Bad Customer Service

I have experienced terrible customer service in the Vitamin World Store #4911 in Tulare. I was waiting in line to pay for my products. When one of the cashiers completely ignored the fact that I was in line and attended another customer who was not in line. When I told the cashier Rocky, that I had been waiting in line. He responded in an arrogant manner that they had a system in which he could not attend me before taking care of a different customer first. To which I responded he could have acknowledge me as a customer since I had been waiting in line. I told him I have experience in customer service and Rocky was not providing me with it. After this Rocky directed with my sister in a very rude manner and asked her "Is there a problem". This made me as a customer feel very uncomfortable. After this experience I will never come back to this store.

    I started taking the ultra mega men's vitamin Oct.3. I started developing a very painful red blotched rash. I am not exaggerating either. The rash was always irritating, more so when I would exercise. I had no clue what was causing it; I figured it was some rash I caught outside or in the gym.

    I went to one dermatologist (sorry about spelling), he said it was some rash that cowboys get when they are in the sun to much. I thought that sounded weird, so I went to another derm. and she said to stop all vitamins and herbs for a month. So I did,and within 2weeks rash was fading rapidly.

    The first thing I started back on was the ultra mega vitamin, and one week later I started my protein. Soon after rash returned, and I knew it was not the protein. So I stopped the ultra mega vitamin about a week and a half ago.

    Rash Is diminishing quickly.

    I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that it is this quack vitamin they sold me. I asked for a refund without my receipt, and was told I could only receive half of my refund.

    I would have been more than happy to show proof I went to two Dermatologist, but was not asked to do so. I don't blame the Mgr. at all. It is the company's policy.

    I will say this one more thing; the manger did offer a full in store credit. What do you think. Do I deserve a full refund .

    NOTE: I had this rash at it's highest point for two months.

    I am a very unhappy customer.

    Placed 3 orders with VitaminWorld.com. The 1st one was mischarged and partially shipped. The 2nd one was canceled without any notice. The 3rd one was again mischarged and almost partially shipped(before I canceled it).

    The website is a total mess. Don't risk your time and money there.

    I have been buying their products on line for quite a while (I live in Spain) and so far they have been excellent. The only complain is that it takes a rather long time for the products to reach me, but, of course, that might no be their fault.

    The VitaminWrold store in Lincoln City, Or. has an extremely friendly staff.

    From the warm reception the moment I entered the store, to their final offer of any addtional questions or help, my shopping experience was excellent. I will shop in that store whenever I am in the area. There were 3 people in my group all shopping for different vitamin needs. Each one of us commmented on the knowledgeable information and great service we received.

    We have all switched to this brand for our future purchases. Godd job & we appreciate the employees committment to service.

    Posting in regards to the rash of the vitamin. Most multis contain niacin which is a B vitamin. The most common side effect is rashes or flush feeling and redness. Some sports nutrition supplements also have it. Some people are allergic to niacin and get rashes. My feeling isn't so much that that brand of thy vitamin was a quack as you are probably just allergic to the niacin. It would be nice if the doctors would actully know what they are looking for rather than just say stop taking it. I would go to a real deremitoligist have have them give you tests to see what you are really allergic to. That info may come in handy for future supplements.

    I bought from the VitaminWorld website over $100 worth of fish oil and omega 3 DHA products because they were on sale. The order came pretty quickly. If they would stock more "advanced" products such as Resveratrol (they only have a 50mg product) and Curcumin (also only one concentration) I would actually shop from them more often.
