Buyer's Remorse

I've tried to contact shapefx fo over a month regarding a purchase. There is no phone service and all I get is a from letter e-mail response. Meanwhile, I get daily e-mail offers for other products. I will never use them again.

I was getting ready to take a vacation that included a stay at a water park. I knew I needed a new suit and found ShapeFX was having a sale. I found a suit I LOVED which is hard for me. Other customers wrote that the suit was flattering and true to size so I went for it. I checked the shipping dates and made sure I had plenty of time before my trip (they said 3-7 business days) 9 days later I called because according to the computer there was no shipping info available on my purchase. To my shock, the customer "no-service" agent told me that this item was PERMANENTLY unavailable and that my credit card had not been charged. WHAT? I leave in 2 days. I asked her why I had been allowed to place the order if this was the case. Silence. I asked why I had not received and e-mail or phone call to let me know my order was not coming. To this question I got, "I do apologize." I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! A first time customer turned into a never again, never in a million years, I will go naked first customer.

Impossible to find out the status of my order

I ordered 2 swimsuits, which were "in stock" and Shapefx run the authorization on my account. I could see the charge of $117.75 on my statement. 10 days later, when I expected to receive my order but did not, I tried to find out the status on Shapefx.com. The info I received was there is no information for my order!?!?!(I have received the order confirmation with the order number when I originally placed teh order). I tried to call the ONLY number they provide, 1-800-533-5696, about 50 times within 2 days, and the call could not go through - every single time I received a message "Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please try your call later". I e-mailed CSR and received an automated response that they'll get back with me within 24-48 hours. After checking the charge on my credit card account, I was surprised to see that the charge for $117.75 has been removed?!? What is going on with this company? I will NEVER again order anything from them; there are plenty of other online retailers who care about their customers, because, guess what - they stay in business as long as they have loyal customers. Shame on Shapefx.com!

THIS COMPANY HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!!

On December 15, 2011 I placed an order with ShapeFx online for 2 items of clothing in the amount of $67.95. I received a confirmation email from the company on the same day, but have not received my order nor any follow-up emails.

I have emailed the company twice with no response. I have called "customer service" twice in the past 2 months and have received no satisfaction. They are unable to tell me anything about the status of my order. They have NO information whatsoever except that they acknowledge that I placed the order.

There is something fishy going on there.

The really irritating part is that EVERY DAY ShapeFx sends out marketing emails urging people to make a purchase. If they can't fill my order from 2 months ago, why would I order from them again?!!

They should not be allowed to keep selling merchandise that they are not able/willing to deliver!

I filed a report with the BBB and suggest you do the same. I will also post this wherever I can to help warn other consumers.

    Stay Away from ShapeFX

    Placed an order since the item was in stock;

    I have sent numerous emails without response as to ship status. I have held six different times without pickup. Today I finally get a real person who tells me the order was cancelled. Do NOT order from this company. There is no Customer Service.

    Like others below I WISH I came across this site first! I placed an order over the weekend, had my card charged, and promptly received silence. Their numbers are disconnected and e-mails are falling into seemingly unattended inboxes. Checking on BBB today I found Mike Pedipot(sp?)'s Number: (800) 443-4856 and an F rating. I left a message, but have yet to hear back (shocker). Thank god I purchased this with my AMEX... it should be *relatively* painless for me to get rid of this ordeal.

    Non-existant customer service

    So far I have waited a month for my order. Called customer service three times, twice no idea and couldn't help. One time lied to about it being in the mail already. Weren't answer emails or let me talk to a supervisor. I don't think they have any. Never told anything would be late. Their customer service in non-existant. They would be a great example of what a company absolutely shouldn't do. A decent product can only keep you afloat so long. There will be losing their business unless they pay attention to it.

    Worst Online Company I've Experienced!!!

    I purchased two items on November 3rd, 2011, one of the items is swimming suit. They overcharged me, they were supposed to take 40% off the order but never did, so i called and complaint (this was before i even received my order). The customer service said that their system was down at that time and that i will get my money refunded. It's January 17, 2012 now and i still haven't received my money back. Secondly, my swimming suit i ordered was not like the items i ordered, they gave me wrong color, so i called them and demand no shipping cost to return the item, they gave me a code to put down so i won't get charged for shipping to return the item, but i got charged anyway of $6.95. And worst, is that i haven't got my money back for the swimming suit i returned. If you add the total money they owe me, it's over $30 and it's over two months now since i purchased the items. I called numerous times, they gave me excuses such as "oh, our system is down", or "our store is in the process of moving", that is some bull crap, i am sorry. I just want my money back that they owe me. And still my complaint has not been resolved to this day. I have made a written complaint as well but nothing's been done. Do not purchase from this company if you don't want to lose your money. I will never buy from this company again nor will i refer to my friends and family about this website. What a waste of time and money to shop at this place.

    Pathetic Company!

    Absolutely outrages company!

    I thought there swimsuits looked fabulous!

    Thought I got a bargain, as they were down to $10 each for a special promotion, so I bought 4! Had to sign up to myus.com, as they do not post to international customers, and myus.com is like the middle man who receives items, then posts them anywhere in the world. Cost me $10 to sign up, I thought - fair enough, $10 isn't much, its still a bargain for $40 for 4 swimsuits. Then myus.com says it will cost me extra to send, so im assuming maybe another $40 .. ok so that will be around $100 altogether roughly for 4 swimsuits, still a bargain I think. I ordered this back on the 11th November, 2011. Heard nothing, received nothing, my status on my order says "No shipping information is available for this product" Ok, so I assume their just a bit slow in updating it, so I email them just asking the status of my order ... hmm receive nothing .. so I leave it for a bit. I have a 5 month old daughter who keeps me busy, so I'm not too worried, but summer has started here in australia, so I cant wait to receive my only swimsuits I have ever bought, to go swimming with my family. So I finally email them again, this time a bit anxious, still receive nothing!!

    I haven't called them as it is an international number, and I cant afford to pay international charges on a mobile phone. But to me, they should get back to you through email. But I tell you right now, if this were an Australian company, I would be ringing them and ripping into them about their low life company! Trust me, I do not put up with companies like this one, I would contact the police if they were here!

    I don't care that I only spent $40, but I had to sign up & pay a company to deliver items that I haven't received!

    My options now are extremely limited, so all I can say is thank you Shapefx.com, you are a piece of low lives, and the last thing I need is to deal with your stupid company! I would say a lot of people buying off of them, are mums like me, who don't have time to go to the shops and search endlessly for swimsuits. We put our trust in you, hand over our credit cards, for what? To be mistreated! They should shut your bloody company down!

    OMG!!
    I am having exactly the same issue!!
    I bought 3 pairs, also paid to join myus.com and NOTHING!!
    There is only one contact email and it doesn't work!
    This company is STEALING people's money!!!
    They need to be reported, shut down and charged!
    This is criminal! Whatever you do- be warned and DO NOT BUY Anything from shapefx.com they are a complete con - a total theiving SCAM!

    Shape FX Overcharged!!!!!

    Ordered a bra on their buy 1 get 2 free offer, my total was $37.95. The next day my online banking statement read $95.95 from SS Newport News. I contacted my bank to see who they were and they gave me their phone #. I called and was told that they only process the orders for Shape FX and they would pass the issue to the corporate office. I never heard from them!!! Then found this site and realized that they are the same company and they have cheated and lied to many customers. Now I have to wait 2 billing cycles to get my $58 dollars back. I'm not holding my breath. My rating for this company is 0!

    HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!

    As I write this review, I am still waiting for someone to pick up the phone and I have been holding for 18 minutes. I ordered a convertible control wrap dress on Monday, July 25, 2011. I have still NOT received my order. I've sent numerous emails and countless phone calls since August and still NOTHING! This is wrong and they should not be allowed to get away with this rubbish. I am going to report them to the better business bureau as soon as I am done with this. I would rate them a 0, but that is not an option. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SHAPE FX!

    ShapeFX has filed for bankruptcy

    We ordered two suits in June because we were not sure what size would be right. We promptly returned them. We got a notice that they have filed for bankruptcy and will NOT honor any credits until they go through the bankruptcy court. We may or may not ever see our money. You may want to shop elsewhere

    Horrible Company

    I ordered a apir of jeans thru this company. I received them but they were too big. According to their policy it is a guarantee fill out the form and return it it for an ecxhange or refund. I returned the package the very next and verified thru my tracking number from UPS that the package was received back and signed for. I continually call the only number available ANYWHERE 800-533-5696 and continually either get a busy signal or all circuits are busy. I have tried many times throughout the day and night and get the same outcome. I have tried calling from different phones so I know it is not my phone with a problem. As of today I have yet to be able to get my requested refund or get thru to them to find out the status. It has been a month now. I continually get emails from them though wanting me to purchase more items. Forget that. I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. According to them they have an F rating and there are a couple of other complaints with them as well. I will never work with this company or any other company affliated with them if they get their merchandise from them. Good luck to everyone who is having problems with this comppany.

    Horrible customer service

    As I write this, I have been on hold for over 1 hour and 30 minutes. Last night, I gave up after 1 hour and 45 minutes. The clothes run small-small-small. I guess that's the idea behind their company -- stuff yourself into a dress that's too small and you'll look smaller -- REALLY??? When you try to return the items, it takes weeks and weeks and weeks to get a return. When you try to call to check on your order, you're on hold FOREVER! Horrible, horrible company.     Large company appearance, not in truth. Paid $10 to ship their error back to them. Took 3 weeks after ordering to receive the product with express shipping, took 4 weeks to receive a refund after returning the product. Shipping costs were removed from the refund for both here and back because shapefx sent a maternity product to non-maternity order.

    Why are there no other sites taking opinions on this storefront?

    What Happened??

    I have ordered from this company twice in the past and never had any problem. I ordered some items seven weeks ago and still have not received them. I contacted customer support three weeks ago and was told the warehouse had moved and that my order would arrive by the end of the next week. Thursday of the next week came and I still hadn't even been charged so I called to cancel and was told they could not do that over the phone. There is no way to do it online, so I basically have no control over this situation. I have no product, they have no real customer service, and I am upset. I ordered online so that I wouldn't have to fight the Christmas crowds, but really I could have bought pants and leggings anywhere by now except that my money is tied up waiting for them to get their act together. DO NOT order from this company. I certainly won't do it again.

    Terrible Company Wish I could rate as "0"

    I wish I had read these posts prior to ordering! I ordered Nov. 21st 2011 (***6468)and have still not received my order. I have called 3 times and e-mailed. I get the same run-around each time..they moved warehouses, it's pending, etc. I was even told that "others who ordered before that haven't received theirs yet either" as if that justifies it and makes me feel better! I am so disappointed and am not sure what to do other than file a complaint on BBB and/or Angie's List. I was excited about the things I ordered for myself and the Christmas gifts I bought, but now it's been 2 months and I still have nothing!! I wish I could see their 'warehouse' and 'office' because I am pretty sure it's the same woman who answers every time I call! I am not sure what to do now..I asked for a refund, which has never happened and I still don't have my items! Terrible Company

    Customer Service is HORRIBLE

    I strongly recommend you go anywhere but here for shapewear. CUstomer Service will not respond to emails - they reply that it will take 24-48 hrs to get a response - I have been waiting 9 days. Their phone number and fax number are always busy. This is a bogus company.

    I bought a bikini that I had worn 6 times, and the back clasp busted leaving me topless on a Maui beach. When I contacted them, they told me to contact the catalog I ordered it from (why? the catalog company didn't make the suit) to get a tailor to fix it. Even worse, they didn't even offer a simple apology. HORRIBLE customer service, and bad quality control.

    Control Colorblock Dress by Shape fx®

    I am 27 yrs. old, 128 lbs., and 5'6. I ordered this dress in size 4 thinking that I was getting a fantastic deal. The dress was $109 on sale to $39.99....wow! I was excited when I got the dress and as soon as I took it out of the package I was surprised to find that the straps were longer than the dress!

    I put the dress and heels on and proceeded to tie the straps in several different ways but no matter how many times I tied the straps the dress looked horribly messy each time. To give you a good idea how long the straps were…….they touched the floor and more with 3 ½ in heels on (add that with my height and your talking seriously long STRAPS!!). I now know why the dress is on sale and why it was not pictured on a model at shapefx.com. I will be sending this dress back ASAP.

    Terrible service - returned an item using their UPS return label - it has now been 7 weeks after they received the merchandise and I still have not received my credit back. 1st call said will take 6 weeks, called 1 week later, now they say 6 weeks + 15 days. I will never order from them again!!!

    Watch out for their online ordering system. The "item has shipped" email you receive can indicate a higher total than the amount you originally approved.

    The customer service stinks. They owe me so much $ on items returned. THey say they sent out check, credited credit card, etc. never do. Then they stoop to say the items were returned. They give you coupon codes then charge you and say they were not vaild. YOu are on hold forever if you try and reach them by phone. THey say supervisor will return call and never does. Stay far away from this company- if you do not want to be out $.

    No merchandise, bad customer service, can't cancel orde

    I ordered 3 items on Feb 17, 2012: a lace bra, buy one get 2 free, and 2 swimsuits-- both back ordered until MARCH 2012. When I received only one bra, I called CS and was told that the bra was out of stock, though it was still available for purchase on the site. I was told a CS supervisor would follow up to resolve the problem, no one ever did. On my third call to CS, I learned that the swimsuits would be back ordered until APRIL 2012 (who waits 8 weeks for a swimsuit?!), and I could not cancel my purchase. And those 2 lace bras? Not going to happen-- ever. As of this morning, the website no longer exists, and along with it, my order. I will take this up with my credit card company. Avoid at all costs.

    BEYOND TERRIBLE

    I concur with every review on here about shapefx. I was absolutely shocked by their appalling customer service and internal operations. I made an order for the amount of $20, only to be overcharged at $30 dollars and then on top of that half of my order was missing!!!!! It somehow got 'cancelled' due to 'unavailability' despite letting me order the item and thereby implicitly assuring me of availability. I CANNOT believe they are still in business!!!!! It took me over a month and more than 6 phone calls in order to resolve the issue. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    I am appalled this company is even in business. There is no customer service, no order cancelled status notification. This is a sorry excuse for a company represented in the USA! BBB should shut them down!

    Don't waste your time and money!!!!!!

    Ordered from shapefx.com about 3 weeks ago. Gave them credit card info and everything. Never received any type of shipping confirmation or follow up email. Needless to say that I never received my order. But thank goodness they have not charged me YET! Have to keep watching my credit card statements though to make sure

    WORST company ever!!!

    This place is a major scam & like so many others, wish I had seen this site first. Yes, I will be in touch with the BBB too.

    Unprofessional "customer service" reps will tell you that they have no tracking numbers, and to be patient because they got bought out & they moved from VA to NC, blah, blah, blah....oh yeah, don't expect a call back from a manager. Still waiting for 3.

    Umm, I ordered in October & as of January 3rd still nothing. They claim that it shipped on Dec. 15th but really, 18 days to go from NC to NJ???

    Smells like BS to me!

    They are scammers & I don't expect that package to EVER arrive. How are they still in business?

    i have an update.....
    after calling, complaining & telling off a few customer service reps, my credit card was FINALLY refunded! I almost couldn't believe it.
    my order was placed in october and the amount was refunded in february, but hey, glad its taken care of. i have no idea what is going on at this company, and i'm mad that their site is still up and people continue to get ripped off every day, but i guess if you stick with it you may get a refund.

    I placed an order on Dec 1. By Dec 23 I had called them several times. I wanted to cancel. You CANT CANCEL. There is no option at all. They charged my credit card but have no idea when they will deliver the items. I am livid. They are a scam. They said they had to move their warehouse. What a bunch of bull. Yeah, move the warehouse during Christmas. I got taken and I want my money back. Im reporting them to BBB.

    Terrible service

    Placed an order on Nov. 27, and almost one month later it has not shipped. The e-mail link on their website comes back undeliverable when I use it and they say by phone that they are moving warehouse from Virginia to North Carolina--here at Christmas time no less, and will get my order out asap. At first they said it would be delivered by Christmas, but now they are back tracking on that promise.

    Needless to say, I will never order from them again. In the past, I have received adequate service from them, but it has been a long time.

    Don't waste your time with Shapefx.

    Want to give them a "0"

    I placed three different orders. Two were charged incorrectly. The discount code was applied online, but I was charged the full amount. I emailed twice, called three times, email address no longer works. I also retuned an item and never got credit. Now when I call I hold for 10 minutes and then get disconnected. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I have placed several orders, latest 1094950, they can't seem to read fill and honor their customers. I returned an item 3 weeks ago and still no credit! What else can I say? They send all these wonderful promotion emails and never fill orders! Call customer service, they say they can't check orders, cancel orders they can't even take orders.....so what exactly do they do? They can rake your name and number and email it to corporate, tell you that you will hat a call within 72 hrs that never comes! This company should be hung by the -----!DON'T ORDER FROM THEM

    Very bad company for shipping and for returns!!! It took almost 3 weeks to receive the leggings I ordered. I ordered according to their sizing charts and it was way too small and too short. I returned the them and re-ordered another style. It has been 3 weeks and I have not received my order. I called and they said they haven't received the package yet or it hasn't been processed yet. They said it could take 4 weeks!! I asked to cancel my order completely and they wouldn't do it. What a horrible company!!

    I will NEVER order from them again!

    There is a clause in the complaint for Shapefx that states: Items must be unworn with tags attached (swimwear must have sanitary liner attached). In other words, once you've worn it no flaw in the product makes it returnable!!

    I purchased a bathing suit from Shapefx wore it less than 10 times, after each wear I hand washed it, towel dried it and put it flat on a rack until dry. Each time I put it on it grew ... all the elastic stretched ... by number 5 wearing it was a rag. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.

    The wife bought a top and a couple of bottoms from these guys about 5 weeks before we were set to go on a cruise. Items were shipped promptly. The top was too small, so she sent it back for exchange the same week it arrived. Couple weeks went buy, nothing returned. Emailed customer service, got a prompt response telling us it takes a couple weeks for the process to go thru. No problem, still plenty of time. The cruise is now over and done with. It's been almost 2 months since we returned the item....nothing. Customer service has no ability to check/track items that have been returned. Every time they are contacted they tell me it can "x" amount of weeks for the return to be processed....always a moving target it would seem.

    I ordered two swim suits online. After receiving one bathing suit out of the order, and needing to return it, I decided to mail it via USPS overnight, with a confirmation signature. After receiving confirmation from USPS, I went on line to "track" my order. I have NO ORDER HISTORY AT ALL! I then waited on hold for a long time and found out that there was no way for me to find out the status on my order for 3 weeks. I asked her 3 weeks from when since they weren't confirming they had received the bathing suit back at their place of business. She hemmed and hawed and said I would have to wait. That was it. I have no order history on their site, I don't exist. My other part of the order has now been backed up another 1 as a backorder. That willhave been 2 months now for one suit. this is a horrible company to deal with. I order quite a few things online and have never had this experience. Get the word out, bad business practices. #7148 customer number (last 4 digits)

    I ordered the curvy fit jeans for in a 2P which was too short and the back rise is way too short.

    I am not going to go through all that hassle to return or exchange. The quality is appears as the product was manufactured in a sweatshop in Vietnam.

    I thought they had cute clothes at first, but the prices are much too high for the quality of the clothes. It looks really good in photos of models, but the description of a "mesh control panel" is deceiving because I thought that the item was constructed to make wearer appear slimmer. It just has a thicker feel across it and you can see the fabric looks thicker when wearing.

    I was almost about to buy their leather stuff but I am so glad I didn't because I have found better items at the swap meet.

    And it did take a very long time to arrive after ordering. One light item took about three weeks.

    I learned that shopping in the real world is generally the better choice for deals and satisfaction and customer service.

    I placed an order it was to small I sent it back for my money and they only sent me $9.20 on an order I paid $25.49. I cannot understand why they rip people off like that. I will NEVER order from them again.

    I recently ordered from this company and after a few days when I had not heard from them concerning my order I contacted their customer service by email. A few days later they notified me saying that my bank did not authorize my charge. I then contacted my bank which stated that no charge had come through from them. I then tried to contact customer service by phone and was on eternal hold. I again contacted them by email and then tried again by phone. I finally reached customer service which was dismayed as to why my order had not shipped. She confirmed as well that no charge had been placed. I asked her if she could make sure to get it to me right away since I had waited a whole week already for no reason. She then assured me I should receive it by the end of the week. I was notified today that in fact the shipment will not be here at the end of the week it will be next week before I get it. This is my first and last order with this company.

    Scam company

    I ordered products from them last year, after waiting months to get them, the products were awful, cheaply made. I returned them. I had a whole list of how many times I called, who I spoke with, they lie constantly saying they are refunding your money but they never do. I cannot believe this company is still in business. DO NOT ORDER from them.

    Pretty much the same as everyone else

    Made an order...got a confirmation...and then nothing.

    Emailed the company, came back as undeliverable.

    Called the company, customer service said order was "pending" and only the warehouse knew anything...asked to speak to the warehouse, was told that was impossible. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was told they would get back to me at their earliest convenience. Never did.

    Looked up business on Better Business Bureau...go figured, OUT OF BUSINESS!

    Shape fx is a fishy company.

    Take care when you order. The only thing they have that is any good anyway is the push-up leggings and I'm sure if you shop around you can find something as good or better. My last order seemed to be placed on back-order and then cancelled - all without my knowledge. But worse - I made a return and guess what?! They never received it!! Not sure what sort of operation they are running but my advice is - shop elsewhere-- most of their stuff is pretty shoddy anyway.

    REALLY??!!

    OMG - It's been 3 weeks since my order was placed -when I finally did call, there was a lot of noise, joking and laughter in the background from the other "customer service reps" ... Very unprofessional and not exactly reassuring! And still no solid answer as to why the products have not yet shipped, just a vague "they're on their way, ma'am". What a bunch of BS. They've got my $ - I'd better get my stuff soon!!
