Still awaiting contact

My cover is not the right cover...it does not fit my dinghy. Not even close. I sent an email this past Sunday but have yet to hear back. I cannot use this cover. I have wasted $200 to this point. Please contact me so we can get this resolved.

    Sorry to say don't order from here. Been waiting for months and still don't have product! They never answer e mails, and every time you get them on phone they say sorry out of stock last order they received went to other customers not you!!!!and next possible delivery is 4 week away. But they took my money months ago. Very unprofessional!!! DON'T TAKE ORDERS IF YOU CAN'T COMPLETE THEM!!!

    Ordered cover for 16 1/2' tri-hull but received cover for "V" hull. 4 weeks later after customer service assured me they would correct the problem, got the replacement.

    Still the wrong cover, same as the first one. The price and quality are good, but none of that helps if the cover doesn't fit properly. Can't say much for customer service.

    I orderd a boat cover from this company , windstorm product.

    It appears to be of high quality but it took a long time to arrive. That was not a big deal to me as it was presented as a semi custom cover for a specific year, make, model. The boat was in storage out of state so by the time I could test the it their 30 day return had passed. the cove is 10 feet to wide when on the trailer it hangs to the ground and 3+ feet to long. There is no way it's for eh boat that they claim it's for. Must be for some Day cruiser not a low profile ski/speed boat.

    I sent pictures explained the situation and got nothing except a reply that said I had missed the return period. A $700 dollar "semi custom" cover for a 1989 Taylor 720 s that is useless.

    I am willing to share the blame because I took to long to check the fit, but I feel they have some responsibility due to the extreme mis representation that it fits a specific boat.

    Does not fit

    Ordered golf cart cover does not fit, now customer service tells me they do not make one to cover my cart, cost me 68.00 to ship it back and they tell me there will be a 10% restocking fee. I will never do business with this company again and I strongly recommend that you don't either. order number G463812 Nov 28 2019

    Windstorm Boat Cover

    I have an older Beachcraft that I was having trouble finding a cover for it. I call National and they were very helpful in matching me with the right cover. I received it 3 days after ordering and it fits like a glove. The canvas seems to be a very high quality.

    Poor fit, horrible customer service

    I ordered the most expensive boat cover I could find on-line for my new $56,000 boat. I ordered and paid $700 for a "semi-custom" cover in Sunbrella material from National Boat Covers, and a "free" engine cover in the same material was to be included. When received, the cover was huge....big enough for a boat 3 feet longer than mine. So much for "semi-custom" fitment. I have learned their term, "semi-custom," means "it doesn't fit any particular boat but can be draped over anything and cover it." I can never use this cover to trailer my boat as the cover would flap relentlessly and cause damage to the boat. I can only use the cover for storage and for mooring the boat, and that's not why I bought the cover in the first place. The engine cover was way too small and wouldn't fit my 200 HP Evinrude engine. When asked what size of engine I had, I told them I had a 200 horsepower Evinrude. Apparently, they think all engines of the same horsepower are of identical exterior dimensions. Stupid!!!

    Customer service was especially poor. One of their reps sent a replacement engine cover that was supposed to be delivered over a week ago. When I called a third time to find out why it hadn't been delivered, I was told the identical engine cover had been sent for the second time and it would be delivered yesterday. I still can't figure out why the customer service rep would send an identical engine cover when the first was too small, other than to "get me off the phone." The second cover never arrived. I received an email from customer service from Nicole who stated in her email I needed to pay for the second cover, even though it was the same incorrect size as the first. When I didn't respond to her email, she apparently had FedEx redirect the shipment back to National. Too bad, as I had hoped my wife could have used her sewing skills to make one usable engine cover out of the two too small covers. I'll be returning this cover and engine cover.....I can not abide spending $700 on any product and be treated poorly by customer service, and especially for a product that doesn't fit. Also, I still don't have a usable engine cover, and that was not the deal we agreed to when I ordered.

    You ordered it, you eat it! cost you return and restocking fee

    I ordered boat bimini top. It was wrong size so wanted to return it and get exchanged. The item was still in transit, not delivered yet. I called them and answer was I need to pay for the return shipping and restocking fee 10%. ITEM WAS STILL IN TRANSIT! but they still wanted to charge me all that! Return shipping? Restocking fee when I did not even receive it yet? What is the logic and reason behind the restocking fee for an item still transit? Other than just want your money, A BAD COMPANY.

    Just give a second thought when you order with these guys online. For a little mistake, you have to eat the item.

    A Company with no Integrity

    I bought a boat cover from these folks strictly based on when I could get it delivered. I was assured by the salesman, Anthony, that I would get the cover in a day in a half, because it was in stock, and I was local. Based on that fact I placed the order but never received the cover, a receipt, or any information. I called up customer service and was told they were out of stock and had to order a cover for me and it would take some time. (This was for a cover I was told was in stock) I said I wanted to then cancel my order, since they did not deliver or notify me. They said they would charge me a 25% restocking fee, (for something I never received). (This was not a custom cover, just a stock cover.) When I asked to talk to the supervisor, I was told to leave a voicemail as she was busy. When I said I would hold they hung up.

    This is a terrible company to do business with and they literally lie to a customer to get an order.

    WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM NATIONAL COVERS

    DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE WITH THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE AT RISK OF NEVER RECEIVING WHAT YOU ORDER.

    We ordered our 'black' cover seven weeks ago and were never able to use it. We removed our current black cover on our boat and opened the new 'black' cover from National in order to install it. Upon opening, we were shocked to find it was white, not black as we ordered. We immediately decided not to install the cover. We could not even try the boot for the cover because it was too small to fit the dimensions of the cover we ordered.

    We ordered a black cover from National to match our boat colors and didn't receive one. They refused to refund or exchange our purchase, not honoring the satisfaction guarantee. Their customer service is hired out and won't help you at all.

    My warranty claim number is W006114 from Miramar Fl. 33025 954/431-0009 I bought my (1st cover) lasted less than a year they replaced it got my (2nd cover) lasted 14 months, that one lasted a year then paid and upgraded to the 7year warranty eevelle cover got that cover lasted 15 months. they ONLY REPLACE 1 PER PERCHACE!!! and said that is it. what a waist of MONEY dealing with them!!!!!!

    Windstorm Cooltech cover

    I needed a new cover for my Bayliner 170 Bowrider and looked on several sites. I found a cover on National Boat Covers that they call "Windstorm Cooltech". It is suppose to keep the interior of the boat cooler while the cover is on. The cover fits like a glove. Material is waterproof but it has vents sewn in to prevent moisture build up. Not sure about how much cooler it keeps the in side of the boat but it does a great job of keep the interior dry.

    Boat Cover

    They don't stand behind there warranty. My cover was the best material they had available. Had a 10 year warranty and it was less than two years and started to rot. I sent pics but they said it was puncture holes. Wanted me to send in for inspection which would cost me 200.00 for shipping because it is so heavy.Would not let me send a swatch of the fabric.Do not waste your money with this company.

    Never buy again from this company BEWARE

    The Pontoon cover we Ordered cost 791.00 It did not even come close to fitting. I tried several different ways and pulled as hard as I could still wouldn't fit. they say if the cover is marked or has dirty spots on it they will not take it back. well trying to get it to fit caused dirt and marks on it. Also the support system they sell to hold the cover from water collecting on cover is about as useless as t*** on a boar hog. It tore before I ever got it together. Will never buy from this company again and I suggest no one else buys from them either. RIP OFF!!!!!!!

    Poor fit, terrible customer service

    I purchased a cover from National Boat Covers last fall and it arrived as expected in less than a month. Because the boat had already been put away for the winter, I didn't worry about it too much. Next spring, I put the cover on the boat and it not fit at all! Contacted customer service and they said "too bad, 30 day maximum return policy". Tried a second time, got the same response, then they didn't/wouldn't reply to my concerns. No idea if the cover is good quality because it DIDN'T FIT and I had to go BUY ANOTHER ONE!

    It's funny that only good reviews show up on their web site (Probably employees). The company does not back up the warranty at all. Buyer beware my RV cover had rips and holes in it with in 2 months of putting it on. My RV is shielded by my house on one side and trees on the other. They denied my claim and said they would send out some patch kits. Right on 17 tears and holes what a joke. The company is a joke and anyone I know will not purchase anything from this company. They tease with cheap prices and deliver garbage SCAM ARTISTS

    Be Aware

    Bought bimini. Didn't like it. The canvas had a loose sloppy fit. Could not return to company. Phone que long, email useless. Contacted BBB to get some help. Finally got Return Auth #. Sent bimini back last week. Still no response from company.

    NOT what I ordered......waited over a month

    VERY unhappy regarding my order placed mid-July 2018. It was for a pontoon bimini top AND a playpen (enclosure). I believe what I received was NOT what was pictured on the website and they are insistent it was what I ordered. (my bad for this one, because I didn't recheck my order against the order confirmation immediately sent to me). However, I waited over a month from order date to receive something that was supposed to be a) custom order b) out of stock c) they overlooked it on the original order d) supplier couldn't get that color anymore. So I then said, okay....different color; it was "in stock" and ready for immediate shipment. What story it the correct story? When I finally received and it's not what I expect, they are saying they will only credit me what I was charged (which they are saying is $50 less than what I was actually charged). Unfortunately, their order confirmations do NOT have a breakdown on pricing, so if they are only willing to credit me $150; then that means I OVERPAID the 1st part of my order by $50 from their advertised price on the bimini top that I ordered. Also, have been advised I will have to take up the return shipping cost and restock fee with returns department. VERY UNHAPPY.....BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL!
