scammed by Layla Grayce

I Ordered a Newport cottage crib from Layla Grayce and paid nearly $1200. The crib came damaged and Layla Grayce bated me into blaming the logistics company that delivered the crib, then washed their hands of the responsibility of the damage. I notified Layla Grayce immediately and had to wait until the opened at 8:00 AM Pacific time, which is 3 hours after I received delivery of the crib in Eastern standard time. The Customer service manager told me they could not honor the claim because I didn't immediately notify them and signed for the crib. I would have had to notify them at 5:00 AM, as they are 3 hours behind eastern standard time. In the end Layla Grayce told me they would only touch the crib up where it was damaged, and NOT replace the damaged sections because I signed the delivery receipt. If I wanted a sub par crib or a $150-$200 crib I would have shopped at Walmart. I paid $1200. for a damaged crib that will never look right! I will fight this to the end to get what we paid for, which is a NEW crib, not a used or damaged crib! PLEASE DO NOT do business with this company, they have the worst customer service and do NOT honor good business practices.

The curtains I bought looked nothing like they were sold to me and turned an ugly color once in the sun.

Horrible customer service, paid $750 for something I can not use.

Will never shop there again and would recommend not getting anything from the store.

We bought twin beds, quite expensive. The customer service was terrible. We used email because it was impossible to get anyone on the phone. One twin bed was a floor model, in poor condition, with a finish much darker than the other.

Many online merchants value their customers more highly. We would never purchase there again.

I shop there once and the customer service is awful. The product they show on the website looks very different from the real product and they make every excuse not to return or exchange it. I will never shop there again.

Never buy from Layla Grace

Ordered a crib. We paid an extra $100 for them to bring it upstairs, unpack it, and remove the trash. The drivers refused to unpack it saying it was not their job, and literally ran out the door as if I was pointing a gun at them. I think I know why. They had dropped it when they were taking it off their truck, and damage on the box was visible. The return policy is pretty specific that if the drivers leave before you open the box and there is damage, tough luck. Well we took pictures of the sealed box and called Layla Grace to report the delivery drivers just leaving and refusing to give the service we paid for, but the company will not return our calls. When we unpacked the crib days later, after not being able to get anyone on the phone, we found the crib frame to be completely cracked and broken in one spot. There are actually pieces of wood broken away and missing, and Layla Grace is nowhere to be seen or heard from. We paid for the crib and the $100 for the extra service and ended up with nothing. This all came after the crib took 4 months to arrive! Now the baby is coming in 2 weeks and we are stuck without a crib we can use, and no response from Layla Grace. Stay away from this company.

High Prices

They have the highest prices on the internet. We actually found instances where there price was HIGHER than suggested retail. I wish there was a better alternative to find designer pieces without the prices they charge...

    Buyer Beware

    I wish I could give them a 0! A horrible company to work with. I bought a small rug that ended up being too big for the space. They refused the return. What??? I've never heard of such customer service. You have to contact them before you return something and they refused!!!!

    Slower than Christmas Shipping!

    Every One Beware of placing any order on line at Layla Grace. I purchased Four Bath products on line from Layla Grace web Site what a big mistake that was. I received One item then another. The Bubble Bath and Perfume have still not been received so I sent them a email they said it was shipped on December the 20th 13 Days after placing the order this was a Christmas Gift. That is why I placed the order early. UPS said the package will be delivered on Jan the 2nd even to late for a New Year's Gift.

    Order from some other Web Site Don's Waste your Money or your time.

    Bought: Candle and Bath Products.

    Cancellation and refund that has not happened

    I placed an order for a lamp in October. Delivery was supposed to be in NOvember. The date came and went with no communication from the company. I emailed them and they said there was a delay- new delivery date in December. In January, again after no communication from the company as to delivery or delays, I emailed and request a cancellation and refund. I was told it would happen in 3-5 business days. We are now over a month since then and still no refund. This company is a scam. I am reporting them to the better business bureau and my bank.

    They are a drop ship company!!!

    Placed order dec 1st it is now the 11th still no product and of course they have charged my credit card and said that is the way they have always done it.

    Everything is shipping from manufacturer I was told when I saw the charges. They are a drop ship compnay therefore the slow shipping.
