Ordered 4 patio umbrellas. Was contacted the following day by phone, saying that 2 of the four umbrellas were no longer available, but that if I wanted, they could sell me two more of the more expenssive umbrellas. Over a week later, I recieved a call saying that they had been trying to contact me for over a week via email (Which was obviously not true, as I had recieved my two order confirmation with via email no problem... but no others) but that now, none of the umbrellas were available. Sorry. Lesson for customers... Don't use this site. Lesson for Patioshoppers.com... Don't sell stuff online that you do not have to sell, and don't lie to customers about it in the end. My order # was 567514

I've personally looked into this customers comment and take full responsibility. Yes, we had an issue with two out of the umbrellas being out of stock "from our distributor" on a special order. We offered him two higher quality umbrellas "at our cost" to help solve the issue. He was not satisfied with our response. I also have the written proof we contacted him and submitted emails and phone calls following up promptly. Bottom line he was upset that we couldn't fulfill the order as promised in which we understand. End result, he kept the umbrellas and we gave him a "full refund" yet was still not satisfied and gave us this review after the fact. We certainly are not perfect but we do our best to keep everyone satisfied. I highly recommend looking into power reviews for a better idea of our true ratings since they are a verified true too fact review service. We've found many of these weird review places with false and fake reviews made from our competitors with names that don't even show up in our account base. However, this is a real review.
I'm sorry Scott, but every time I order from patioshoppers my order number starts with 100. You are obviously a fake

If I could give it a minus 5 I would. I ordered an umbrella.It came & I was dissatisfied. Called to send back & was told I would have to pay shipping. I picked another umbrella( more money of course) & told them to ship it when they received the first one & gave them my credit card.More than 2 weeks past, I then received a phone call & was asked if I wanted another umbrella.I said yes but they could not ship for 2 weeks. Itg is now more than a month w no umbrella& it has cost me more than if I bought one at Lowes.Now they are charging me for a scratch & a 25% resdtocking fee. If you order from these people. you had better KEEP IT & USE IT< EVEN IF YOU DONT LIKE IT>

I've personally looked into this comment. We do not have a Doug Monty in our system. We also do not charge restocking fee's unless it was a custom order. Please take a look at Power Reviews and Google trusted stores for a true accurate picture of our service record and ratings. We recently found a competitor posting as fake customers to give us a bad rating.
They have FREE returns. You are talking about a wrong company... get your facts straight

Ordered an umbrella and it came defective

I ordered an Umbrella 2 months ago. It did not crank up so had to be returned to the Fiberbuilt company to be repaired. Still no umbrella, and it is 95 out. Reps cant seem to tell me when or where my umbrella is and when I can expect it. Difficult to talk to anyone in customer service.

  • Easy to understand what products stand up well to certain environmental conditions.
  • Cons:
  • Poor customer service
  • Long time to get a broken umbrella.

    I've personally looked into the issue and Lynn is absolutely correct. We had a warrantee issue with our suppler and the issue did not get resolved in a timely matter. While, the notes in our system show us clearly following up with the manufacture, we had very little communication from them during the process which made it difficult for us to give her the appropriate answers. So we give no excuse for this review and except responsibility. All we can do is try and do a better job with customers service. End result, the umbrella was repaired and the customer has not had issues since. If lynn contacts us again, I will personally make sure she is taken care of appropriately.
    Are you sure you are talking about Patioshoppers? I have always contacted them and always get straight forward answers. Maybe try talking to Cindy or Kathy. They know me on a first name basis now, and I always get taken care of. They are the best customer service in the patio furniture business and probably online.

    I ordered 2 umbrellas in burgundy and placed them side by side on my deck. Within 3 months one of the umbrellas faded almost to white while the other retained it's rich color. The ad states "the 3M Scotchgarded fabric...with a wonderful rich color that will last through years use with proper care." It seems the one umbrella must not have had the Scotchgard because it lost all color in 3 months. However I was told that there was no warranty and nothing could be done except that I could order a replacement cover for $50. plus shipping. Why would I do that when it might fade also? So my two umbrellas do not match. One looks old and faded, after just 3 months! I would warn anyone else not to buy this item.

    Unfortunately I could not find this particular Mary from Clarksville TN is our system. We had over 3600 Mary's in our data base and it was difficult task. However, the issue sounds like something that certainly could have taken place. Sometimes we do have defects and issues can arise with Poly fabrics and 3M scotch-guard. However, we've sold "hundreds of thousands" of umbrellas with that type of fabric over the last 10 years and have very little issues other then fading. It's a value price item and certainly will fade a lot faster then Sunbrella and other fabrics. In this instance, we would have done our best to make sure she was taken care of. Many times we will just a send a new umbrella without question. If she contacts us back, I will most certainly take care of the issue.
    Sounds like you got a defective umbrella. Did you contact Customer Service? They send FREE replacement covers. I don't think you are talking about the right company MARY

    We have a great A rating with BBB, Google Trusted Stores and Power Reviews which are all vetted and monitored for true accuracy. I find it suspect and difficult to respond when someone won't put their name in the review. We have found a recent competitor posting negative reviews of our company in an attempt to hurt our reputation. If this is a real review, I would request the poster to contact me directly and I will make sure to personally listen to their issue and make sure the become a satisfied customer even if it is 4 and half years later.
    Sorry the umbrella didn't stand up in your vegas heat. Did you ever take it down or did you leave it up 24/7 like most people do? best customer service online... sorry you feel that way

    Elite Cast Aluminum Settee Bench

    I could not find the elite cast aluminum sette bench anywhere. Everyone kept having them out of stock until next year. I called patioshopps to see if they could get me one and I lucked out. They had one in their shop that they sent out the same day. I'm satisfied with the process and the way they handled themselves. A plus company

    I have been buying umbrellas for 7 years now and never had a problem. The customer service is amazing. They always do the right thing, even if they have to send a completely new umbrella free of charge. Always will do business with patioshoppers

    They Charge your Card weeks before they ship the Items

    Hello, Ruthie. Re:Order# 245979 6/11/2015 Beverly Hills, CA 90211 - I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with PatioShoppers.com! Your company charged me 16 days before you even shipped my item. On top of that, after you received the return via UPS on 7/6/15 (sent via UPS), you still have not issued my credit of $108.98. Your company received my money 16 days on the front end and are holding my money for another 10 days (and counting) on the back end! On top of this, you engage in FALSE Advertising! Your website says the HIL-HVD-TGTCV Triangle Glass Tube Heater Cover by Highland "Ships in 1-3 business days" but I did not get any messages from your company saying it was not going to be in stock until the end of June 2015 until I called a week after I placed the order to follow up.     super cheap umbrellas

    I found 2 smaller 7 foot umbrellas for under a hundred bucks. Can't go wrong. They were normally for 250 a piece. I will be back when these umbrella need replacing. I love the lime green color. I was also free shipping which everyone loves no a days. Also got a special $50 off coupon for signing up to their deal list. I might have to buy more before they all sell out at this price.
