I have used this product on a pc that I purchased and it already had it expired. I also replaced norton antivirus that was installed on that pc with comodo fwall and avirus. Comodo for some reason likes to take up lots of cpu on my dual core 2.8 ghz mach.& some reason it won't auto start up at boot.I usually 4get 2 turn it on but I only installed it aft 2of my other machs had it success4lly runnin aft abt 2 yers which I sld them 2 get anothr laptop. Perhaps Comodo messed up their most recent package or somethin b/c previous progs were no prob.
Anyways, getting back 2 this I had it runnin all the time w/ comodo (when app was already runnin + that's prob about 40 % of month as 4 I usually 4 2 turn on since doesn't auto load under settings . Whn Comodo would run it would find stuff sometims & whatnot bt I hav found that Spysweeper was bout minute fastr @ findng things (evn be4 they are done dl) unlike comodo did it sometimes bt most time it only found stuff @ manual scan. Lots of tims webroot would find things that comodo wouldn't find though. I am purchasin a3 yr subscrip 2 webroot spysweeper with av because it provn itself 2ba great prodct & evn seems 2run W/ another av (computer originally came w/ norton & avirus & spysweeper webroot). Replaced norton w/ Comodo avirus & fwall & alls well. Since I usually forget to turn on Comodo anyways, Spysweeper & avirus frm webroot is always thr 2 protect me since it auto loads @ start up.:-) www.emule-project.net, November 30, 2009

I will never purchase anything from Webroot ever again. I have had the same three problems for the past three months and I cannot get past the first level of customer service who really cannnot diagnose anything beyond the most elementary. The hold music is torture and in between you have to listen to offer to upgrade to paid service to save you from the wait.
I have already paid Webroot and now I would actually like to have the products work, smoothly, seemlessly and not cause me to have to call and spend 8 hours over three phonecalls, with NO solutions. Just hold and an incrediby rude tech who disconnected me after arguing with me for 10 minutes. I am looking for every possible complaint website I can find. Casey, September 1, 2009
