The excellent:

Bought a jackets and it came pretty quick. It was a bit short so I followed the instructions to return it. I sent them a msg indicating I was retuning it and also that I would like a different jacket which they claim to have in stock.

The poor:

Eventually got a message that they would be shipping the replacment jacket within two business days. That was on 27 Jan. Since this time I have sent 4 x messages without hearing a word. I'm not sure if they even shipped it out to me yet.

The result:

While I'm sure I will eventually get the goods....the lack of customer care is extremely annoying.

terrible web site and business model. ordered a marmot limelight 2p tent that was on sale, put in credit card info, had confirmation of order emailed to me. Next day I get an email saying that they are out of the item and they are uncertain when it will become available, and is there another tent i might be interested in ordering. Is it really that hard to have your inventory updated real time? I think its a bait and switch tactic. would never do business with this site.

E-OMC is a great online store for outdoor gear. They are fast and the website is easy to navigate. Live help is also another feature. Free shipping is free after $50. Prices of tents is cheaper than other online stores. Recommended.

I was so impressed and happy with e omc's assistance in getting the backpack I wanted sent to me in a short amount of time. Their prices are reasonable and they kept me informed immediately about my status afterward. The process was easy.

Since e-omc is based in Oregon, that means no sales tax on my purchases! WhoohOO! I got my Northface Oso Hoodie and I LOVED it. My jacket came quickly and best of all no tax!

E Omc stands for oregon mountain community and its a great online store for active individuals. They rival patagonia. I like that the pricing is pretty reasonable and the clothing that I get are good quality. Their customer support is very helpful and friendly. I would shop here again.

OMC has pretty good clearance items under their screaming deals section. I been shopping with them for a while. When I am in Portland I always try to go to the store otherwise the web will do too.

e-OMC.com is one of my favorite online shops. They have a great selection of outdoor apparel at very good prices. Shipping is fast too. Once I accidently order the wrong color on a jacket and a quick call to the CS department solved the problem. I highly recommend.
