Used this programme in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and UK. Light, easy to use. I had a problem with my Windows complaining about ESET, I got reply in few hrs from ESET support team that I had to install Eset4 version. It works nicely now and is friendly with 32 win vista.
Found every virus... I would say in the combination with free Lavasoft, you need nothing else. I had Norton before... that was heavy on the system with worse results. As Antivirus I think it is the best on the market, when it comes to spyware, adware... Lava would be slightly better. To be fully satisfied I recommend:
Eset for viruses
Lava for spyware
CCleaner for other crap.
The last two programmes are free. So, now going to buy it for another year,two... Strongly recommended.

Nice All-in-one Security Solution
I didn't want to spend a lot of $ to protect my new touchscreen Asus Zenbook UX31A. After researching my options, ESET Smart Security was the best reviewed security suite at the best price (figuring in the coupon discount). I wanted anti-spam to filter out emails, and this product has it, and I needed anti-theft/recovery, and ESS has it as well.
I'm playing Torchlight 2 right now and don't have the weird pausing problem I had before when I was using the free Microsoft Security Essentials. Frame rate at 1080p was crappy, but once I brought it down to 1366x768, and turned off some eye candy, it ran great.
If you have a premium ultrabook I certainly recommend ESET Smart Security.

ESET Coupon Worked
Searched around for a coupon for ESET Smart Security and located it here. Being a single mom I really have to try and save money and the ESET Security discount will really help. I have three teenage kids, each with their own laptops. My son has already installed the software. I feel a sense of relief that we're using a proven solution to protect our family versus malware.

According to my benchmarks, ESET vs. Microsoft Security Essentials = no contest. I've been testing out MSSE since it was in beta. It's a good product especially because it's free. But in the end I'm sticking with NOD. It costs money but it's worth it for the the extra fps and responsiveness. I like Microsoft, Windows 7 rocks! But I'll be sticking with ESET.

NOD32 and Battlefield 3/Modern Warfare 3
Purchased and downloaded ESET NOD32 v5 with the promotional code discount. Running it on my Sandy Bridge i7-2600K with Sapphire 6950 (more like a 6970 since I unlocked the extra shaders with an easy flip of the switch). Max/Ultra quality setting with no slow down at all. Smooth and pretty. I guess all the acclaim of ESET antivirus not slowing down gaming is not a secret rumor that is untrue.

ESET Smart Security 5 Thoughts
I upgraded from ESS4 to ESET Smart Security 5 (took advantage of the 25% off) for our family. Here's what I think. My son "accidentally" downloaded a file infected with a trojan horse, and ESS 5 was able to block it no problem. I've had some email viruses blocked by the AV as well. Speed-wise I didn't notice any improvement over version 4 which meant you don't feel a slow down or anything. I had tried the free Microsoft Security Essentials and even on a quad core AMD PC the CPU at times can spike to 90% when I'm running Firefox and the AV at the same time. That was the reason why we went with ESET, but thus far I'm not sure if we really needed to upgrade to v5. If you are a new user then yeah ESS5 is a nice choice, but if you already have NOD32 4 or ESS4 it might be better to wait until 6 comes out and see if it offers more features.

I have been using ESET NOD 32 for approx 5 years now , on recommendation of a It manager. I have had no problems with viruses in that time and the software is so unobtrusive compared to the Home pc virus protection standards.

I have used Smart Security for the last 2 years and it has been faultless. It hardly makes any difference to the performance of my PC and I hardly notice it until I use someone's dodgy USB stick and get notified of viruses. Totally safe. Totally easy. I recommend it to everyone.

I have Eset Home Edition. Since using it three years ago I have not suffered a single virus. A slight irritation with it is that the start up scan takes a ,long time and slows my computer down considerably whilst it is in progress. Generally Eset Support are prompt and helpful, however they did not reply to my email about one particularly involved problem I had and it is expensive to contact them from abroad because they only publish an 0845 telephone number - although they do have a "normal" number for support which they will disclose on request via email.

I have used it for 4 years and I am getting it for my moms computer now. I like how it is constantly updating and how it gives me warnings and updates when something has been found. It is very efficient and I recommend it to everyone.

ESET Smart Security 4 is the best complete system protection software there is, hands down, i have been using this product for about 4 years now starting with NOD32 on up.Never had a single infection to date, knock on wood. keep up the good work guys.

Very Impressed - I downloaded NOD32 AFTER I got a nasty virus that couldn't be removed by a clean OS re-install. Took several scans but NOD 32 consistently got rid of worms and bad files on my system. Sent in a couple of emails and got instant response through customer support, which was refreshing after other companies attempts at customer support. I'm pretty happy with NOD32.

Eset is what we all hope for - scanning which is optimally updated on an ongoing basis and detects/blocks things before they become a problem. This includes ad-ware, spy-ware, and viruses of all kinds. Not only is it effortless -- it is slim and trim -- NOT a RESOURCE HOG, like others whose names you may recognize or come preinstalled to a new system for that 30 day trial....
This is not only the perfect program for keeping your notebooks and netbooks light weight -- it works wonderfully for desktops systems as well.
I am unemployed and tried another vendor who promised similar protection for FREE....it is too painful. I could not even go 30 days with it...I am back and investing in this wonderful software once again. It is perhaps the only thing that if it seems too good to be true - - it is - but in the very good way. Just congratulate yourself that you were pointed to this software and install it sooner than later. You will not regret it!

I've used ESET Smart Security Home Edition for two years now. A friend of mine used to download free versions of other PC security for me off the internet. I would always run into problems. He then recomended this product. I haven't had any problems in the past two years. The warning and isolation system has been great. I suspect limiting my kids' use of my computer hasn't hurt either.

I've been using E-Set Smart Security for 3 Years now have found it to be very effective at blocking viruses and malicious spy-ware from my XP based PC. Very light on system resources hardly know its running.I highly recommend it.

I have been using NOD32 for about two years now, and with the exception of the one time I left it off like an idiot, it has protected me through thick and thin. I go to college online and have a tendency to browse the more shady sources on the internet, but this system has kept me protected even when I thought I was sure to be infected. For anyone who is considering an anti-virus solution I want you to seriously think about this. Do you want your computer to take 10 minutes to turn on, and then be less protected, or do you want the best protection this side of Venus? If the answer is b, then you HAVE to pick eset. This software was suggested to me by a well known hacker with serious connections. Norton aint holdin %$#%.

My Thoughts on ESET
This is good av software that tends to be more proactive & speedier than the others. Support is great. Got it to enhance my PC's performance in Windows 10 vs using Windows Defender. IMO it is worth the moola. Sometimes it goes on sale so that's when I let my coworker buddies know. Two of them have already installed on their home computer.

I've used ESET for 4 years and really like it. Reviews say it's difficult to use, but I don't find that to be the case. I've tried other products but find ESET allows my computers to run their fastest while protecting them at the maximum. I even try to convince others to try it. Loving it. ###-#####913

Without a doubt one of the best Antivirus in the market, it has kept my pc's trouble free for a long time. Using minimal resources, you don't know it's there until you need it. I would recomend it to anybody who asks about it.

ESET Nod 32 is the bomb! It runs lightly and quietly in the background. I feel secure browsing the net. I heard about it on the Tech Guy show. Leo LaPorte (gee I hope I spelled that right), suggests it for home and business. This will be the 3rd year I am a happy customer. Thanks!

I have been running Eset in one form or another for several years now and am so immpressed that all my family and extended family members and friends are using it too. It is not a system hog and when it comes to security, I think it is bulletproof.

Eset is a great product. It is the most efficient anti-virus program, as it uses very little of your system resources, unlike McAfee and Norton which are system resource hogs. That's the last thing you need in a anti-virus program.
