Poor Return Policy

I purchased a lazy susan, ordering on line was easy and it arrived timely. Unfortunately it was too big and I needed to return it. Organize-it has a very poor return policy. I needed to contact them for an RMA #, either by email or phone, I emailed because they had limited phone hours EST I'm PST. Also they won't respond to your email on a weekend. Received my RMA # on a Monday, inquired about a return shipping label that their instructions state would be sent so that took another email and contact. Once received I needed to fill out their return slip that came with my purchase with the same information on the other side - why???? Anyway, just a hassle to return. I'll stick with Zappos & Amazon.

    VERY UNHAPPY

    "These people have terrible customer service. I sent a jewelry organizer back bc it was not the right size. Had to pay 15$ for shipping. When they received I was informed that it could not be refunded bc of the condition it was it. THE BAND NEW, NEVER BEEN USED CONDITION!!! (When I sent it I double wrapped it in bubble wrap btw) They wanted a cedit card number so that WE could pay to have them ship it back. My husband wasn't ok with giving a credit card number over the phone or email so we did not respond. Well....it just so happens that they THROUGH THINGS AWAY, ALREADY PAYED FOR THINGS after 2 weeks. Which we were NEVER informed of. Couldn't take 30 seconds to send an email??? I called customer service a couple weeks too later ready to give them a credit card number for shipping and was told "it went out in Fridays trash", and "there's nothing we can do". I asked why we were never told about the 2 weeks and could get no answer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. If I can keep one person from buying from "Organizeit" I would be thrilled. Please take my advise. They obviously do not care about their customers. I could not get a coupon, a discount nothing. They STOLE about 75$ from me."

    Very Unhappy

    I purchased 2 items (Order No. 573044): (1) Over the Door Cap Organizer. It did not hold even one cap. The silly thing that is supposed to hold up the cap just flips over; (2) Over the Door Adjustable Purse Rack which is designed the same as the cap organizer. I didn't even open because it was designed the same way. There is no possible way it can hold something as light as a baseball cap so I wasn't going to bother opening the other item. I called the day the item was received to get a refund. The girl didn't even ask if there was a problem. Out of the $30.47 I paid for this junk, I received back $17.49. So I just went on their website to post a review. There is a button that you click to post a review and when you click it nothing happens. I find it interesting that all five reviews were 5 stars. No way! There is something wrong here. Sorry just a waste of time and effort.

    The Christmas tree bag is of the highest quality I have seen - very sturdy and durable. I am ordering another one this year for my second tree.

    Such lousy customer service

    Letter to Organizeit.com:

    On August 28, I placed this order for a glass skillet lid. My PayPal account was charged that day.

    After a promised delivery date of "a week to 10 days," I finally received the lid

    on October 4, over 5 weeks later. What I actually received was a box of shattered glass. I sent pictures to Organizeit.com as documentation. I requested a full refund, including shipping costs since I had not received the item FOR WHICH I PAID SHIPPING. Of course, I was informed that "We do not refund shipping."

    I was offered via email a replacement lid in "a week to 10 days." Today I once again received an email notifying me of a delay in shipping, due to back order. There truly seems to be a disconnect in your company that misleads your customers and makes promises of delivery that cannot possibly be fulfilled.

    You have had the (unethical) use of my funds for 6.5 weeks. I have never dealt with an online organization that charges an account weeks before they actually fill the order. I believe that I am clearly owed a TOTAL of $33.47 Paypal refund as Organizeit.com has not proven that they can actually deliver my product.

    I will expect a timely refund.

    organize it .com took my money shipped me no product

    Organize it .com is a joke and they said they had stock in and they did not at the time of the transaction, took my money, and then sent me a backorder of an email for two wks at xmas time, I cancelled the order and was assured I would get my money back through paypal in 24 hrs to 48 hrs and did not I am stillworking on this, however, I have a bad feeling about this company! BEWARE!

    I ordered a spice rack from Organizeit.com and it fell apart when I took it out of the box. When I called to return it they told me the $8.03 in original shipping charges and the return shipping charges were my responsibility. The Rack itself was only $15.99 so it doesn't make much sense for me to bother returning it and I really think $8 in shipping was excessive to start with.

    I think in the case of a defective item they should pay for shipping. They DID offer a replacement but I don't want to settle for something I don't really want to save a few bucks.

    I am very dissappointed in their service and wanted to warn people about the shipping scam.

    Customer service is non-existent

    As others have said customer service is very bad. They take money and don't ship products. I will never order from this company again. Lesson learned the hard way.

    DONT ORDER FROM THEM!

    I shopped everywhere for a less-expensive option to the many sliding cabinets out there. I found one on Organize It and it SEEMED like my answer and I was excited to find an order it. It came with no problems--was what I expected. BUT, Buyers should be aware that ORGANIZE IT charges $26.00 to SHIP many items of lesser value--you pay more for shipping than for the item! They are not friendly when you call nor will they refund any shipping costs. In fact, the supervisor was horrible to me on the phone. With SO many online options, go to the next retailer. SPEND MORE, GET A BETTER PRODUCT AND GET FREE SHIPPING.

    I ordered shelving for my new home. The shelves came in damaged. My significant other opened the package a few months after we moved in since we were not ready to install the shelving til the rooms were ready and had been painted. He discovered the damage then and by the way the original ship date was suppose to be 9-23 and it did not ship til 10-22-08. When he called to see about a replacement for the shelves or a refund he was told "too bad so sad" This is appalling. What happened to good ole fashion customer service. We have now lost $100+ and will NEVER do business again with Organize It. We will be sure to spread the word to friends and family as we have a business and know lots of people to NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ORGANIZEIT

    Terrible customer service

    I am from San Antonio, TX (order#593233). I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from this company! They double charged my credit card and when I called to ask for credit, they rudely explained to me that they would not credit entire amount due because they had a charge for double orders (which I did not make). Then she hang up on me!

    They have good stuff, but their return policy is downright meanspirited. They took back about $150 worth of things that we didn't need (in an order of about $450) and credited us less than $50 - this after we paid a lot of money to ship it back to them. Buyer beware!

    AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

    This company is AWFUL. Run away as fast as you can and don't buy anything. They will ship you the wrong product then charge you to ship it back AND to ship you the correct item. Absolutely the worst online company I have ever worked with.

    ORGANIZEIT.COM IS COMPLETELY SUSPICIOUS

    Beware of your purchase!! I placed an order for a set of bed risers for $6 plus $6.99 in shipping. Yes, it costs more to ship which is what I was thinking "Hmmm, I guess that's where they make their money." Well, turns out they send you a SINGLE bed riser. Who is gods green earth is ordering 1 or 5 or 7? That is what I asked them when clearly I was livid after spending $12.99 on a single useless wood riser that would cost me $6 to return. They said people replace them, oh really, the wood riser wears out? Ok, I guess I should be thankful that I didn't get the other 3 for a total of $30.99. By the way they are available on Amazon for $16.49.

    DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

    Purchased an item during the holiday season, that was ultimately declared lost by FedEx. FedEx informed me that I would need to contact the company I purchased the item from to request a reshipment. When I contacted customer service they basically told me tough luck. They got my money, and don't care in the slightest that I never got what I ordered.

    Shipping charges is way too expensive. I ordered small parts for your products that cost about $9.00. It came in a box the size that is about the size of a $6.00 United States Postal service Flat rate box. I was charged $31.33. I want a refund on shipping!!!! Called customer service and only got a recording.

    Customer Service is Awful

    I ordered an item on December 13. When I called to check on it (supposed to be a Christmas gift) I was told the company that makes the item closes during the holidays (this information was not on their website) and someone would get back to me..never heard back. I received notification that the item has finally shipped, a little too late for Christmas:(...I will do my best to not do business with this company again. They would be well served to review their customer service training (or lack of).

    Not going to waste too much time just want to state facts, took them over 2 weeks to mail a couple of small items. Company lacks customer service etiquette. Try <a href=http://www.coolcomputing.com/d/amazon.com.html>Amazon</a> they will get you your item within 2 days and many items are free shipping.
