I would agree with the negative posts here. I didn't even use Rush My Passport but was charged $150 by them. Granted, we did start the application and did provide debit card info. However, within 5 minutes of signing up (and not completing the application or necessary government paperwork) we found the missing passport. We immediately called Rush My Passport and left a message (this was a Sunday night, offices were closed) and then immediately e-mailed them, both messages saying we did not need their services, and please don't run the card.

As this was a Sunday night, it would be logical to assume they received these messages first thing Monday. They ran my card anyway, charging me $150 before we even completed the application process. When asking for a refund, they have been extremely rude and disrespectful (hanging up on us on several occasions) and only say that the money will be refunded in "15-30 days."

I have a bit of trouble understanding why they are able to debit my account within 12 hours but it takes them 15-30 days to credit my money back. I filed a fraudulent charge with the bank to dispute the charge. Never used their service, therefore should not be charged.

I would recommend staying away from this company. I did not even use their services, yet they have $150 of my money.

I am pasting in an Order Number 125723 from the first post here as I am not allowed to post with out an order number. However, as I never used these services, I was never provided an order number.

I live in New York and my order number 1609** was submitted for a rush delivery 24 hour service. I sent them all the documents for a Passport within 24 hours and they failed to process it in time. It has been 4 days and I still have not received my Passport. I had to cancel my business trip and lost the value of the $2,000 ticket. Additionally, I cannot get through to my designated agent and he wont respond. Finally, they refused to wave thier outragous fees even though the agent admitted via e-mail that it was thier mistake.

WILL NEVER USE THEM EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rushmypassports is a scam

DO NOT USE RUSHMYPASSPORT.COM! WARNING ! I wish I would have read some of these posts, YOU DO NOT!! Need there service, you can obtain a passport quicker than they can, simply go to the federal office in your local area, which they make you do anyway, give them the paperwork, then you can get your passport in two days. I must admit it is a very good scam, they do nothing for what you pay, please save your money and simply go to the federal office for passports, pay $60 bucks for either same day service or they can mail it, which you get the next day.

    Perhaps this person lived near a regional passport agency, so why would they go online? Who knows, not everyone lives near a regional passport agency or can afford to spend the day there and take their kids out of school or miss work. I guess it depends on how much your time is worth. Maybe the opportunity cost of a days earnings for this person did not equal or exceed the company's fee.

    I contacted them when I discovered I had misread the expiration date on my daughter's passport and she was leaving for Europe on a school trip in 3 days. I followed Sam's instructions to the letter. We drove 20 miles for a probate court to prepare the documents and sent them fed ex with the label provided. They charge for rush shipping both ways when in fact the envelope was held at the fed ex facility for a courier to pick up. Sam said he had found us an open "appointment" and assured us we would have the passport in time for the trip as long as the documents were all there. When I did not hear from them the next morning, I phoned my case manager, Teddy, and was told the courier did not pick up our package in time to process it with the batch submitted that day and the best they could do was get the passport to the airport an hour after the flight was scheduled to leave. When I told Teddy that wasn't good enough he proposed they return my documents by fed ex so that I could take them to the passport agency in Atlanta where he assured me I would walk out with a passport. Since I had another birth certificate, I went immediately to the passport agency in Atlanta and we had the passport in time for the trip. Everyone at the Atlanta agency apologized for the way we were treated by RushMyPassport. The passport agency in Atlanta has been open less than a year so many don't know about it. I believe an ethical service provider would have told me I had a better chance of going to the Atlanta office. If I had gotten the passport, I would not have an issue with them, but they put us at risk of not getting a passport at all.

    Customer was mistaken about date on the passport and is angry at us. We ask the issue and expiration dates at the point where we finalize the transaction, if the customer does not give us the correct information we have no way of knowing that the customer does not need us. I would strongly suggest that before anyone puts their credit card number on a website that you make sure you need our service. This customer has a credit with us for 6 months if they or someone else needs our service, so if you know them and need a passport, let us know. We will be glad to get it for you.

    Rush my Passport.... No Passport

    Order number 234229. Sent docs 31 days ago. still no passport. They say 24hrs???? now 31 days and still no passport. Worst month I ever had on the phone with them almost daily. All I heard was promises and lies. My three sons and their families left for Xmas holiday today. My wife and I will not be able to join them. Very bad company to do business with.

    Interesting, Saul. Since My wife and I used their service 2 years ago and our order number was in the 100000 range. I dont remember the exact number, but I do remember the number for my wife being 1 number above mine. I even asked the case manger about it (I cant remember his name) and he told me that they have had a lot of customers over the years and that the order numbers are consecutive.

    So unless you are making up a number (66267 is not one of their numbers from 2 years ago), it would apear you never actually used Rush My Passport. Maybe the reason you waited so long for a call from them was because they never had your order in the first place? Hmm?

    So how does it feel to trash a company that's helped so many people and not even have the right company?

    Just a note of thanks for a job well done!

    I've read through some of the earlier reviews and I'm also aware that rarely does a business or service get a positive review when things are done well or as expected. People are more prone to express negative comments when their expectations have not been met and of course can be very passionate in the process. So I felt it would be an injustice if I didn't express my complete satisfaction which I have personally relayed directly to the staff: Patrick and especially to the manager RJ who helped turn what started out as a nightmare in to a celebration! My son was scheduled to take his first solo trip with his girl friend to the Bahamas for her family reunion. We had made several inquiries regarding if a passport or birth certificate was required and was consistently told a certificate was sufficient. To bring this to a close, we found out 2 days before his departure that in deed a passport was required. I found Rush My Passport and started the process, in the meantime we realized that there still would not be enough time to get his passport in time for his departure. I spoke with the manager RJ who extended the effort to find a way to turn around the process and to get the passport back to us in Atlanta the evening before my son's 5am flight by using Delta cargo over the standard use of FedEx! Thanks to that extra effort we received the passport at the airport and my son was able to make his scheduled flight! I don't normally do testimonies, don't have the time or like you when a service performs as expected why bother! But I was compelled to acknowledge the good that was done and the joy that their actions and commitment created.

    Strongly advice people not to use this website to order your passport. First they rip off on the charge. It only cost $160.00 to make a new passport within 5 business while is website charge $200.00 and up. they also take too long to refund money and do stuff without your approval.

    It was a little confusing at first, especially due to some of the pre-written email statements which didn't always apply directly to me. However, my case manager was very helpful and patient, and once I got the materials sent off, the process was completed in just a few days. Thanks so much!

    I just got my passport form Rushmypassport and everything went incredibly smoothly. My case manager was wonderful and responded to my emails and phone calls within an hour (I called a lot because I was terrified it was a scam!) It is very expensive, but you've got to do what you've got to do when you need a passport fast! I would definitely reccomend Rushmypassport.

    I was very pleased with the Rush My Passport service. We completed my daughter's passport processing at the acceptance facility on 26 March 2010 and simply mailed the completed packaged back to Rush My Passport for further processing. We received the completed passport on 6 April 2010 in only 11 days. The price for this service was expensive. We had to pay the State Department an expedite fee and of course the Rush My Passport fee. I was told at the acceptance facility that the State Department would have gotten the passport to me in 14 days and I should have avoided the middle man to save cost. However, with that said, I am happy to have my daughter's passport in hand.

    Believe the claims - RushMyPassport DELIVERS! PJ Larney was a great communicator via email and the service kept me up to date with an auto-alert phone and email system. My renewed passport arrived in ample time for my diving trip. Albeit it's a leap of faith to send off your existing passport and trust things all work out in time but you will not be disappointed with this service. Happy Travels:)

    The only thing I was unhappy about was not getting called back fast enough. They prefer emails, but I like a phone conversation occasionally. If you do what they ask you to do, you get your passport very quickly with little hassle.

    Saul Hudson, I think that PROBABLY the reason why you never got a call was because you did not USE RushMyPassport. Thier worder numbers start with a 1, and are 6 digits long. Your order number is 66267? That is not one of thier orders. Even if you say that you forgot to add the 1 at the begining, 166267 is not an order number either. I've checked. Maybe you should contact the company you actually signed up with and yell at them.

    Honestly, I submitted my request through RushMyPassport in a panicked whim after I couldn't find my passport. I had to cancel my trip last minute. I found their site through another site, submitted all the necessary documents (8/18), and received my passport on 8/24. I began to freak out after reading some of the bad reviews online calling the site a scam, but I'd already paid, so I went through with it. I received my passport way ahead of schedule. I'd only signed up for the 8-12 days ($99), and I received my passport within 5 business days. Literally took them 3 full days with the documents to turn around my passport. I am very pleased. It is a huge relief to get my passport so soon before my trip. My agent was very calm and helpful (Rob). Although, he was hard to get ahold of at times. I would just leave him a message, and he'd call me back.

    I will follow up ift here any problems with the document in the future, but looks perfect to me.

    I called in a panic this morning because I lost my passport and needed it in 7 days. I spoke to a very knowledgeable person. I later found my passport and called to cancel the order. Another helpful person immediately sent me an e mail link to request a refund. I would use them again.

    GREAT service. Ordered brand new passport 06/15/10. Received passport and all documents (birth certificate/marriage certificate) 06/21/10. They assigned a personal pepresentative to my order number. He walked me through the entire process to get all documents ready to mail. I called three times and spoke to him each time. Tracked delivery of documents via FedEx. Received notification of shipment of new passport. My husband and I organize mission trips for our church and have used this service once before to get last minute passport for a teammember. They schedule appointments & hand deliver paperwork to passport office so once you agree to their services you are agreeing to pay for it. This type of service is not cheap but when you need a passport quickly it's worth it!

    I had to get a passport renewed and a visa for China in just two weeks. I am very demanding and want what I want, when I want it. I know that I put a lot of pressure on Joshua Bradshaw from Expedited Travel. He walked me through the process and called back when I wanted information. He was on top of everything. I would use them again. Excellent customer service!

    I don't know what everyone is talking about. I paid $200 to get my passport within 10-12 days. They received my documentation via fedex on 2/1 and I received my passport on 2/3. My rep was super helpful. I emailed him about twice a day with various questions (since getting the correct documentation and forms can be confusing), he always responded within 24 hours and was super helpful. I would def recommend to my friends.

    Rushmypassport cannot deliver

    We used their service and they did not get us our passports on time. You have to sign a waiver saying that they cannot control what happens at the Dept. of State so if they are backed up, they cannot deliver. But they take your money and WONT give it back! When we went to court, they had to change judges because it is a small town where everyone knows each other. The judge ruled in their favor. Surprise, surprise. Order numbers 83741, 83764, 83744.

    The only time rush passport.com should be used unless you live very far from a federal passport agency across the country there are few but your travel expenses will probably be cheaper to travel there then use their services.. They were very unhelpful and when I realized I could walk into the agency and get my passport expedited to me same day there I realized they are just a middle man and are getting paid to stand in line for you at the passport agency. After I took care of my own passport I tried to contact rush my passport many times and had no reply from my agent so a couple days I finally called their toll free number and let another agent know I wanted to cancel my order I then was transferred to the financial adviser she said she could not return my money for services because I had contacted them two days later then the amount of days allowed on the TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTRACT has stated even though they did nothing for me.. I tried to call and cancel multiple times and my phone calls were not returned I asked Tasha Lewis the financial adviser how as a person and a business women how she felt taking my money she stated she does not care should of read the terms and conditions.. Rushmypassport is pretty much a scheme and leach off people to survive as a company.. I advise if you do use them read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS carefully but it's better to just do it on your OWN!     This customer was given a full refund even though FedEx delays are uncontrollable by any company.He was assigned to one of our top passport specialist and given the same information that he had access to on the Department of State website where you look up the acceptance agents in your area. All of this occurred during the week of the 4th of July holiday when agents and the passport agency itself have limited hours. Customers need to review our terms before agreeing to them, and customers need to follow our instructions or they will not get the passport in the time agreed upon. For the record this customer placed two orders by accident, one of which was credited immediately and he received a refund on the other order, even though we were not at fault for anything. Please take this kinds of reviews in context as frustrated customers like to blame us for things we do not have control of. Our terms are on our website and we encourage anyone who does not understand our service or has any questions or concerns to call before entering their credit card and agreeing to our terms. I and other staff are here 7 days a week and look forward to answering any questions about our service. Thank you.

    Whatever you do... do NOT use rushmypassport.com to renew your passport!

    I am not usually a blogger/internet complainer, but I truly felt the need to warn other travelers of how big of a rip off this company is!

    I began the process to renew my passport with them on 2/28. I received an email stating I'd get a phone call from a representative within 24 hours. Never got a phone call. I called them the morning of 3/2 to see what the problem was. The operator answering the phone when she picks up says only, "hold!" before placing me on hold for 10 minutes. Little did I know, this would be the case EVERY TIME I called. I was finally informed that the consultant I was assigned to (David) was out of the office and I was passed to another consultant, Josh. Josh despite supposedly being in the office never picked up his phone. I called Josh 6 times that day and left 3 messages. Finally at 6pm I asked for a supervisor. Not surprisingly, the supervisor never picked up the phone. I left her a message and never heard back. Josh did eventually call me back that night and informed me that I would receive an email with the appropriate documents to FedEx back to them the next day.

    Got the email, authorized them to charge me $350 for the services, sent the package. Received a confirmation email stating my information was received, and that I would be notified when my passport was shipped out. Josh let me know I would have to pay extra to buy the rush service because my passport wouldn't arrive until the mornining of the 12th. I authorized them to charge me an additional $50 (bringing the total up to $400) in order to have my passport rushed to me. David finally called me 3/6 to let me know I should be receiving the passport on the 10th. Today is the 10th, and not only have I not received the passport, but I haven't received a confirmation email that my passport has been sent. I have called their God forsaken office 7 times today, left 4 messages for David, 1 for Josh, and 1 for Melissa. The other time I tried working with the vapid operator to see if she could actually be of assistance... she put me on hold for 15 minutes and told me no one was available. If they do not send my passport to me tonight I won't have it by 3/12 and will miss my trip. I put my request in 11 days ago. Rush my passport? Ha. I'll be lucky to ever HAVE my passport again.

    Worked like a charm for me. Received my passport in two(2)days!

    I was very hesitant to use this service based upon uneven reviews, but due to an important upcoming business trip I was left with no real option (my passport had expired)

    Here's my experience

    Initiated the transaction on Wednesday, March 17th. This included giving my credit card information and the card being charged.

    I called into the company an hour later because I needed to send everything out to them immediately because I was leaving on another trip (in the US) the following day. The receptionist told me that she couldn't help me, that I needed to wait and hear from the Case Worker who would be assigned to help me. She went on to tell me that she would try to get the Case Worker to call me ASAP but couldn't promise anything. Oh *&@$*% I thought, I've been scammed, or wouldn't hear from the Case Worker until later in the week which was no good.

    However, later that day she <Sabrina Meyers> called. I explained my situation to her and she was very helpful in expediting me through the process, the process being a series of emails containing all the information needed (Fed Ex labels, forms checklist, ect) By the end of the day, I Fed Ex'd the paperwork to their rep in Wash DC.

    I received email notification the next day (Thursday March 18th at 11:43) that my Fed Ex package had been received and the paperwork was being processed.

    Amazingly, the same day (Thursday March 18th, 7:00pm) I received another email notification that my passport was completed and being Fed Ex'd back to me.

    On Friday, March 19th I received my new passport as well as my expired one with the requisite holes punched into it.

    In summary, I had a great experience. My only concern is that my personal information (including SS#) was sent to a company/people that may or may not have any security controls in place.

    well, it is me again. I just thought i should make my story clear so people will not make the same mistake like me.

    On April 18 (Sunday)i thought i lost my passport so i went to rushmypassport to ordered a new one. i selected the option to receiving it within 2 weeks they charged me $263.00 plus $160.00 (which i have to pay when i turn in the form)

    the next business day which is Monday (april 19) i called them and cancel because i found the passport.

    they agree to cancel it and send me an email to confirm upon the cancellation. 8 days later i received a letter from the department of state saying that i can no longer use my passport because it was reported lost by rushmypassport angency. i called them and they all denied, they said it was not them who reported since i did not send in the form. So they did not take any action since i cancel the transaction right away.

    today i went to the local branch of the department of state to get a new passport (only $160 within 5 business day) so i asked them to verify who and when my passport was reported lost they told me it was reported lost on April 22 by one of the agency.

    Apparently,rushmypassport they reported. Because i did not called or mail anything to the department of sates myself.

    P.S since April 19 until now i still haven't receive my refund yet.

    DOT NOT USE THIS WEBSITE TO ORDER YOUR PASSPORT. call the department of sate .they will provide you a local branch at where you live to get it change/replace/apply for one. IT'S CHEAP AND FAST. THE CONVENIENCE PART IS IF THING HAPPEN YOU CAN AT LEAST TALK TO A REAL PERSON.

    This company has ignored and refused my requests for a refund after I canceled my order. Patricia in Accounting has hung up on me for the past week. Every time I call she pretends like I'm yelling at her when in fact he is talking over me. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she hung up on me. I also spoke with the State Department and they only take 2 weeks to get you your passport. I would not recommend using this company, and I would tell you to call Patricia: 561-337-1034 and tell her not to hang up on her customers.

    my representative RJ Larney was awesome! i was extremely nervous because i ordered my passport 2 1/2 weeks before i was to leave for aruba. i sent him a nervous email every day the last week, he was very patient and explained to me that everything was ok and that if there were a problem that he would let me know. i ordered my passport on 2/25/10 and received it on 3/10/10. it took thirteen days, and was right on time(i forgot that the weekend didnt count). i can not reccomend this website enough! everything was very easy and RJ was excellent!

    I would NOT use this company in any circumstances. They delivered my passport ontime and as promised but also charged my credit card with additional fees (for shipping) that I never authorized or approved. I am currently bogged down in legal wrangling with them to fight these charges. In no circumstances would I use this company. they are unethical and shady in the representations they make.

    Well u get what u paid for.its pricy but if you want fast service u got to pay the money.i needed a passport for an easter south america trip and the post office is not always reliable or a guarantee so i paid these guys 188 dollars for a 5-7 business days passport and i got my passport on the 5th day delivered on my doorsteps by fedex!i was full of questions and my case manager barbara gilroy was patient and understanding and guide me every step of the way!

    Despite what you may read otherwise on the web, RushMyPassport came through with flying colors for me. My rep RJ was informative and very helpful getting the process started. The websites materials and status updates were very informative and easy to follow.     felt a bit expensive, but it was worth it. good service, very thorough and most importanty very fast! If you need your passport quick and don't mind the fees, these guys are the way to go. (disclaimer: I didn't find anyone cheaper, so maybe these guys rates are just what it costs). I was suprised and impressed by the personal service and proffessionalism of their staff. Only complaint is they shut down at 4 PM pacific.

    Great Service, exactly as promised

    I used RushMyPassport.com's 24-hour service and can only recommend it. The whole process was smooth and easy. My documents went to the local Fedex Office at 3pm on Wednesday and my passport was delivered at 2pm on Friday, exactly as promised. I spoke to my service representative, Teddy, who was very helpful. When I called back with another question the agent that answered my call was just as nice. I became a naturalized citizen on Monday and got my passport on Friday which I think is pretty awesome. Thank you RushMyPassport.com for a great service that saved me at least 8 hours of driving and probably at least as much time waiting around for same-day-service at a passport office.     About 5 days before I was going to Europe, I opened my passport only to find that it was expired. I found RushMyPassport online and after looking into other companies I nervously selected RushMyPassport. Then, I started freaking outówhat if they didnít do the job, what if they were frauds? And I was sending these people my passport (the expired one) and a few hundred dollars (I picked the priciest passport renewal option to be on the safe side.)

    RJ was my contact and he was amazing. I got my passport and went to London on time (my husband and two sons had valid passports already). I donít usually write reviews but I am so thankful for the service RJ provided. I was genuinely afraid that I would not be able to get on the plane with my family.

    I am shocked to read any positive reviews of this company after my experience with them. First of all, for an expediting service they are extremely slow to respond. I placed 6 or 7 calls to Barbara before I got a returned phone call. None of my calls to them were ever actually answered live.

    I needed 3 passports processed from them. The instructions given were completely inaccurate. The government agent I dealt with told me that what Rushmypassport was asking for was not only incorrect, it was a liability. I was told by Barbara that the agent I dealt with at the passport office did not know what she was talking about.

    I was also told that I would not get a refund ($537) and am disputing through the credit card company as well as contacting the BBB.

    I only wish I'd done a little research into this company prior to doing business with them. This is not a legitimate and/or reputable service. Buyer beware.

    I have to post a second comment too. I don't know why so many people have these issues with the company. My transaction went incredibly smoothly. The website was clear and direct when it describes what you need to send. If you don't do it correctly, then don't expect them to be able to do anything! This is a time sensitive service: this is a company making a appointment for you. If you fail to meet the appointment by not sending the right information, then it's your fault. On the usefulness of going to the passport office yourself, that is only convenient if you live near one! There are only a few in the nation, and I don't live anywhere near one. I had to change the name on my wife's passport in under 2 weeks or we would have to forfeit our tickets ($1000!!) to guatemala, so this was definitely a deal for us. It may not be for everyone: If you're planning a trip to mexico in like 3 months then don't use the service! Put simply, for many people there is no other way than services like this to get their passports in the timeframe they require. Thanks to RJ Larney and everyone there!

    PS: I do not work there, as many claim the positive comments are fake. I am a chef in pittsburgh, pa. I work at Braddock's downtown. I AM A REAL PERSON. Sheesh.

    Follow the instructions exactly and you will get your passport on time! They follow up with e-mails and phone calls indicating which step your order has been processed. Although it is a pricey service it is worth it in the long run.

    This company is just a scam. They took my credit card information, charge the card and got nothing from them. Never called, never Emailed just a charge that I fought with my credit card company for 6 months and finally lost because their fine print states absolutely no refunds.

    Their business is a scam. All they do is make an appointment for you at the passport office. If there's one in your city just go there. If you call they'll say there are no appointments, and it's because companies like rushmypassport call to book all the appointments. If you go to the passport office early in the morning you can get a new passport in one day. Bring two forms of government ID and your checkbook!

    Call your congressman and tell them to require a social security number when making an appointment at a passport office and we can put these scam companies out of business!
