just give you a refund when you finally contact CS to ask where the heck the order is, and think that is perfectly acceptable. Smooth TransactionWalmart.com had a good price on the Nabi 2 Kid's tablet for $99 with free shipping. Bought it online, and got it about a week later. Too bad I had to pay tax, but my $30 off $100 American Express offer more than made up for it. One thing I do wish they have is some sort of club discount program. Target has their RedCard 5% + free shipping on any amount. Amazon has their Prime program. Other places have points/rewards for future orders, etc. Pros:Was this review helpful for you? +1 -0
