I ordered my glasses on September 11, 2010. Per the SelectSpecs website they were mailed on September 24,2010. Here it is October 10, 2010, still no glasses. The SelectSpecs website states it can take up to 10 days for delivery but in most cases the glasses arrive before 10 days. It's now been 17 days, still no glasses. I send packages to the UK every year and the longest it's ever taken for a package to get to the UK from Iowa in the US is 7 days. I can't understand where my glasses are and why would it take so long? SelectSpecs should offer their customers their choice of mailing options because it appears to me that my order was sent surface mail, not air. I would have gladly paid more for postage to get my glasses in a more reasonable time frame. When and if I do get my glasses they may be the best pair of glasses I've ever had but because of my frustration with the delivery I will never order from SelectSpecs again. I will opt for another online eyeglass company. My order number is 140789.

I ordered Ermenegildo Zegna VZ3583 glasses on January 29, 2011...it is now February 17, 2011, and I have yet to receive them. You can view the status of your order for when the frames were ordered, lenses were ordered, when they are received, when the go through glazing (whatever that supposed to mean), etc. According to their timeframe, the longest anything should take is the shipping of if you have hi index lenses. It's been 17 days since my lenses were ordered, and they supposedly still haven't received them. I messaged them once and they replied back within 4 minutes, then I replied back to them and it's been 4 days without a response. So I messaged them again...still no reply. All they said was "your order should be completed just before the weekend or just after." I don't know what kind of operation they got going on, but none of it's working for me. If I see no progress in the next day, I am going to dispute though Paypal and my credit card company. I read other people's reviews before I ordered through them, but I thought I'd take a gamble because they had the glasses I wanted and hoped that everyone's situation was different. I was wrong...if this company actually does exist, it is the most mismanaged, slowest one I have ever dealt with. Avoid this company if you like good customer service, receiving your product in a timely manner, or even want to receive your product.
