I have been very satisfied with the TradeKing service overall. They have been very helpful and quick to respond when I had questions. I'm new to stock trading, and thus far I've been impressed with the number of helpful hints and tools provided to me on the site. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5-star rating is that today I'm having trouble accessing the site. I'm a computer technician, and have the know-how to verify that it's actually their site, and not my service provider or my several computers that are acting up. Today the site is giving me a lot of time-out errors and making it very difficult to trade. I've been using the service for two months now, and this is the first time I've been disappointed in any way.

I wanted to look for another brokerage since I was using OptionsXpress and was getting an oddball "Insufficient Intra-day Buying Power" message. Apparently your buying power is limited to your buying power at the beginning of the day if you are using a cash account and not margin. I never use margin for stocks but come on this is silly. Plus their commissions are like $15 a trade. After some research I've decided on Tradeking. I will update once my account is fully open and everything working.

I switched from another brokerage about 6 weeks ago and so far I've been really impressed. My trades execute quickly. Sometimes when I make big trades with my old brokerage it gets held up. One time my order even got "stuck" where I couldn't even cancel it. I haven't encountered such a problem with Tradeking yet. Good service so far.

my old brokerage charged me $100 for transferring away from them to tradeking, but tk was cool enough to reimburse me for that. after using the tradking platform for a month now i can see it's by far the best one i've used. it's really intuitive and responsive. unless they screw up majorly i'm going to be a tradeking customer for a long while.

I've used Tradking for about a year now and haven't had any problems. Granted my portfolio has taken a big whopping but guess what I'm still buying with new cash. ((( warning )))Tradeking cost me alot of money. they allowed me to buy stock but would not let me sell it. when I went to sell, the order was rejected. It took me 3 days to unload MGM by that time I had lose over a dollar a share. when I called Tradeking and told them to sell my stocks they would not sell them and the stock was falling.It took about 45 min. of pleading with them to sell my stock before they finally did.

I've had my TradeKing account for a year and I like it. The trades are cheap- half the price of Ameritrade, plus they go through fast. I trade some options and their research tools are very helpful in that arena. The only downside is that they don't have physical location branches where you can visit, but I've never found the need to.

Switched from TDAmeritrade to Zecco a year ago. Just tried TradeKing and love it so much better. Great tools, especially for options. And it winds up being just as cheap. Love that broker assisted trades by phone are still only $4.95! Love TradeKing.

tradeking is the best brokerage i've ever used, bar none. easy to use website, great discounted commission rates, and friendly CSR department. they don't even charge extra for broker-aided trades. i recommend traders give it a shot. it's a good company.

I use Tradeking and it's very solid. The trades are cheap and the performance is fast. I'm a novice to trading options contracts but these guys make things pretty simple. One thing to watch out for is that ACH transfers takes a while to clear, so don't be expecting to starting trading the day after you initiate the money transfer.

mmmmm this looks like a tempting offer- $4.95 a trade. I currently use Ameritrade which is $9.95 per trade. Compared to TDAmeritrade, Tradeking also seems to have really low margin rates of only 5%. If you have over $100K Ameritrade gives you a better money market yield (you'll have to call them up and ask for it) at 2%. It looks like Tradeking gives 1.12% currently. Also if you have Apex level with TDAmeritrade you do get perks such as free wire transfers whereas Tradeking doesn't seem to have that. There's my little TradeKing vs. TDAmeritrade- now should I transfer my account or not???
