ordered BMW struts from Partsgeeed and recived opened box. they don't exchange items so i need to send them back for refund and pay for shipping. I will not order from them ever. there way too many reputable on-line retailers with better customer service.

I ordered a neutral safety switch for a VW (ORDER # 11-1690940), they sent a lock cylinder in an opened box. I contacted them for a RMA return number and sent the lock cylinder back at my expense. Almost a month later they haven't issued a refund or sent the correct part, after trying to contact them I received an email asking what the part number for the lock cylinder was. I made no note of the incorrect part number and made this clear in an email to them. This is no way to do business, the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Meanwhile I have had to order the correct part from another company to get the vehicle on the road. I have never done business with a company that refuses to take Responsibility for their own foul up. I suggest steering clear of "PartsGeek"- UNBELIEVABLE!

i always order from them, they are the lowest priced

i am an ase certified mechanic, but i always check for parts on partsgeek, they are always the lowest priced, and customer service is great. i used to order from advanced auto, but i have had a lot of shipping issues, and wrong parts being shipped, but with partsgeek.com, i have yet to have one order that was incorrect. if my customers are happy, I'm happy. i would definitely recommend partsgeek.com to anyone that wants to get a part the first time the right way at the right price.

    Partsgeek Review: They are Awesome!

    I have placed lost of orders with partsgeek.com and have been happy every time. Even when i had a problem it was resloved.I would buy from them again. They have been in business since 2002 on the internet so i guess they are doing something right. Plus they only have ONE website so you know who your really buying from.

    If you are reading this it is likely because you have already ordered a part from partsgeek and received the wrong part. I ordered a simple fuel cap for $14, I received the $6 model and was charged the $14 plus shipping. The response with the RMA was quick, but that's when I found out that I have to pay the shipping to correct their error. They have not responded to any further emails yet and judging by the history here and on other sites, they probably won't.

    It stinks to get cheated for the wrong part and be expected to pay shipping for their error even if it is only a $20 loss. 11-1222495

    You better hope you get the right part!! I ordered an OEM part listed on their website but it is incorrect. I have been calling and emailing for 3 days to get a hold of anyone who can give me a RMA # to return. Customer service SUCKS!! I think this is an example of a garage operation with no customer service and an incorrect catalog on the web site. I would gladly pay more at any other web site and I will in the future. This is my last order with PartsGeek. I caution if there is a problem you are stuck with it. Buyers beware. Save yourself the aggravation and call the website before you order. If you canít reach them keep shopping on another site.

    I ordered some parts from PartsGeek for service on my car. One item does not fit my car even though it is listed as an OEM part which will work for the year, make and model of my car. PartsGeek refuses to pay shipping back for the part even though it is a mistake on their end. They said they were doing me a favor by not charging me a restocking fee! Stay away from these guys. They will send you the wrong parts and you'll be stuck with them! This is of course if you can get a hold of someone to speak to one the phone. I sent a few emails and left multiple messages before I got someone on the phone.

    The one time I ordered with PartsGeek.com the part came super-fast I was really surprised. Maybe their shipping center is closeby or something. The prices are cheap too which was what got me to buy from them in the first place. I wouldn't hesitate to make a purchase with them once more.
