I have LensCrafters customer for about 4 years, I have always been pretty satisfied with my exams & glasses in the past.I always went to the Fairview Park Ohio location but now we moved and I went to the Strongsville Ohio Lenscrafters in the mall. This years service was horrible. I had to make an appointment because I came in and the doctors office was dark. The gentleman put my appointment in the computer for the next evening. I asked about my insurance and he said the girls that work for doctor would take care of it tomorrow. I picked out my glasses & the guy held them for me.When I came back for my exam I come to find out that they do not take my insurance. I have to pay in full.Now the manager apologized like crazy and even filled out a form and mailed my receipt for me to get reimberused from my insurance.The exam went well. They take a picture of your eyes so you dont have to get those annoying drops!! I I bought progressive transitions with anti-glare and scratch resistant. the same guy I made the appointment with helped me. There is no one hour like there was at the other Lenscrafters. After 16 days I called to see when my glasses would be in. They would check on them & call me back. Noone called. Finally i stopeed in & they were there & what I got was a wrong prescription. I told the girl when I got them that they were wrong. She asked that I try them for a couple of weeks. I tried. After two weeks I go back, I have never been treated so rudely in my life. They gave they determined the prescription had been filled correctly and I would need a re-exam. The re-exam showed my power was fine but the progressive part was measured wrong making my far away blurry. The problem being now I have to wait again.The lady who wrote up the new order was so rude. She said I should have told the other guy I was gonna walk around with the glasses on! Duh. I finally go the glasses after 64 days. The worst part was the way I was treated,I will never put myself through that again. If they are going for customer is always wrong, they are on the right track

Beware of lenscrafters. Make sure you know your plan. Twice they tried robbing me of my benefits. Never give them money until you see the breakdown of costs. They told me my allowance did not exist that I had to pay up front. I called the insurance company & they said that was FALSE. So I approached lenscrafters & they said yes it might of been a glitch.They told me my total purchase was $400. After insurance they said it was $250. I asked for a breakout and all of a sudden my whole purchase was covered under my plan. I will need to contact BBB because this was a suspicous transaction.

I tried LC for the first time recently--using discount deal plus my insurance. I found the price very high and am not sure why it was so high. The place was crowded and the staff seemed to be in a hurry. There was no measurement or care---just hand

over the selected frame, the prescription, and the money! I am not sure the fit is

good, but a staff person did try to adjust

the frame when I went back. I doubt that I

would try LC again. I have worn glasses for

60+ years and have never experienced less

professionalism.

Not all lc are bad , it depends on which one you go to. I've had awesome service and their selection of glasses are nice. Better than private offices. I am skeptical about their coupons. There's really no discount since the total price after coupon and insurance is still high. All they do is mark up everything very high

I went to the store in Arlington Heights,Il. to get my lenses replaced because they were cracking.The clerk told me they would not replace the lenses without an eye exam. The Dr. also confirmed this. I had an exam and was told my left eye had changed.The clerk then told me I had to buy new frames.I went to pick up the new glasses a week later and the new prescription in the left eye was wrong. I had to make another appt. for a re exam. It was back to my old prescription. After another week I picked up the glasses. What a scam ! I've been a customer for over 25 years but I will never go back to LensCrafters again !

Lenscrafters at the Poughkeepsie,NY Galleria has a really considerate and caring team. I've had several pairs of glasses made for me there over the years and everyone has always had my vision and comfort their primary concern. Periodic adjustments are never a problem and are ,in fact, encouraged.

I did try that other brand once but I missed the level of service at Lenscrafters.

Lens Crafters at the Pinnacle Trussville location is very unprofessional and over-priced. The staff and doctor treated me very badly and surprise billed me even when I advised them to let me know what the price would be if it was going over the limit on my insurance. When I complained to the office manager I got no apology what so ever. I was told she would "look in to it". 5 months later I still haven't heard anything. If you want good customer service DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!

Approximately 2 weeks ago, I took my husband's glasses to have them repaired at the LensCrafter's store at Crossroads Mall in OKC. Tina Spanke fixed them for us at no charge. Yesterday, my husband and I had our eye exams and Tina assisted us with our new glasses. She/they were awesome. We were very pleased with the service received and I highly recommend them. We will not hesitate to use them again....Thank you Tina......

Purchased glasses the first week of may, at lenscrafters at southwest plaza at southwest plaza in Littleton,co. Returned to store, they broke my frames, replaced at no charge to me.The gentlemanfor glasses that were not right. assisting me offered to apology and seemed quite angry.Still the glasses were not right. I took them back to my doctor who informed me that one lens was not my from my prescription.$260.00 for glasses that were useless. No way will I go back to them. I have been going to LensCrafters for over 10 years but will not go back again.

I have been a happy customer of Lenscrafters for many years and have suggested that my family and friends go there for glasses or contacts. It all started with my being able to get the glasses that I had purchased from another store adjusted in a pleasant manner. I looked at Lenscrafters when I needed to change glasses and loved the variety of frames and the wonderful service. This time around, a man named Frank at the South Ft. Myers store took the time to give me honest feedback and I ended up with a pair that I really like and have received compliments when I wear them. Thanks for the continued service and variety of frames at a good price. I plan to continue there as a customer.

I am pleased with my Lenscrafters' experience and with my glasses

as well. The sunglasses were incorrectly made at first (The bifocal was too high) but when I returned with them they were remade properly. Apart from that, the experience was a good one.

I shall return when I need adjustment and, of course, when I need replacements. The cost was a pleasant surprise.

Will never use LensCrafters again. First: Highly resent "bundling" charges for exam. Husband is diabetic, wanted eye health exam only, no exam for glasses. However, was told that was an extra charge built into eye exam, and couldn't be changed. Wasn't covered by Medicare, so we had to pay out of pocket!! Second: Our provider does not have capability of "Medicare Crossover". LensCrafters refused to submit to our supplemental insurance because it couldn't be done by computer. Since when is it so difficult to submit a claim manually? First time we've encountered this problem. We will give our future business to a competitor.

Don't contact costumer support

The store nailed it, best service ever. The employee were great, very nice and helpful. However I had to contact costumer support and I lost all respect for lensCrafters. Don't bother contacting cause they don't listen and takes to long for a reply so all returns or warranties time will be up and they still can't figure it out... If it weren't for costumer support you would see five stars..

nose pad wires

purchased new frames 2 months ago 10/26/13 I was working in my shed turned and hit side of my glasses, and bent noise piece. saw that I had bent it. tried to to fix it and broke off in my hand. I have wore this type frames for at least 25years and have hit my frames many times and have never bent the noise peace this much or this easy. In less than 1 hour I went to the Mentor store ware I bought the glasses.

I had not bought extra insurance on them. cost me 74 dollars plus tax. On looking at the wire on my old frames the noise peace wire was much thicker.

While waiting on the lenses to be put in another new frame,I looked at other frames on display, and all noise peace wires were thinner like the ones that broke.

I feel this will most likely happen again if not careful.I would not recommend these frames if you are a active person. I no I will not be going back again.

I live in Mentor,Ohio. The staff were helpful but the frames don't live up to my expectations.

    I loved my experience at lens crafters in Pasadena. Keysha was so helpful and made me comfortable with what was at 58 years old my first eye exam. She and Dr Durant who is also a great and kind fantastic person are the Bomb. I have never made any comment on line before my experience was so wonderful I just had too.i am always gonna go there I suggest you do as well Thank you.

    I have a very difficult prescription very near sighted and a astigmatism I go to Wills Eye Hospital in Philly, Pa for my exam. They were very pleased with my glasses! so I went back this time too the sales people were very helpful. And I love my new glasses. IT only took 4 business days to come in!     I just purchased two new pairs of glasses at LensCrafter Store #323 in Las Vegas, Nevada. My Order # 529235094 was ready and perfect in one hour, as promosed. In partuicular, Mary Chester and Tina Florey were excellent with the selection and process ing and fitting of my new specs. They really went above and beyond in their service, I came in after work and was the last order of the day. The lab technicians were wonderful-perfect vision once again!

    As a new customer to Lenscrafters, I was pleased with the level of professionalism by the on-site optometrist, as well as the staff, especially Becky, who fitted my glasses. Late on a Saturday, because I needed a lens replacement and was due for a lens change exam anyway, I decided to try the Whitehall, PA location. Dr. Brodsky gave me a thorough exam, and given the complex nature of my eye situation, I was very pleased with the prescription. The store personnel processed the insurance, I was fitted with a new pair of contemporary frames, and was on my way! Nice experience.

    I could not be more pleased with the fitting from John. I had to come back just over a month later because the frame was a defect. Scott was excellent in the way he gave me many options to correct the problem. Lenscrafters sure does keep its word! I must say I was very satisfied.

    The one thing I wanted to say is that LensCrafters DOES take your glasses back if for whatever reason they do not work for you. This happened to me. The new glasses that I got just didn't fit right and the more I wore them the more I did not like them. I brought them back in the alloted time and told the manager that these were NOT going to work for me. No problem he said and with his help I picked out a different pair of glasses and I could not be happier with them. These were a little less expensive and they credited my credit card without a problem. I will continue to get my glasses from LensCrafters as they truly have been the greatest for me over the years. They do stand behind their products.

    I have had two pairs of glasses made at the La Cantera location in San Antonio. I was very happy with both pair. I have been a contractor since 1985 and so customer relations are of top importance to me. When I go to get my glasses adjusted I have always dealt with the general manager there Colby and he is very professional.I have sent probably two dozen people to him and I will continue to do so. He is so very informative on all your questions and very patient to answer them all for you very thoroughly.I will continue to be his customer as long as he is there.You have a very valued employee in him. If he ever leaves I am going where he goes. Thanks Colby for everything you do. Oh yeah, thanks Lenscrafters as well. 5 stars all the way!

    i moved from VA to PA and i needed my prescription. so i called the LC in VA and they couldnt find my current one cause they dont have access to the files in the doctors office next door so the guy takes my info and goes to the docs office and gets my prescripiton and puts it in the system so i can go get my new glasses in pittsbiurgh. this is why i am a Lenscrafters fan for life i will not go anywhere else.

    Recently I purchased a pair of glasses from Lenscrafters at Columbus Circle NYC. The woman that took care of me, Gina, went out of her way to assist me in any way possible, even offering to adjust sunglasses that were purchased elsewhere. She tightened the sunglasses around my ears to make sure they didn't slip off.

    Last Thursday, my husband and I had a serious kayaking accident in Whistler, Brisish Columbia. We were in 40 degree water and really nearly lost our lives. What I realized when we were dragged out of the water was that the sunglasses that Gina had tightened the week before probably saved my vision.

    So,while I wanted to write to someone at Lenscrafters to commend this associate for being so helpful, now I have her to thank for saving my vision from serious injury.

    we always went there for my son for years. they took our Ins. and eye exams were covered and so were part of glasses. last time we made appt. on-line and went in and she says "we are offering a $5 coupon for all costomers not in our network". I didnt know what she was talking about till I got the bill and No Ins coverage! She says I said before we went in that "we are offering a $5 coupon for all costomers not in our network". Why she couldnt just say,'we dont take B/C B/S anymore.' idk. i felt tricked into an $130.00 eye exam i culdnt pay for and then had no $ to get the contacts!!! I will never go back there. Be up front with your costomers.

    To get new frames and lenses, I used a prescription that was 6 months old. My eyes change very little if at all. When I picked up the glasses, I mentioned to the clerk that one lense was not clear. She said it will be all right when I use both lenses! I went back to complain that I was unhappy. A different clerk said the prescription was followed correctly. I wonder about that! She said I could go for another exam withing 90 days. That's another large amount of money to spend. I am trying to live with these but am not happy. I have an annual appointment coming up in a few months. But I can't afford new lenses again so soon. I love the frames. If I decide to get new lenses, I may have to try elsewhere. Until now I've been very satisfied with your service and product. 7/1/10

    I got my glasses several months ago, which I love. My only issue is that I have been very careful when cleaning them & they already have more scratches than my previous pair, which were almost 20 years old! I am very dissatified and disappointed as they were fairly expensive.

    I PURCHASED FRAMES AND LENS FROM YOUR ATHENS OFFICE SEVERAL MONTH AGO.I WAS NOT TOLD OR OFFERED COUPONS OR DISCOUNTS. HOWEVER, I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE FIT OF MY GLASSES. THEY FELT FINE WHEN I LEFT THE OFFICE BUT SEVERAL DAYS LATER THEY WERE UNCOMFORTABLE AND THE BIFOCAL LINE SEEMS TO BE HIGH. I LIVE IN HARTWELL AND DON'T GET TO ATHENS OFTEN.     Order # 490487910 $163 Terrell, Tex...........In March I had my lenses replaced and when I picked up the glasses I could tell I could not see properly. As with any new prescription the Rep and I decided to wait and see if my eyes adjust.( The rep that waited on me and lady I talked with on the phone appeared to appreciate my business.)In April I called back and told a female rep that I could not see. She looked up my order and told me I had till (90 days to bring in a new prescription due to doctor error)June to see a new Doctor and bring the new prescription to them to replace my lenses. The first few days in May I went back to the Mesquite store and met with the first available rep--David--and he said the infomation I had been given was not correct that the 90days was from the original date of the prescription. I explained that did not make sense--How could a person know the doctor made an error in writing the script if the prescription was not filled until I picked up my glasses? and why was I even told about the 90 days if from the date prescrioption vs the date Lenscrafter placed new lenses in my frames. I wanted to speak to a manager and he told me he was as high as I could go. I then requested the phone number or address for the Corp office and he said I could email Lenscrafters as there was not a phone number. I have been in glasses 50 years and a customer of Lenscrafters for 15 but I will not return.

    Back in March of 2010, I visited Lens Crafters at the Warwick Mall, in Warwick RI. I was fitted with and purchased a new frame and lens. After several visits for adjustments the frame continued to hurd across the nose and behind the ears. The store manager suggested that the frame was too large for the weight of my prescription. He was patient with me at each of my visits and cheerfully fitted me with a new frame smaller around the eyes. This made a big difference in the weight of the glasses. I would certainly recommend Lens Crafters for the purchase of eyeglass frames.

    I found the DR. to be very patient and kind, and the associate Wendy Langlands was also very patient, she found glasses to fit the bridge of my nose perfectly, it has been broken and has a slight bump. I love my new glasses and receive good comments on them. I need prescription sunglasses for the summer and I will be going back to see Wendy Langlands! I have no doubt that she will once again be very kind and helpful.

    I have used Lenscrafters at the beach since they first opened. I've never had a problem until now. I am told they can no longer make trifocals in the beach branch. I think this is taking a step back and not going forward. one of the reasons given was that too many lenses get broken here so they are being sent into town with a wait of one to two weeks. I think a way should be found to accomodate the "trifocal wearers". my last pair was made here and there were no problems. the staff are all professional and helpful. I am unhappy with your decision to send my Rx somewhere else.

    I have been going to LensCrafters for about six years, I have always been satisfied with my glasses in the past, the few minor problems were resolved without issue. This year, however, that changed. I bought progressive transitions with anti-glare and scratch resistant, what I got was a wrong perscription. I told the girl when I got them that they were wrong, she asked that I try them for a couple of weeks, this actually sounded reasonable at the time. So after two weeks I go back, I have never been treated so rudely in my life. They gave the glasses the twice over and determined the perscription had been filled correctly and I would need a re-exam. The re-exam showed my perscription had "changed" quite a bit in two weeks, and we would need to start over. The problem being if the new glasses came back incorect my 30 day "unconditional" warranty would have expired, seems it only applies to the first fill even if it's wrong. I basically ended up with what they had in stock, which was single vision, transitions without the anti-glare. Not at all what I wanted. The worst part was the way I was treated,I will never put myself through that again, not to end up with something other than what I wanted. This store is located in Hillsboro Or. If they are going for "Snobbish" they are on the right track.

    Poorest expirence ever - Everyone was in a big hurry -Had to go back twice - I still cant see with Lens Crafters Glasses - I use over the counter which I brought with me and told the head greeter -They would not listen -

    I have been a Lenscrafters customer for well over 10 years. I have a yearly eye exam and have purchased new glasses almost every year - whenever my perscription has changed. In every instance I have been extremely pleased with the services and products. Whenever there has been a problem with my glasses or my not being able to see clearly through them, the personnel have been most helpful and accommodating. The price is right and the service superb!

    First of all let me say I have been dealing with and Lenscrafters for many years. I have always been satisfied with their products and will continue to purchase my eye wear as long as their sevice remain good. I recently purchased new glasses from Lenscrafter store in Moorsetown NJ. I had some problems with the photo lens and had to return. Lenscrafter's staff member "MEGAN" was the greatest,she solved my problem quickly and very professional......THANK YOU Megan

    I am a very satisfied customer of Lenscrafters here in Brandon Fl. I have used Lenscrafters for many year in my former home in Richmond, Va. Everyone I have dealt with in either place has been courteous and knowledgeable. The service is excellent. My glasses have always been delivered on time and have suited me well.     I think lenscrafters is a very awesome place to get glasses,I would recommend it to others because when I got my glasses it only took a day or 2 and I just love my glasses I might be going to get another pair. Plus it's not to expensive I am just happy I go to this place.
