Got sent a dodgy item(cost £269)which didn't work.

Got told to send it back to them which I did 2 and a half months ago.Emailed them to find out what is happening and emails all being ignored.

It looks like I've been ripped off for just under £300

Your comment: I had thought that ibood was a worthy place to purchase some items at decent prices although I have seen similar prices elsewhere they do provide interesting selections and easy shopping.

However, their customer service is one of the WORST I have seen when it comes to refunds or returns. It reminds me of service you would have had back in the 1970's. If you have a question about delivery or, ordering etc they will email you back quickly and efficently. I had ordered a product, realised it was incorrect and cancelled it immediately - as in within 30 minutes ! I was then told that it was too late to cancel my order and it would be shipped so just to refuse it when it arrived. They had my money by then so I hoped I would get it back quickly.

Long story short, product was deliverd, I was not home it sat on my step. I took it (unopened) back to the post office - paid extra to return it and then requested my refund. That was over a month ago, I have had sporadic feedback from customer service telling me things like - sorry for the delay, the person who pays the bills was out sick and the cat ate my homework! Either ibood are in financial difficulty and cannot pay their bills or, they deliberately hold on to money so they can gain extra interest. Either way I will now go directly to their offices in Amsterdam (beauty of living in country) and request payment directly or, I will then take further action.

There is no 'forum' for people to be oen about issues and everything is done in secercy.

From this and, the fact that you can have delayed deliveries with no information feedback to questions therfore giving me that feeling of 'no trust' in this company whatsoever, I will not purchase from them again.

You can find similar items for similar prices around the web if you look yourself. Just take their offer of the day and google it.

ibood; Do not be tempted, RUBBISH

the worst customer service ever. Still waiting for refund after 14 days cancellation. Ordered goods that never appeared so cancelled order and was advised 5-10 business day refund. Still yet to receive any money or any customer service at all. They are based in Amsterdam so I have been advised by the office of fair trading that it would be difficult to get money back!

    NOT TO TRUST

    They take your money easily, but when your promotion code doesn't work nobody's returns your mails, your money is lost.

    I will never ever use ibood again.

    At first a reaction that code should work within 24hours, still doesn't work, no more reaction so the code passes it's expiring date and money is lost.

    I have tried for weeks and weeks to use this ocde (bought it in may, we are september now and it expires in a few days...)

    IBood took my money,no goods and no tracking AVOID!!

    Their customer service is non existent. I ordered a Pebble Smartstick on 29/10/14 IBood FAILED to provide me with a tracking number I have yet to receive ANY GOODS after more than seven weeks. They ignore ALL email correspondence. I requested a refund and this was also totally ignored. Ticket#2014120910003119 Ticket#2014121610004864

    Avoid

    Stay away from this company. Using a switch and bait system by informing you that there is something wrong with the product you ordered. They then want YOU to cancel plus they then want your bank details to refund the money

    3 months emailing them now.

    iBood - only marketing hooks

    iBood is another "hook" on internet business!

    Hook No 1. Two prices - first very high (price from premiere of the product - sometimes from few years before)! Second price - iBood price!!! (lower price than from premiere but you can find the same product at the same price on different websites!!!) - The HOOK is - buyer think that the offer is very best!!!

    Hook No 2. "HUNT" - many products for the very best price!!! - The HOOK is - many products for regular price and sometimes you can catch something cheaper - buyers has no time for checking real price on internet and ... ;)

    Finally iBood is an internet shop with regular prices of products and use illegal "Hooks"

    Be careful during shopping on iBood!!!

    This is a follow up to the review posted previously when I wrote asking for comments on returning 2 Oregon Scientific Weather Stations to Ibood. I have been impressed and satisfied with Ibood which is more than I can say about Oregon Scientific who did not bother to reply to my emails about their faulty products. I emailed Ibood twice as I was concerned about the cost of postage to return the goods. When they did not bother to reply I sent them Royal Mail at a cost of £37.79 as this included insurance up to £100 and tracking to Amsterdam. Ibood received the goods on 1st March 2011 and after a couple of emails for my bank details the cost of postage was in my bank on 24th March 2011 and the cost of the goods refunded to my credit card on the same day. I was a little concerned about getting my money back as, firstly, I didn't know that this company was in Holland and ,secondly, I had actually purchased the goods in September 2010. They were Christmas presents and didn't get set up till January. We then spent about a month trying to get them to work properly before deciding to ask for a refund. So 5* for Ibood an 0* for Oregon.     I am getting the run around from iBOOD with a faulty Dirt Devil. First after some time they fobbed me off to Pulse UK. They were very nice but the iBOOD model is not a UK model. I got back to iBOOD and am still waiting after first reporting this 4 weeks ago.

    I used to like this company however, their handling of the Archos misprice issues (see product forums - 15/02/09) was disgraceful. Have lost trust in the company and will not use them ever again, buyer beware!

    iBood = very poor customer service, lost time lost money

    One of the worst companies to deal with, don't expect any level of customer service.

    I like IBood- cool stuff and good prices. The only thing is that the delivery fee is always the same so for the cheaper items it doesn't make for as good of a deal.Delivery charge which is fixed can be expensive for cheaper items. Customer service response is slow, but I only had to contact them once.
