I liked their clothes and they had good sales, ordering was easy, shipping was fast and well packaged but be cautious when ordering, do not accept any free offers, or free shipping. This bargain will cost you dearly. It is all legal but very unfair to customers. As with all online stores, even the smallest online order is followed with a confirmation email but don't expect to get one for this program that will cost you $179.40/year or $14.95/month. Apparently, Sahalie can give your credit card info to a third party but not your email address. You will only find out after being charged, unknowingly, sometimes, after a few months. My advice: boycott this store. If victimized, expose it, report it to BBB, State Attorney General, local tv stations, and share your experience with other consumers. What businesses fear most are bad publicity and loss of business. Please, remember that not all online businesses are like this. Don't punish the good ones for the deeds of a few unscrupulous others. I just ordered from them and was pressured to sign up for at least 3 different reward programs. If you weren't really listening to what the customer service rep said you'd be signed up for a Sahalie credit card, Reward program and Discount program, all at an additional charge to your credit card you were using to make the purchase. I find it interesting that every time I try and make a simple online purchase and use a promo code they've sent me I have problems and it doesn't work. I end up having to call. Once on the phone the bait and switch starts. I think this will be my last dealing with them. Sad because they do have cute, different clothing.

Sahalie monthly charge

I liked their products, which I bought as a Christmas present, but didn't know about the monthly charge and am having problems getting it canceled. I give the products a thumbs up, but this other thing is just a scam. Lack of a phone number on their website is a giveaway.

Another victim. I apparently signed up to their "rewards" program too, assuming that rewards were something positive that benefited the customer, not a monthly expense that stole $14.95 from your account every month. When I called to cancel, I was told I missed my "trial period" to cancel. I'm also supposed to have received a "trial packet" that explained all of this, which I do not recall seeing. Avoid this company, the stuff they sell can be purchased elsewhere.

I was stunned to find that they decided to rip me off through their so-called "Rewards Program." They enrolled me in the program without my knowledge, claim to have sent me mail telling me how to escape, and have been charging my credit card without my explicit permission. They have lost all honor, and I can no longer trust them enough to order anything from them.

Sahalie VIP SCAM - check your credit card for VIP charges

Sahalie VIP is a RIP-off and it is evident that it has been going on for a long time.. If you have ever shopped at Sahalie, check your statements for unauthorized recurring charges, typically $14.97 a month! I contacted Sahalie about this scam and they said they "are sorry you are having difficulty with the VIP program." I am not having difficulty with the Sahalie VIP Program. I never enrolled in this program; I am not a member. I am having difficulty with their company that is stealing from their customers by charging monthly fees to their customers' credit cards. I am not alone. An online search shows many others have been subjected to this scam by Sahalie. It doesn't matter that the card is managed by Comenity Bank; it is being promoted by Sahalie. And I do not even have a Sahalie VIP Credit Card!Sahalie has yet to refund the charges or take responsibility for them. I did not sign up for any service from Sahalie that automatically charges my Visa card $14.97 a month. Plus a $1.99 enrollment fee! What a joke! Why would I do that? Sahalie advertises for Sahalie VIP right on the first page of their website. Their site says, "Enjoy exclusive savings and rewards when you shop with Sahalie's VIP Credit Card. Safe. Secure. Convenient." Is this the source of the $14.97 charges? How did this end up being charged to my Visa? I didn't notice this on my statement because I have made purchases from Sahalie, so it did not stand out as something unfamiliar. Sahalie should be appalled, ashamed and apologetic to all of their customers. I have been a good customer and this is what happens? Is this what VIP means? Is the V for Victimize? Because that is what has been happening to me and many others for several years. How many Sahalie customers have never noticed this? If the Sahalie company has any integrity, they will separate from this program, research their customers' accounts and make reparations. How ironic that the advertisement for the card, on the Sahalie front page, says "Sahalie credit card accounts are protected against unauthorized and fraudulent purchases." How about fraudulent charges? How about fraudulent charges to unsuspecting people who do not even have the VIP card/program. We should all expect a full refund with interest. I have notified the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General for Oregon about this practice by Comenity Bank and Sahalie. If you have not, already, Contact the Consumer Protection division of the Oregon Office of the Attorney General and file a complaint.

    Sahalie rewards good customers with sneaky business practices. I'm another Rewards victim, but they've lost me forever. Who in their right mind would knowingly pay $15/month for FREE shipping. They deserve to go under fast!

    i had no idea that i was joining a reward programme. Usually, I am pretty savvy, but this one got by me and it was a few months before I caught on to this outrageous charge. I have demanded a refund.

    First of all the quality of the merchandise is terrible. I ordered 5 items and they were all so overpriced for what it was. One skirt I ordered I wouldn't buy fro $20 and it was $50. Returned everything. Second if you want to place an order you can "Call Anytime", but try to return merchandise and you need to call during their business hours. Ridiculous that they can't assist with that at Anytime also. I will never order anything from here again. Just stinks that I had to pay almost $30 in shipping. Don't waste your time! Hope I get my money back after some of the other stuff I have read.

    I am another long time Sahalie customer. I started with Early Winters. Yes, that long ago. My bank alerted me that I was paying repetitive monthly charges of $14.95. After going over many monthly bills I called Sahalie and spoke to their representative and was told I signed with "Sahalie Rewards". This is an outright lie! He took me off the "rewards" (to Sahalie) list. I told them I would NEVER do business with them again. I called my bank and told them not to process any more "bills". I am livid. What a shameless scam !!!

    Sahalie said they shipped my order on Nov 5. The tracking they provided showed the shipment sat in Ohio for 7 days and just 433 miles from my door. Their CS said it would take 11 days to get delivered even with a $11 shipping cost. It should take 2 days and be shipped for free. I marked Sahalie off my list. Their company reputation rests on their performance from their door to mine and they fail miserably.

    I was a loyal Sahalie customer for years but, after being ripped off by their "rewards program" scam, I will never do business with them again. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that don't try to steal $15/month from their customers.

    I had been a satisfied customer of Sahalie/Early Winters for several yrs. This past Nov 2008-I ordered Christmas gifts-one sweat shirt and one hoodie, and one lounge pants. Rec'd lounge pants-but hoodie was NOT in pkg even though invoice had it listed as included, alos the sweatshirt was backordered (color)-I had problems contacting Customer Service...got the "due to high volume of calls" excuse. I was able to finally get thru to a sales rep and I changed color of back order sweat shirt-rec'd that abour 7 days later. Hoodie NEVER came-you can't get thru to customer service....WHAT HAPPENED TO SAHALIE???!!! NEVER had problems with them in the past-now I would NEVER order from them again...I still get emails and sales catalogs from them...I loved their merchandise, but something tells me they are having financial problems. Customer complaints are high and nothing seems to be resolved. they once were reliable, but i wouldn't buy from them now. WHO runs this company? they are running it into the ground. I am sad to say-STAY AWAY from Sahalie! They would do us a favor by going out of business or sell it to someone who cares about the customer!

    Some of their products are okay but if you might have to return anything DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! 3 months to process a refund, they have done this twice. And only after I contacted them multiple times to get it. Absolutely ridiculous and they don't seem to care.

    Sahalie has great products, I love their butterfleece. After ordering some items I was signed up for their "rewards" program without my knowledge. They billed me $14.95 a month until I noticed it on my card. I never received any information to notify me how to use this program, they just took my money. For this they are a rip-off company. Sad. They lost a great customer because they stole from me.

    First of all, lots of nice styles but very over-priced. But worse is their terrible sizing! If items are running smaller or larger, they don't mention it. I have written a few reviews of items of clothing I have purchased, nice sale items, but not the proper sizing, yet my reviews never get posted. They pick and choose what reviews they want their potential buyers to read... BUYER BEWARE!

    Sahalie Rewards is a scam, pure and simple. Avoid the company, period. I have called and canceled their, so-called, Sahalie Rewards membership. I will also be contacting my credit card company to alert me if they attempt to make any additional charges to my card.

    From now on I stick with companies I know or those that I have researched in advance FIRST.

    I live on a fixed disability income and just noticed another $14.95 charge to my account by "Sahalie Rewards." This is just plain bullshit. I am disabled, but I was an engineer and can still read. Why would I sign up for a travel program??? I just went onto the Sahalie site and placed a fake order to find exactly when this membership scam takes place. Apparantly it is after the credit card number is entered.

    I have ordered from Sahalie and Early Winters for many years in Alaska and elsewhere where I have worked. I have always like the products I have ordered. Apparantly, the email "contact us" option is not working. An error message comes up, then a form for questions concerning existing orders comes on the screen.

    Early Winters was never like this.

    I too inadvertently signed up for the $14.95 rewards program. Some reward! I'm sure I missed the fine print when I checked a box asking if I wanted to save some amount on my next purchase when I made an online purchase. My bad, and worse, I missed it on my credit card bill for several months. When I finally realized that I had no idea what that charge was, Sahalie was decent about refunding it. They sounded like it was something they were used to doing. Sad that they're so desperate, and that they've lost my business because of this slimy and very ungreen 'rewards'program!

    Scammed by Sahalie Rewards program. I was signed up for this program without my concent and automatically charged 14.95 per month from my checking account for 5 months before I caught it on my bank statement. They offered one month refund of 14.95. I never received any type of communication regarding the Rewards Program via mail or email. No special offers or coupons. This has left a very negative impression of Sahalie and it's practices. i will not purchase from Sahalie again.

    Another VIP plus scam victim

    I have never had any problems with Sahilie before, but now one month after order #72706834 placed on 2014-11-15, I have a 14.97 charge on my credit card from their VIP Plus. I signed up for this discount club and was not informed of their monthly charges. After reading many other similar complaints on the internet this previously loyal customer from Madison, WI will never buy from Sahalie again. I can not understand why a reputable company would SCAM it's customers.

    Another victim. After placing an order from Sahalie, I received charges to my credit card for three months for $14.95. Their scam amounts to theft in my opinion. Do they think I actually approved monthly dedcuctions of $14.95 from my debit account? I NEVER received any information in the mail explaining these charges or what my "benefits" were supposed to be.

    When I mad a purchase- I was offered a discount. I never realized I have been being charged $14.95 for months because I make purchases and returns. Now I will have to try to get my money back. This is very frustrating- and I will not do business with this company again. Funny I just brought the catalog to work and told everyone there how great it is. Now I have to go and tell them this company is fradulent.

    I too unfortuntily was scammed by the Sahalie Rewards. I placed an order on line and did not realize I signed up for anything, although when I called to cancel and find out what it was I was paying $14.95 a month for (boy would I have to be spending money to think that it would make up for that monthly contribution), I was told material was sent to me, I never saw anything, but then again, i don't recall asking to be in the program in the first place. They are suppose to refund up to five months of the charges, I'll wait and see. I along with others will not be ordering from them again. I do really like the products, but I don't like involuntary contributions to their bank accounts.

    I ordered several Christmas gifts from them in December '08. I ordered 3 weeks early. At Christmas, when the items STILL had not arrived I called to cancel. The poorly trained customer service gal told me I couldn't cancel because the order was at the warehouse and she didnt know how to reach them (the order arrvied about a week later). So stupidly, I ordered a couple items from their online store again in July 09, because after the Christmas fiasco, they sent me a big apology letter saying they knew they screwed up. After waiting 3 weeks for the order to arrive, they shipped the wrong item (I mean, not even close!) I'll never, ever, order from them again. They really dont know how to get it right.

    It's bad customer service to ask for an email address to get a $50 coupon and then find that you really signed up for a $14.95 per month program that gives you absolutely nothing but a monthly charge. I will be calling in the morning to have it removed and STOPPED, what a SCAM.

    I was scammed by Sahalie, with their fraudulent "Sahalie Rewards" program. I never completed a sign-up for some program that would have discounted 15% on one order, and they enrolled me in a program that has deducted $14.95 from a bank account for the last 16 months (stupid me for not noticing sooner). This was an unbelievably fraudulent deal, and I'ms still trying to get my money back.

    Your website looks like completely well-meaning e-commerce merchandizing...but it's not. You are rude, accusatory, untrustworthy with information, and definitely unresponsive to the customer. Cancel everything, NOW! Boots on backorder. From other reviews Iíve read, I probably won't get them at all..so CANCEL, NOW! I do not want to see any charges, only credits on my credit card account. I have my State Attorney Generalís office on speed dial if I see anything, I mean anything on my credit card other than returned money for any real or anticipated purchases from your company or affiliates. Please delete any information you have with my name, my address, my e-mail associated with your company or affiliates.

    I had my credit card recently hacked so I check my charges daily. Two months after receiving an order I find a $14.97 charge from Salahie on my new credit card. It took almost an hour, multiple phone calls and was accused of signing up and receiving my VIP benefits. The charges were reversed and my bank is aware if any more fraudulent charges are being made from this shady company.

    Terrible Customer Service

    I ordered a number of items and to return almost all of them for size or color problems. I returned using the prepaid label and that was no problem. It took weeks to acknowledge the return and more weeks to reship. I tried 3 different sizes of one style pants and they still didn't fit right. I did get refunds on everything I returned but the whole transaction took way too long. I would never order from them again for this reason. Also, their pants did not seem to fit my body, so I'll stick with Lands End and JJill.

    Sahalie Rewards is a scam and should be illegal. Click on a popup window to save on a future order and they reward you with a $14.95/month charge for a rewards program that they never tell you how to use. Supposedly I can save on travel and other junk with it, of course they never told me I was signed up for it.

    I am heartbroken. I love their catalogs and their products are tip top. I will never, ever, ever order from them again. How can a company hate their customers so much they do this to them?

    I only noticed the charge because they charge every 28 days and there were two on one statement. I order so much stuff from Sahalie I never noticed the other charges. Disgusting.

    Worst customer service EVER!!!!!!! If you email to ask a question about why they haven't shipped your order, they will give you answers that don't pertain to the question. If you pay extra for rush shipping, they don't ship early like they say. I even got my order with the bag not sealed and part of the order missing. The packing slip said all items shipped, but the web site said an in-stock item was stocked and would be shipped soon. When I complained they said it was out of stock, though the web site still says it is in-stock. I would NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER buy from them again!

    The overall quality of Sahalia catalog is appalling. I used to enjoy receiving this catalog. It's embarrassing how cheaply made the clothes and shoes are now. This is obvious just from view photos in the catalog. I can't imagine receiving such merchandise. This is pathetic and sad to see such a decline.

    Received latest catalog advertisng "16 pages of sale items". Called the day I received the catalog, and the item I wanted was not even carried anymore. No resaon given as to why a no longer carried item was advertised. When I was transferred to customer service, the call was not answered due to "high call volume". This is one business that will be out of business soon, given their lack of service.

    The response from Sahalie is dated in 2009...it is 2011 and all the fraudulent scamming is still going on!!! PLEASE, EVERYONE use every social media known to you to report the fraudulent business practices being perpetrated by this company.
