Just disputed two charges on Credit card, 189 and for a trip to Charleston, SC and an extra 200 for cancelling. First, It wasn't until the end of the original call that Blue-Green was mentioned or that they were going to record the call. It was never stated that you could not cancel or that there would be a penalty if you did. Secondly, they do not provide all details until you get your confirmation email a day or so later. If the details are unacceptable and you try to cancel they say you can't cancel. Also, if you do not show up they charge an additional $200 to your card. I never agreed to the special terms they added or the timeframe for their so-called tour and I never was told I could not cancel. After 3 emails and phone calls I was told they were sending it to their legal department and my card was hit for an additional $200. They claim to have all the phone conversations recorded. As far as I know this is not legal unless you are told upfront and agree to the call being recorded. Totally rude and unprofessional and possibly even illegal. Someone needs to take some knid of action to stop this behavior.

I am having the same problem now! They are very dishonest and customer service is horrible. I will never use them and will tell others not to either!!

Order Number 389 - US. I found a Rooms101.com travel package on the net for 3 nights & 4 days ($199) which met our needs, so we accepted. The rep told me the hotel was downtown (it was 6 miles away). I had to call the company several times because complimentary event tickets were not included...finally got them. The required 90 minute presentation lasted over 3 1/2 hours. When the credit charge statement arrived, Rooms 101.com had billed me for $299, not $199 as advertised, a $100 overcharge. For that rate, we could have stayed at the same motel on our own without losing half a day on a boring condo presentation. I have contacted the company for a refund but they will not respond to my inquiries. Consequently, I have filed official complaints with the BBB of Central Florida and the State of Florida's Attorney General's Consumer Protection Agency.

Don't waste you time or money on this company. Rooms 101.com is a big scam.

This company is a scam they will over. Charge ur credit card. Do not book with rooms 101. Terrible business & customer service

The service is the worst I have ever seen. And beware of the false advertisements such as $100 gas card when it comes in, it's a gas rebate card with a lot of red tape. They get $400 from resorts that they refer you to and are taking advantage of people by not honoring their promotions. Rooms101.com has terrible Customer service. I've called for two days in a row and was told I would get a call back the same day. Nothing. Again Nothing. I was charged twice the fee that the internet quoted. I am still unsure if this is a legitimate company as I cannot find anything- good/bad about this company on google & yahoo. I called the resort directly and they have never heard of Rooms101.com. OMG!!!

Disappointed

Well when first booking the vacation I was excited..I told Katie what I wanted like a room on the beach, with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. She said she had found it for me at a River Oaks Resort. She assured me it came with all I asked for..I didn't know I had to ask for a room with WiFi b/c the condo sure didn't have WiFi.Before going on the vacation I get a confirmation email explaining in more detail about a 11% tax due for each day of your stay and is due when you check me., so I called about that.This guy called me back and was very unprofessional and rude and said he would have Katie call me. I decided I was just gonna go anyway. When we got there to check in we pay $65.00 for taxes then was told if we lose the room key it's $65.00 a piece. When I walked into the room I was so disappointed. I was scared to sit in the living room b/c the furniture was old and dirty looking. Both bedrooms had a queen bed and a twin bed the bed covers in my room didn't match and the furniture was out of date. the TV's was the box TV's.. all I could look out my window and see was a pond. Oh I forgot the condo telephone didn't work either. When I asked about WiFi she said my unit don't come with WiFi, that's a must have..I also asked how we get into the indoor pool, she said you have to have a card to get in and if it's lost there is a 75.00 charge..I felt like I was sold a dream but walked into a nightmare.

PAINFUL!!!!

we're talking vacations here...can you at least get educated people to talk on the phone...or not a system where you have to call 11 times and get 11 voicemails to just connect...and the bait and switch. use at your own peril.

  • Nothing really. Seems to be good offers but not real.
  • Cons:
  • Terrible customer service. Unbelievably inefficient to work with. Very cagey about details.

    Was given a great deal 3day/2night stay in Pigeon Forge. We already had reservations for Pigeon Forge which had to be extended for 2 nights and Rooms101 came through. Did have to go to a presentation which was explained to me. The cabin was at Eagle Ridge Resort which was nicer than the one we had stayed at previously which had cost alot more.

    Had a great experience with rooms101.com from start to finish. All that was promised was delivered. I have to admit I was nervous after reading all the bad reviews but we had a great experience with no problems at all!

    absolute WORST experience ever!!! Rooms are not what they say!!! Additional resort fees are charged. Customer service does not exist. They are beyond rude. EJ hung up as we started to ask questions. Fraud business. Do not waste your time or money. They will lie, cheat and ruin your vacation.

    Awful Customer Support

    I would not recommend this to anyone. Customer Service is so rude and unprofessional. They don't want to listen to your complaints nor even attempt to fix your problem. I called several times, and each person I talked to were the same way, seems as though being rude is a qualification of theirs. So why would I want to deal with a company that doesn't care for customers in the beginning. So I encourage anyone interested to please stay away from this company. Very disappointing.

    Roaches & more. Roaches

    They sent us to a 2 bedroom condo that had a roach nest behind the kitchen stove. Roaches were all over the. Kitchen. They were overbooked and tried to send me to another roach motel to satisfy me. People were rude and still wanted me to do a tour. They wanted to give me food coupons to suffice me.     Poor customer service

    Called the 800 number and reached the answering service. Didn't leave a message but a few minutes later was called back by the rudest woman asking me a ton of personal questions. When I told her I wasn't sure of my dates of travel she yelled at me " are we on the same page, or am I interrupting you??!!" Then hung up in me. Don't do business with these people. If they treat you like this when you haven't even handed over your credit card info imagine how they'll treat you at the resort. Beware!!!

    When you first call you hear a pleasant recording from "Margo". However when the person answers the phone they sound like they not only hate their job, but also hate you & themselves. "RUN" Maybe that was a blessing in disguise so that I will not experience some of the terrible reviews I read about just now. I would never spend money & time with a business that has this poor level of Customer Service. Plenty of Vacation Companies, no need to be disrespected by Rooms101.com

    Unprofessional and illegal!

    Do not book with this company!!! I set up a reservation and everything seemed good. When I got my email and saw that the price had changed and a deposit was added, I explained to them that I do not wish to confirm. The service rep called me and was really nasty! After telling me that I was going to pay for a trip I had not confirmed, regardless, they hit my debit card not once but twice. My bank is helping me to correct the situation- love Bank Of America by the way, and they also told me that what they did was illegal. Currently trying to find a lawyer to hear my case. Poor service and extremely unprofessional.

    Dishonest in their sales pitch. Extremely abrasive sales & customer care people. I called about a 3day/2nite pkg in Charleston, SC. Advertised online starting at $49. They sold me (and I agreed) to an $89 pkg with the condition that we take a morning tour of the resort property, which we were glad to do, but it had to be morning. Was told that, when we checked in, we could let them know which tour we wanted. I would have signed up immediately for the a.m. tour, but was not given the opportunity. Was also, told that I would receive an email that same day with everything that we discussed. Never got one. Instead received confirmation via email next business day with a scheduled tour at noon. Customer care people were very defensive and rude and said they could not change our tour reservation. They were very dishonest and do not deserve to be doing business.
