    Coffee and End Tables
    We received our coffee and end tables as promised.(Order Number 3794174) I have had no problems with the company and actually was able to negotiate a discount on a second end table. The tables were exactly what we ordered. The only suggestion I would have is that the manufacturer supply longer screws for assembly. We managed to assemble everything but did have some trouble with screws that seemed to be too short.

    Love my new barstools
    I recently ordered a set of bar stools from ivgStores and am very pleased with what I received. It should be noted that when I originally placed my order I did check the warranty section just to make sure that they were returnable, and they were. I have read all the reviews here and they prompted me to check. Some were returnable and some weren't so you have to be careful. I did have a slight problem but I spoke with Connys and she resolved my issue immediately. I will shop again with ivgStores. Regarding order number 2603579.

    I've made several purchases from ivgStores -- 6 orders in total. My second to last purchase was a complex assortment of dining room and living room furniture. The overall experience was an A-. I'm happy with every product that I received from ivgStores. The only issue I had was some confusion on shipping information for my multi-piece purchase. Except for that, everything was and has been great.

    Please do not order items from their store. I had ordered a hope chest in 11/2010. Had the chest for 6 months. I hardly use it as it was for clothing storage. Went to open up the top (probably opened about 3 - 4 times in the past 6 months) Hinged ripped out of the wood. Company stated it was not a manufacturer's defect. I guess just a poor quality product.     This place deserves a zero rating.. Everyone needs to contact the Better business Bureau regarding the complaints with this company. They will continue to rip people off and make money doing it. This place needs to be closed down. Im sure there are many people that do not post the problems with them. Please I beg everyone to contact the Better Business Bureau.. They are a total scam.....

    This company is a scam. I placed an order on March 7,2011. I was told at that time everything was in stock. Called back on the 15th of March and I was told one item was on back order. I said that I wanted to talk to a mgr.I talked to Elizabeth Johnson who stated that it was on back order but she would check with the warehouse and get back to me.(she never called back) I called back and canceled the order at that time they said they would have to make sure it wasn't on the truck(they just said it was on back order)They stated at that time I might have to pay a restocking fee( I never received anything) All they want is to get money out of people .     If you order something from IVG, make absolutely sure you won't want to return it, because they will gouge you with restocking fees and shipping fees. They shipped for free, BUT when I returned the item --at my expense, for $8--they wanted to deduct $26 from the return amount for shipping fees, along with $21 for restocking fee. All this for a $115 handbag!!! If I would have known, I would have kept it and sold it in a garage sale and made more!!! Order Number 2558883 Jan Buffalo, NY

    Just terrible. This retailer should be avoided at all costs. I originally spent a lot of time and effort with the original agent to ensure the product was in stock and shippable in two weeks as I needed it for a gift. I was reassured several times this was the case. Lo and behold, when the ship date came and passed, I called to track the package and was told information would be sent shortly. I called two additional times (as they said it would take 24 hours to get the info) with the same response. Finally I was informed that the product was not availalble for 3 more weeks, and then the agent had the gall to read me the official return policy! I should have come to this site and read the prior reviews - what a disaster. Order Number 2590569.

    I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing from ivg stores. What a horrible experience. The first time I purchased a framed print. Never heard from them for 2 weeks. When I called I was informed that the item was no longer available. So they held my money for 2 weeks, didn't contact me and I never received the item. I did receive a prompt refund. I tried ordering again, this time from vaseshowroom.com. Said the order would ship in 3 to 5 business days. After 6 business days of not hearing anything, I called only to be informed that they had no idea when the order might ship and it would take another 2 business days to find out, but it was Friday and they are closed on the weekends, so now I won't know for another week. Ridiculous. How do these people stay in business. I have been an internet purchaser for years and only recently have I had problems with order fulfillment. I will never order from an ivg store again and I would recommend that no one else do so either -- very risky this business. Order number VS-257813

    I ordered a set of bunk beds with trundle and 3 weeks after i ordered the shipment had still not arrived. I received an e-mail the product had just shipped. I waited and looked for it but it never came. After five days of waiting I called IVG and asked for tracking numbers. That is when I found out the beds had been shipped 2 weeks prior to the email they sent me and returned without any knowledge to me. I called and complained they refused to reship the item and charged me $250 to restock and ship the item back. They ripped me off even after the rep I spoke with said they were going to reship the product. They are liars! order number #2470185.

    Upon talking with a manager I have obtained my refund for their defective katana blade. The customer service reps are rude but if you are having problems I suggest asking for the manager on duty, thats what I did. The MANAGER that helped was very polite and worked my problem out with no issues. My stance still remains the same though, I wouldn't purchase from Ivg anymore, manly because of the sheer amount of terror stories involved with them.

    I'm in Joshua, Tx. My order number was 2519276. I orderd a katana blade from Ivgstores. It broke from me swinging it in the air one time. They told me that I couldn't return it. The sword is obviously defective as most of their merchandise must be. Read around the web and you'll see. Avoid this company at all cost's. I have reason to believe that they are scammers.

    I purchased a chest of drawers from bedroomsetshowroom.com last year in April and the shipment time didn't really take long. When I received the delivery the box appeared to be in good condition, but after removing the box I noticed the frame of the chest was seriously damaged, as well as the slats to hold the drawers and some other pieces had been knocked off the interior structure into the drawers. I contacted ivgstores and they promptly refunded my payment for the dresser and gave me an option to trash it. So I kept the dresser, and had it repaired through a furniture repair company for even less than what it cost online. Overall, the chest itself is a beauty and of good quality. However, now I understand why the prices are so reduced on the site. I suspect the products are already damaged, and you get what you pay for. Honestly I wouldn't purchase anything from them again, and would definitely have to go with someplace local. Because even if the product isn't damaged when it leaves the manufacturer, it has to go through too much before it gets to you... so there's no telling what you'll end up with by the time your order arrives.

    I was looking for a specific bar stool at it was available at the lowest price (approx. $200) at ivgstores.com. After reading several negative reviews online, I was a bit wary about ordering from them. However, their getting a favorable BBB (Better Business Review) rating significantly increased my trust in them and so I decided to take a chance and place the order. My research also indicated that for most products ordered through ivgstores.com, the item ships directly from the manufacturer/wholesaler/distributor to the customer. It was the same in my case. The item arrived in perfect condition. On the ivg web site, it was described that the item would ship in 1-3 business days. It actually shipped after 5 days. This is why I am giving ivgstores a 4 star rating rather than 5. I contacted customer service once (via e-mail and telephone) to inquire about the shipping status and I am happy to state that their customer service is quite good. It was a pleasant overall experience buying from them and I will likely order again from ivgstores.

    Warning: Most returns not accepted. Be very careful when placing an order with Ivgstores. They are very sneaky about your ability to make a return for items that you would normally expect to be able to return, such as a play tent. Order number: 2374314

    Ivgstores clearly states "satisfaction guaranteed", and its return policy indicates that returns can be made by obtaining a return code. Unfortunately, there are exceptions. The note is cleverly hidden in small print among less important information. (It's under a tab next to Reviews.)

    What's interesting is that once the customer service rep rejected my return and brought the exclusion to my attention, it appears very few items are returnable. At least I couldn't find any that didn't have a disclaimer.

    The merchandise was extremely shoddy and they will not accept a return altough ther return policy is posted on the website. Their dfinition of manufacturers defect is differnt from most peoples. I would stay away from anything these folks sell. The picture is much different fromthe actual prodct.

    Beware, anything that you order from here is non-returnable. Very disturbing in the year 2010. I would choose another vendor, presently I am stuck with a useless $500.00 set of chairs and they will not allow exchanges even if I pay freight and my exchange is for a more expensive item.

    IVG store is a total scam with an office full of ignorant and rude customer service representatives. Please do not shop here unless you want to get robbed. I was order number IVG-2066197. The company will not let me cancel the order even though I have no received the item in a timely fashion. Additionally, they will not provide me with the white glove shipping that I paid for. Terrible terrible business. I feel like I just gave away $1000 to a terrible company.

    PO 183762, Ca ...Im writing this review for my grandmother because she doesnt have a computer. She purchased a crib set for my sister because she was expecting. Well the items never were delivered. The baby has been born and is now 8 months old. The crib has never been delivered. My grandma called IVG Stores several times to find out where the crib was before the baby was born and they kept telling her that is was on backorder. My niece was born and didnt have a crib to sleep in so we went and purchased one from the store. IVG Stores will not let her cancel the order because IVG Stores wants to charge her shipping and handling/restock fees on something that is on BACK ORDER and NEVER RECEIVED.They tell her it is on back order until December 2010 now. Also they say it is a special order. Well it obviously hasnt been made yet so why? When my grandmother was telling me all this stuff I realized that it was the same company I also had problems with. I've ordered a lot of items on line and NEVER had to deal with such problems and a Company with such bad customer service. I think this company may be a front to make money and scam on people. BEWARE because you could order from this company unknowingly thru a manufacture and then you will be out the money and the merchandise At this time my grandmother will continue to dispute with her credit card company and hopefully win. The crib is no longer needed and she wants full credit and not have to pay for shipping or restocking fees on something that has never been shipped and is on backorder. We will bet that this company will not help. Also she wanted to talk to a supervisor and was told Liz would call her back but to this day Liz has never called her back. DO NOT BUY FROM IVG STORES. The few good reviews must be employees that are getting paid to review. Because this is the worst company and my family will NEVER purchase from them again. Also before any on line ordering we will make sure that IVG is not involved. The owner JON should be Fined and have to do some time for stealing from his customer's. He's no different than a Bank Robber. Because he is stealing money ...We give this company a NEGATIVE NEGATIVE 5 REVIEW... DO NOT BUY!!!!!

    Update to post #90700. I won the bet -- no one from IVG called me, so today I called them to find out the status of the refund that they were supposed to send me on September 27. Today they are telling me that accounting has posted a notice on my account stating that they are sending a paper check on October 15. I will not be holding my breath to see how long it actually takes for them to send my refund. It's not about the money, it's about their inability to do what they say they are going to do. Check out the Better Business Bureau for their information. There is a long list of suppliers that I will NOT be doing business with in the future.

I received my credit card statement and saw that I already been charged for my merchandise. so I called the 800 to see where my item was and told it was on back order. I disputed it on my credit card and still waiting for reply. I waited a few more weeks and then called the 800 # again and they said it was on backorder. Finally 5 months later I received the item and it was damaged. Well I called IVG and they said I could return it however I would have to pay shipping and handling and restocking fees because there is a no return/no refund policy. The item was delivered 5 months later than promised and then delivered damaged. Why do I have to pay for shipping and handling and restocking fees on damaged goods. This store is a Scam and should be shut down.

    I always read reviews before I order, this time I let the little logo "A Top 500 Internet Retailer" sway me, plus I finally found just what I wanted. I ordered a set of tables (NightStandStore.com Order Number 1852062)and on July 23, 2010 the payment was taken from my PayPal account and I received an email with an estimated ship date of 8/23/2010. Since there was no delivery or contact, I sent an email on 9/2 asking for a status, got a response that the new ship date was 9/15/2010. 9/15 came and went with no merchandise and no contact from anyone. On 9/23 I cancelled the order as it still did not arrive and no response from IVG. On 9/27, I talked to Steven Bellamy and he assured me that a paper check was on the way. This morning I called again to check the status of my refund. To date no paper check, no refund to PayPal and they are supposed to call me to tell me where my refund is. (Anyone taking bets on this one?) Incidentally, payment was by PayPal and their policy is through their Buyer Complaint Process. "you must file a Dispute in the PayPal Resolution Center within 45 days of the date you sent the payment. Once you have done so, you should attempt to resolve the Dispute directly with the Seller." so don't count on them to help you. If you, like me had to wait more than 45 days for a delivery date. In the meantime they still have my $$.

    this is my better business bureau number.BU-1910056 was my order number. I live in Tacoma, WA. I am not satisfied with the service of ivg store: bunk-beds-and-loft-beds.com. I ordered the bunks and mattresses in August on a weekend and the web site said they would be shipped later in the week. I found later that week that the bunks were now listed as backordered on the web site. I checked my email and sure enough, I had two emails from them. the first that I read stated that they were on back order and I would expect them 9/13 to 9/18/2010 plus or minus a couple of days. the other email said my order had been shipped and gave me a UPS tracking number. As it turns out, they split the order of mattresses and bunks. I received the mattresses but had nothing to put them on so they are in my basement, unopened and in original shipping package. I wait until 9/21 and still have not received the beds and I contacted the customer service line. I spoke to a nice customer service rep that said he would check to see what could be done and that he would contact me that day, but the mattresses could not be returned. At this point, I pressed the issue, and confirmed that yes, I would hear from them before they closed at 4pm eastern time 9/21/10. This of course did not happen, and I am frustrated that I can't return mattresses that do me no good without beds. The next day, I do get another email from a different customer service rep.

    So, I contacted the BBB at this point. I would have been satisfied if 1. I had received the bunks if either the first or second promise date had been accurate.
    2. If the bunks could have been replaced with another set that would have been mutually agreed upon. or
    3. Return of mattresses and full refund for my order.
    Instead, I have to wait for my order and hope this time it really will come? about 2 months after the original order. in the mean time they hold on to my money for services not provided. I feel I can not trust them since they have failed to provide me with the service. They have lied to me about contacting me and have been delinquent in notifying me continued delays. I do not trust them, I will not ever utilize them again and I do not recommend them. If you choose to, then I wish you good luck and hopefully you have better luck. I suspect it can't be worse.

    I ordered a table and chair set from IVG. After reading the negative reviews I was really concerned about not getting my order. However, unlike the reviews I read, they responded to my e-mail asking about shipping he next day, they didn't take the money from my account until the item shipped, and I received the table and chairs about a week after I ordered them in good condition.

    Order # 1684988---Initial contact was made in early June, check for $2,000. was mailed, cleared and we were told on 6/21 the order would be shipped on or about 8/2. Original estimate was 10 days from clearing of check! Next revised ship date was 8/16. Today is 8/26 and we have been told they will ship "next week".The remaining chairs needed for our timeshare units will NOT come from IVG Stores, you can be sure! On each occasion, I have spoken to Jasmine and when I asked to speak to the sales person, he was busy and could not speak to me. Jasmine does NOT need to be the one catching flack and making apologies---Let HIM be brave enough to call or speak me if he wanted my business. I would give ZERO stars if it were an option!

    DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE (rating below 0). I wish I had read the reviews below before ordering from this website because the common problem is that you do not get your merchandise however they take your money. Most companies charge your account on the ship date. IVG tells you an early ship date, in this case 7/31/10, charges your account and then tells you product is not available until 10/30/10. You then do not have the merchandise or the your money. I am so surprised that this has happened so many times.

    If I could give this company less than a 1 rating, I would. I ordered a desk from them that they claimed on their website would be shipped out in 1 business day, it is now a MONTH later and I still have not received the desk. The company Home Direct USA that IVG gets to deliver their furniture is horrible. They picked up the desk from the warehouse over 7 days past the last day they were supposed to pick it up, then it sat in an Atlanta warehouse for a week, and now it has been sitting in Indiana for 3 days when the last day it was supposed to arrive in my office in Washington, DC is today. Neither IVG nor Home Direct will help me or even take my complaints seriously. I spent hundreds of dollars for shipping, which is taking over a month.

    After reading through the reviews below I am curious if the dissatisfied customers are aware that IVG does not "stock and ship" the product. The items are dropped shipped directly from the vendor to the customer. IVG never touches the product.

    As a long time retail Buyer I'm surprised IVG does not refer issues of damaged or incomplete shipments to the vendor. It seems IVG has negotiated bad agreements with their vendors when it comes to customer service issues.

    Unfortunately, I did not check reviews before ordering from this company. THe long/ short is that I ordered a headboard online which clearly stated shipping in 7-9 business days. A month later, I hadn't heard anything, so I emailed- no response so 5 days later, I called. THe operator said to please allow 48 hours from time of sending email so they could contact the manufacturer. When I told her it had been 5 days already, she said they just opened the email, so the 48 hours started then! More waiting,.... I get my credit card bill and they had charged the total price (almost $500) to my card the week before so, I assume it has now shipped- nope, and won't be for another 2 weeks. So, almost 2 months after ordering and 1 month after being charged full price for it, I open a letter from freight company saying that I'm about to be charged DAILY warehousing fees b/c no one is home to accept this delivery that I knew nothing about (no notes left and we work all day!) Since we were leaving the country the next day, I asked a family member to wait at our house in order to receive this headboard. Because she is elderly and unable to open and inspect this huge package very well, she didn't see the 2 gashes and complete corner chipped off and she signed for it. So now, we are stuck with a $450 piece of junk (very poor quality- not even real wood!) and I have learned a lesson about reading reviews-ALWAYS read them! The numerous times I called, the people (only operators!) were very cordial, but they do not know the merchandise or how to help solve problems. All the ratings on this page seem to be a 1 or a 5- very suspicious. Please don't risk losing your money and giving yourself a stress headache.

    I previously left horrible feedback for this company due to a damaged coffeetable that I had ordered. I emailed a few times with no results, then finally a month after my initial email I received an email and a phone call. I was given a credit so that I could have the coffeetable repaired. I am satisfied at this time, I do wish that the response to my complaint had been faster. But at this point I will order from this company again, because the coffeetable is beautiful(except for the mar) and the price was great. So crossing my fingers for future orders.

    I purchased a dining room set from IVG. There was a back order which I was informed of at the time of ordering. I could have chosen not to order my set but I had no problem with waiting because I was paying 1/3 of what I had seen the exact same set on another internet site. The set came within four weeks which is what I would have expected from any retailer. When I called after delivery the service person was extremely nice and helpful. I will look at the IVG site first next time because I think so much of their marketing and their service people.

    I bought a Wonderful Bed from these people...back in April...It came quickly apx 1 week..and WAS FAR cheaper then any bed in the Stores around me in a 45 mile radius..and the QUALITY was amazing...I couldnt be happier...its just Beautiful...THE SAME BED ON SALE in the store by me was DOUBLE the cost...and didnt include shipping and would have taken 3 weeks to get it to my house...I love this company..and I will be back for further purchases!!

I did lots of looking on-line at multiple websites and then I stopped when I found the coffee table that worked best for my decor and price range.     I was emailed by the company and asked to submit a rating, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Mixed review - we ordered a porch swing and really enjoy it - however - after it came I wrote the store and questioned why the finish was different than described and NEVER EVEN GOT A RESPONSE. If you purchase a product you are happy with, then all is well. I hate to think what I would have been up against if I had a serious problem. Haven't had this problem with any other online retailer and I internet shop frequently.

    I had a wonderful experience with this company. I bought a vanity bench, which I already knew was backordered. When the backorder date was extended by a week, I received both an e-mail and a phone call from the company well in advance advising me of that. The manufacturer caught up on their orders, and I ended up receiving the bench a month before I expected it. It arrived in perfect condition, and was very well packed. The bench is absolutely beautiful and I love it. It is exactly as pictured and described on their website, but seeing it in person it is actually much better quality than I even thought. I am extremely happy and pleased with the product itself, the shipping time, and the customer service.

    I've ordered a wood bench with a leather seat, two end tables and a cocktail table on three separate occasions. I received all of those orders within the time frames I was given. The quality of those items either met or exceeded my expectations considering the low prices that I paid for them. I can't comment on their customer service because I did not have reason to contact them. I am not an Ivgstores employee and I do not know anyone who is. I am just a satisfied customer who will not hesitate to shop with them again.

    I purchased a bed frame from IVGstores a couple months ago. The item I received was in perfect condition and even better than I had expected. The picture online doesn't do it justice. I couldn't be more happy. Quality bed at a low price.

    Shipping was a bit slower than I had hoped for, but not unreasonable considering the item to be shipped.

    I cannot speak intelligently about their customer service as I had no reason to call.

    I would/will buy from them again.

    PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had found this forum before I bought a coffeetable from thsi company. The coffeetable is different than the picture, there are 4 drawers, so if you really wanted that large bottom drawer, it doesn't exist. The table is gorgeous, BUT tape was used on the top of the table and I can not get all of it off. Second the table top has a deep circle where the finish is off, paint and all. The hole is so deep that you would have to sand the top and repaint to make it even . I have contacted IVG and have received no response. I tried posting a review on the table and IVGstore didn't post it.

    I recently ordered a gift for my boss's birthday from Ivg. I received an e-mail that it would be shipped several days later. I was afraid it wouldn't make it in time for his birthday, so I called customer service and 2 or 3 days after placing that call, I received the gift Fed Ex'd and WELL in advance of my boss's bithday!     Shopping w/this company, IVG Stores (DinetteSetShowroom.com) is a find. I had to wait just a little bit longer, a week, but it was worth it (It's a popular design). This Dinette has a wider & longer table, and the chairs are very sturdy, and for the price I could not have done better because I've tried shopping locally, as well as thru several online stores. The driver even helped me get it up the stairs, Yes there are people who care & to tip them is diserving.

    We will be using everyday, just like our other one. This dinette is much more appealing and can be for casual or formal type dining. Very sturdy construction, both the table & chairs so it should last even longer than my old dinette, which was of weaker quality. The chair cushions are thicker too. Very comfortable and very nice!
    The only thing I did not like about it was that when I went to put the cushions on with the 1 1/2 screws they give you, and the slanted pre-drilled holes they make for you, I had to buy 3" screws to make it fit to screw into the back of the cushion, but other than that since I put it together it's perfect!

    The worst store I've ever dealt with on-line. They misrepresented a product that I was looking for, sent me only the replacement instead of the entire product then told me that it was ordered wrong. That was in October. It's now May, and I'm again looking for the product. They still have it advertised for the entire product at the replacement price. I'm betting it's still just the replacement included.
    DON'T ORDER WITH THEM!!! They scam you and then take forever to get a refund.

    This is the worst company I've ever dealt with!! Never use this company. The prices looki great but if you never recieve your order it makes it hard to enjoy it.
    I recieved an email to days after the order was place saying my order will be shipped in a week I thought great. three weeks later after two more calls and my frustration growing they tell me its back ordered and will be three more weeks. WTF! I asked if I could get a discount on the shipping they said no and offered me 10% off. I said I wanted to speak to a manager and they said they would have one call me. Meanwhile no call and they just put the charge on my card for the whole amount. The charge shouldn't go throught till the order is shipped.
    Do yourself a favor pay a little extra somewhere else its is worth it. I promise you.

    Full disclosure: I'm an ivg employee, and I have nothing but great things to say about our customer service team, which is entirely based in Florida and more accessible -- and fluent -- than any other internet customer service staff I've dealt with. They work long, unconventional hours to get the most timely information from our vendors and relay that information back to the customers. They're prompt and responsive -- I've done a test as a "customer" and been very happy with the service -- and they have to be! The founder of the company is just steps away.

    I placed in order for a gorgeous bedroom set that I have falling in love with from IVG on March 17th 2010. At the end of March I e-mailed them to know when I would receive it because I have not received a shipping notification. They said it would ship out shortly. I called again in April and was told that it would ship on April 16th, and I should receive it 5 days later. On the 25rd I e-mailed and they told me "oh, it's back ordered for another week." At this point I am thinking what are they making it or something! My husband called and complained that it should have been here a month ago and we got a 250 dollar discount. I have yet to received my furniture but honestly had not found a bed-set for that price like that style I am willing to wait. My mattress is on the floor! I am not happy that they never contact their costumers to tell them the status on the shipment , if it's back ordered or no longer in stock. I also don't like that they claim they will ship items within 5 business days. They should be more on top of things. They should know the inventory and not misrepresent themselves. If they fixed these things they would get a heck of a lot less negative reviews.

    DO NOT buy from this store EVER!!! Or you will be seriously dissapointed. We bought a bedroom set (unfortunately, we did not read the reviews of this store before buying). They screwed up the whole order. Instead of a single dresser we received a double dresser. We also were charged twice for a chair and a mirror. We did receive two of each which we didn't order or need. It's impossible to return the items. Noone calls back even though they say they will call 100%. It's impossible to get the credit for the wrong items paid. And we can't get the single dresser we originally purchased. It's been a month we are trying to resolve these issues peacefully. They just keep on telling that "in two business days" somebody will contact you to schedule a pickup and deliver the correct item. Never happens! We are going to wait for another week. If they don't resolve anything then we'll file a law suit against this company.
    NEVER-EVER deal with this company!!!

    Read what you're getting very carefully. The people they have working for them are just phone operators. They have no knowledge of the products that they're selling. If you don't have total knowledge of what you are buying from them, don't buy it. You will be disappointed for sure. The phone people treated me kindly, but none of them knew what they were selling me. I bought gas logs for my fireplace assuming all parts would be included. Wrong!!! Had to swallow my anger long enough to place yet another order for the SEPARATE burner to make the thing actually work.. Bummer and a half. Should have known.

    I ordered an outdoor lounge chair in January; paid instantly; and expected it to be shipped within the week to my beach house.

    IVG 'charged' my credit card immediately.

    In April 2010, I learned that the lounge chair had not been received at my beach house. I instantly sent an email to IVG to find out if lost, etc--I learned that IVG had not shipped and, in fact, did not know when/if the chair would ship. They had no intention to contact me.

    They had 4 months of 'my' money and had no internal system to alert customers of back orders or non-delivery.

    I give them ONE star rather than '0" because they promptly refunded my money (however, I note, that NO interest was refunded!). Ethical?

    Horrible Company, I ordered a king size bed online Feb. 26, I had to call customer service four times to get shipping confirmation. On March 16, I finally received my bed. It was packed in two long cardboard boxes. The delivery guy hurried up and left before I could inspect my goods. When I opened it the bed was broken in several places I called IVG stores customer service they told me to submit phots and details stating what was wrong with my merchandise. I have not received word yet on my replacemnt and I have been calling every other day. This company should be put out of buisness.

    I filed a formal complaint with the BBB.

    I’ve watched ivgStores grow for 7 years, and we were one of the first customers who bought some patio furniture as a gift. It was excellent quality, and we have been very pleased with their personalized service. They have been adding lots of new suppliers and I have spoken with the owners (it is a family business) who have worked very hard to get all their suppliers to comply with accurate inventory reports. This company has been adding staff so they can be able to keep things very personalized and get to problems like this faster. I think they are like their own stimulus program, creating all these new jobs. I am a businessman and I understand when customers get frustrated, but ivg is a great company and they work hard for their customers. I would not hesitate to order from them again and again.

    I just read all of the negative reviews about IVGstores and feel shocked. I have received a dining room table, china cabinet, and computer armoire all in a timely fashion. The delivery men were helpful and the furniture was in great condition. I would definitely buy from this company again.

    I purchased a very nice standing coat rack from this company. It was a bit of a wait because the overseas manufacturer was slow. IVG kept me informed and I trust them.

    I ordered IVG-1452920 a bike which was suppose to ship in 1 day but 4 days later and it still has not shipped. Customer service was no help and still have not a response from the e-mail sent. The price was OK but after reading the reviews, I would rather spend the 15 dollars and buy from a reputable company that says what they do. Now, hoping it will ship and it will not be damaged when it arrives.

    Although their prices are really reasonable, ivgstores has such poor customer service that I cannot recommend them at all. It takes 3 emails to get them to answer at all. On the phone they know nothing. The product ships, and they don't even know it. I got a "shipment notification" through google a week after the product had been delivered. They send out furniture to a residence in an 18 wheeler. Their inventory is off and they don't tell you about it until you've emailed multiple times and gotten a little angry.

    I ordered a loft bed, desk chair and dresser for my son and it has been a nightmare. The first delivery arrived nine days after the order, not bad. Problem was most of the boxes were damaged. After looking at the damaged boxes I accepted all but one, the bookshelf, which holds up half the bed. I refused delivery and the driver filled out some paperwork and gave me a tracking number. I opened the rest of the boxes and one of the boxes that was not damaged contained the dresser. Well the top right dresser drawer that contained the hardware for the bed had the front face half pulled off and a dime sized dent in the top. I called ivg and negotiated a $200 settlement because I figured I could fix it and didn't have to deal with returns. After a week or so I hadn't received any shipping info on the bookshelf. I called and found out that they noted that I accepted $200 in exchange for the undelivered bookshelf. Once I had that straigtened out I was told I would receive a phone call or email in a few days with delivery info. Another week and nothing. I called back, got the runaround and was told they were waiting for the shipping company to return the damaged piece before the sent the new one. I told them I was in florida and would be happy to pick it up on my way back to Pennsylvania. They said it shipped would ship from california. A few more days and phone calls and we received info that the replacement had been shipped. Four days later TWO replacements showed up..., both damaged. I said to the driver that the one box had the exact hole as the last one. He assured me it wasn't the same because the original is still sitting on their dock and he saw it there 'this morning'. I called ivg again and was told a replacement would be sent. I requested a different shipper and demanded it ship before the end of the week or I would involve Visa and my payment protection. Day later and no call. Called againg the next day and was told the earliest they could ship was Monday. Told them noway. I want to return it all and receive a complete refund. Was then told that for that vendor there is a no refund policy. (Check out their sight and read the nice comments on returns. It doesn't say anything about no returns). I ended up calling the manufacturer and was assured it would ship Friday and received many apologies. Also just finished filling out paperwork with Better Business Bureau.

    On December 25, 2009 I placed an order for a 9 piece dining room set. The delivery finally arrived on January 22, 2010 2 week after IVG Stores said it would be delivered. Upon arrival we opened all of the boxes and found that we had 2 pieces damaged. I notified IVG Stores that 2 pieces were damaged they said that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for a new shipment to arrive. I called 2 weeks later to find out that I needed to send proof of the damages to IVG Stores. It's a good thing that the delivery company sent an inspector to investigate the damages to see if they were at fault. I sent that report and and gave the damage department 1 week to get back to me they did not so I called them. I was told that they were backed up, (uuummm I wonder why?) the rep. I was talking to said to said that she would put in a replacement order. She said that it would take 5 to 7 days to deliver. I gave them another week to contact me for the delivery and again I called them back. I was told to track the delivery online through my account. There was nothing there, the only thing there was the original order. I called today to find out the status and I am being told that they have no idea and that I will be emailed by the end of the business day. Let's see almost three months and I am still waiting for the replacement pieces to be delivered. It really annoying that I have to continue to call to get things moving or to get unclear answers. I am beginning ti think that I am getting the run around.

    See chronology below:
    Jan 3, 2010. My wife orders two three drawer file cabinets from IVG via Internet (obviously w/o reading customer reviews)
    Jan 12, 2020. Cabinets shipped
    Jan 14, 2010 Cabinets received.
    Jan 17, 2010 Began to assemble cabinets:
    Opened first box, and no instructions included.
    Checked web site for IVG and manufacturer (Winsome Trading Co.) for instructions. None found on either web site.
    Debated about opening second package, because of strong language about condition of packaging to return.
    Decided to open second box, and good luck, instructions included.
    Assembly is a little tricky. Best done with two persons, or one person and some type of workmate bench to hold parts stable. Definnitely best with power tools vs. hand tools. Also, one part was marked incorrectly, and had to disassemble and reassemble to make work correctly.
    Started on second cabinet, but all hardware (screws, bolts, etc) and handles were not included in this box. Much of the hardware is custom. You cannot go to Home Depot and get what you need.
    Jan 18, 2010 called IVG. Got past the automated answering sytem that wants to funnel you to sales, and finally got to service department. Explained issue to them, and gave them numbers of missing parts from the instruction sheet. They indicated they would contact manufacturer and have the missing parts shipped. Were told they would send email in 24-48 hours telling us when parts would be shipped. Never recieved any communication from IVG.
    Jan 21, 2010. Hardware shipped by Winsome Trading via USPS.
    Jan 27, 2010. Hardware received, but no handles.
    Jan 27, 2010. Called IVG Service Desk and explained situation to them. Same person investigated and investigated and said handles were not shipped. Do not know if fault of IVG or Winsome Trading. Was told handles would ship in 5-7 business days.
    Feburary 16, 2010. Handles still not received. Called IVG. Got a new person. She investigated. Was told the person who handled my first inquiries had been fired. Asked what that meant. She said it meant the handles probably were never ordered. She indicated she placed the order and the handles would be shipped in 5-7 business days.
    March 8, 2010. Handles still not received. Called IVG. Got a new person. He investigated and said handles were shipped via FedEX on March 4, 2010. Checked FedEx tracking number. Package (hopefully the handles) to be received approximately March 10.

    Bottom line.

    9 days to process original order
    Two boxes received, both missing important information and / or parts.
    4 phone calls and nearly two months later, order still not complete.

    I purchased a black and white chaise from Ivgstores the night of 2/19/10. Ivgstores was selling it for $100-300 less expensive than other sites. Usually I'm very cautious and do my research prior to big purchases but this was a little bit of an impulse buy. After purchasing the chaise I started to look at reviews. I was embarrassed by my lack of research and knew this probably wouldn't bode well. I tried contacting my credit card company but it was after hours so I couldn't speak with anyone. I decided I'd let it run its course and this would be a lesson learned. I received an estimated ship date of 3/5/10. I was pleasantly surprised when FedEx delivered my chaise 2/25/10 (less than 1 week after my purchase!). I couldn't believe it. I love my chaise - although it does have a factory smell I'm trying to air out. I couldn't be happier with my purchase but maybe I'm one of the lucky ones.

    Do not order from IVGStores. This store has THE WORST customer service ever. It's been a month and I am still waiting for a replacement to a damaged wheel. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM when they say they'll send you an email for shipping or anything. Stay on the phone whatever you do - do not expect them to call you back. Oh and that little survey they send - don't expect anything but satisfied comments to get posted to their website.

    I am sssooo disappointed My husband is off work due to an injury. I was thrilled that I could get him 12 puzzles. I was sent 6 puzzles and the others were the exact same. I had to call 2 numbers was hung up on 3 times I was suppose to hear back in 48 hours and nothing. I am going to call the charge company and see if i can stop payment on the charge. I would have been a great customer but I will never buy from them again.

    We ordered AJ Boyd folding doors from ivstores. I did not see the reviews till after I had already ordered the door. After reading the reviews we were were concerned that we may never get our doors.

    Our doors were shipped to a wrong address so we called AJ Boyd directly and they promptly shipped us new doors so do not know whose mess up it was really.

    Overall we were were very happy with the transaction and ivstores were about $100 cheaper than any other online vendor. So worked for us!!!

    Yes, I have been scammed by IvgStores.
    They claim to have shipped me a table that I did not receive, did not order and do not want. They say they will take the table back and refund me minus a shipping and restocking fee. I don't know that it was shipped or restocked. No papers were sent to me regarding the purchase or its shipment. Only a call came to ask where to deliver it. It is obvious that IvgStore has earned its low customer rating. I can't understand how this company managed to get a rating as high as 1.9. They must be stuffing the ballot box. They will deal with my credit card company next, and on from there if there is no satisfaction.

    We purchased a storage bed from this company and are very satisfied. The overall quality is good. The drawers are so-so, but the frame, headboard, footboard and shelves are well constructed and easily assembled.

    After reading review from others, we though "OMG! what have we done!" But we have to say our experience was good. Communication from the company could have been better, but overall a good experience. Shipping was as promised.

    This is the worst online company I have ever ordered from. Customer service should be rated a 0 along with the company. I spent $2400 with this company and my first shipment of an entertainment center came in damaged and the following week my leather sectional came in damage. I was told to send picture and they would be sending me a replacement and so far I'm on day 14 of waiting. Their communication sucks and there is no way of reaching a manager. Shoppers please beware and stay away from this company. I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered from this company.

    I too agree with the reviews on line, the worst customer service that I have EVER,EVER dealt with. I also tried to reach the company by email(3 time, with no response) spoke with 4 different customer service reps trying to find out info.about the order and who it was EVEN being shipped by, was always told would they would response back to me in 48hrs. ( in the mean time the order was shipped to the wrong address-which I tried to correct several times and speak with someone about. Company did not provide any kind of shipping# or who the carrier would be delivering the package. And by the way they took the money out of my account with the item being on backorder... but after the other reviews I feel luck that I FINALLY got my order. I don't know if I will ever do business with Google again if this the kind of companies they deal with. I will stay with Overstock.

    IVG Stores is a the worst web based store I've ever come close to dealing with. I didn't get the merchandise although they charged my credit card.
    They can't be reached by phone...just a machine and don't respond to emails. I'm now dealing with the Better Business Bureau in the hope of getting my $400 back. STAY AWAY FROM IVG STORES!

    I'm very unimpressed with IVG. I placed an order on 12/21/09 and after several emails, phone calls, and waiting, found out today, 1/8/10, that my order had not shipped yet. I was told I would receive it over a month after the initial order date so I canceled the order. I did speak with several great employees at customer service, and although they did what the could, I still had to wait over 48 hours to find out the status of my order. I won't be ordering from this store again. This is an online store to avoid.

    I ordered a bedroom set on the 1st of dec 2009, and was promised to get it delivered in 2 weeks. Today is Jan 5th and they still say they will get the product by end of the week and would ship the next week. I have no idea how long this is going to take to deliver. I am also paying interest on my credit card since they already charged me from the day I gave the order. I don't know when this will arrive and in what shape.

    I would give this store a negative five star if I could. They don't even deserve the one star option that I chose! I bought a youth bedroom set: platform bed with captain headboard, nightstand, and dresser. Upon ordering and paying, this company stated that the bed was on back order. I was ok with that since we were redoing my son's bedroom paint. Six weeks later the boxes arrived. Each and every piece was damaged. The nightstand was completely broken. And the worst part was only half of the bed arrived. On contacting customer service, I was told to send them photos to prove all the damages. I did that, via email. Their customer service people never responded unless I called them several times. I finally had to request a manager who gave me lip service on how their lack of response wasn't ok and she would give me a 10% credit on my charge. That never happened. She would tell me that she was in touch with their warehouse about delivery time but then wouldn't ever contact me to let me know the status. Some of the damaged items were replaced. I got a shipment of drawers that I didn't need. But the missing half of the bed frame never showed up. They weren't ever able to let me know if they were indeed sending it or not. They have stopped responding to my calls. I was scammed by them. I wish I had done some research on the company before I purchased from them. I have since found that some people have had the same experience as mine. Some people don't even get what they ordered at all! Do not buy ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

    this site is full of misleading and blatantly false advertising. i ordered leather covered dining chairs that arrived as vinyl. they offered 10% discount. they have NO leather covered chairs in my price range, even though there are numerous chairs that are described as: luxurious leather covered seat cushions. not good in customer service either. do not pick this website to buy furniture.

    Ordered office furniture after checking BBB rating of IVG. BBB rating was solid but IVG IS NOT. Was told order status would be reflected on site and email wold be sent which it wasn't. I got a call in middle of day that truck was waiting in driveway even before status was changed or email received. Five days after furniture arrived I got an email saying it had been shipped??? 2 of 5 pieces arrived damaged - one obviously at the hands of poor construction of manufacturer. Already had read return policy so I had taken pics of boxed items prior to even opening them and then took pics of damaged furniture and emailed 18 hours after I opened the boxes. Long story short furniture taking up garage, email from damage dept. vague stating they have requested piece from manufacturer but has no signature or telephone contact info. I requested that info among other things to which they ignore. Call center told me damage dept wold contact me in 3-4 days - they did not. Call center told me they can't give out name or number to damage dept but manager would contact me - she has not. I have disputed the claim on my credit card. My hope is that they do not pay it and then I want to see how quickly IVG returns calls or organizes a time to pick up the furniture when it's their money and not MINE.

    Ordered an item early so it would arrive in time for Christmas. They charged me, so I thought all would be well. Getting close to Christmas, I sent them an email expressing concerns that the order status didn't change from 'Paid'... never got a response. Called them and left a voicemail a few days later expressing more concerns and STILL did not get a response. AFTER Christmas, called again and NOW they are saying the item is out of stock and will let me know when it's back in stock... still have no idea if/when I'll be getting this item... DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

I have never recieved any notification about when the item will arrive and it's Dec. 23. I have called numerous times and emailed them twice and I have yet to get any response.     Do NOT buy from this store. I ordered a table. Six weeks later, no information, no table, nothing. I called and emailed. It finally showed up two weeks later. SMASHED! I have been trying for over a week to talk to someone about getting my money back or a replacement, but they won't call or email me back. Very, very bad customer service. Run away fast!

    We recently purchased two table lamps from IvgStores. The tall luxor table lamps were our choice and we would certainly purchase a floor lamp of the same "persuasion". Please encourage your contacts at Adesso to design and manufacture a table lamp in a brushed steel finish as a companion piece to their table lamps we purchased.

    OMG - After reading these reviews and encoutnering the exact same problem, I realize that I will never get my order by Christmas. I placed the order on the 12th as of today 12/16 they can't give me ANY information on my order - NO delvivery time - NO information. I have called every day and every day I am promised a return phone call with an update, guess what "I HAVE HEARD NOTHING" This is the first year I have used the internet to buy things for Christmas and this is the LAST time. IVG you should be ashamed. Your customer service is poor.

    six weeks with no contact, no update, and no merchandise. Rude customer service, excessive wait times, unannounced "hold" and lots of attitude. Still waiting for a refund of my money - they took my money immediately, but will not give it back nor deliver the product I paid for. That is theft.

    Extremely disappointing. Wanted to charge my credit card for an expensive item ( > $300) while item is on back order for undetermined period of time, and at least 6-8 weeks. This is unacceptable and likely illegal.

    My last review is just below this one. I received the second shipment from them. They instructed me to give the first damaged shipment to Goodwill. So your curious about the second shipment? Let's just say my jaw dropped as soon as I opened the box. Right there on top was damaged pieces. Imagine receiving expensive furniture and seeing big chunks of wood knocked out of it and cracks. I have been ripped off again. I am contacting someone to have ivg Stores investigated. It will be well worth my time. As far as I am concerned, they are thieves. Isn't theft punishable by law?

    I wasn't going to waste my precious time writing this review since there isn't a rating of 0. I consider this a real problem. I will never order from IVGStores again even if the product is offered free of price. It's very simple, I don't accept damaged merchadise. The piece of furniture was so badly damaged, the sight numbed me (shock). Regarding customer service: Well, I was instructed to email photographs. NOT! I had to raise my voice and show them who was the boss since they had my hard earned money! They have agreed to send me another one and will contact me in 48 hours with instructions on how to send the BADLY damaged one back. And I'm not paying for shipping. I don't feel confident I will receive it and if not, I will not stop fighting. One thing I am confident of. Based on the extent of the damage (several damaged spots - looks used), it was not done through shipping. They knew it was damaged when they shipped it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The worst customer service I have met now.
    I sent out the order on Oct 12, but until now, they haven't sent out the items.
    The worst thing is that I called and emailed at least five times to get the status of my order, but they never reply.
    I think if they can not send out the items in time, at least they should tell me the reasons for late delivery, but I have never received feedback.
    I'll never buy things in this store and suggest that you guys should be careful about this.

    I bought kitchen chairs from ivg, using the store for the first time. The chair quality was better than anything I have seen in local shops, delivery was on time., and the goods were in new condition.

    I ordered 5 barstools at a price that was higher than I could have gotten them elsewhere but did anyway. I paid $48.30 each to have them stained the cherry finish and they came 10 days later --unfinished. After contacting customer service I was told the mfr wants a picture emailed to them. I do not have a camera of cell phone to be able to send a pic and just cancel the order and pick them up. The customer service "supervisor" now tells me "I have no other options." The customer service supervisor was very curt and unwilling to work with us in anyway. I just want these things out of my garage and I cannot even get someone to pick them up!!!!!!! The products shipped were not the product ordered and reflected in all the paper work!!! Terrible customer service!!!! I asked to speak to her higher up--she told me she doesn't have one--she is it! I asked for the president or VP and she said they are not avaiable!!!! Terrib, horrible customer service!!! What difference is a picture of an unfinished barstool going to make!!!

    I ordered a table. When placing the order IVGStores.com said to expect 2 weeks for delivery. 2 days later I get a confirmation email saying it will be 6 weeks for delivery. I called the next day to cancel because I didn't want to wait that long as I needed a table right-a-way. On the first call, they said they canceled the order. I asked for a confirmation number and they said they would email, but they didn't and they didn't cancel the order. On the second day I called and spoke to Nehemie she said they canceled the order and the same thing happened. But the next day I get an email, we cannot cancel your order too much time has passed. I thought wait a minute, we're still within 5 days, mind you, and they are closed on the weekends! When I called next they wouldn't cancel the order and said that I'd have to take the order and then return it and be charged a penalty fee of 15% plus shipping. I talk to a supervisor named Sharmeesha and got nowhere.

    They don't follow their own policies and make it up as they go along. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company and we'll see where that goes. In the mean time they have my $200. I think their game is take the money and run!

    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! You may just get robbed. I'm glad I stopped at just a table!

    This is a new kind of scam - you order what seems to be a quality product, they take your money, send you a piece of junk and then make it impossible to return it for a refund.

    I have never experienced worse customer service! I received a damaged piece of furniture over a month ago and while IVG refunded my money, I am still awaiting the final word if they are going to take the damaged furniture back or if I need to get rid of it. I even called the freight company directly who has told me they wouldn't take it back. I have called 11 times for an answer - and today I was promised a call back by a supervisor but the CSR did not know her last name and would not give me her direct extension. This has been going on since July. STAY AWAY! Horrible customer service - not helpful, not very nice and have been disconnected (or hung up on) several times. Really a shame because they have a decent selection. Don't be fooled. HORRIBLE!!! If I could give them zero stars, I would.

    This store is a terrible store!!!!Stay away. I nade many attempts to work with them after they sent damaged products twice..over a month then they did not want to refund my money. I made three complaints with the better bureau and still I continue to fight.

    Non-existant customer service. VERY RUDE. Never returned phone calls or emails. First time I called customer service I was on hold for 18 minutes. The second time I waited 25 minutes before a live person answered. When I complained about the long wait times she hung up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR.

    I ordered an Ottoman. It was backordered for 2 months. After not receiving the first Ottoman after 2.5 months and no notifications from the store I cancelled the first and ordered a more expensive second Ottoman and was assured that this one was in stock. No such luck. I was just informed that this one is also backordered until August. It always takes 30--40 minutes to get thru to customer service. Just a terrible experience all around. Avoid this dealer.
