Customer serice and communication very poor

I am very unhappy with HSN overall. I have bought many many items over the years. The quality on the DG2 clothing and on Jay King Mine Find jewelry has gone down dramatically. Despite many reviews on the HSN website stating poor consistency on sizing and poor quality and quality control issues on these two lines of products HSN hasn't appeared to have addressed these issues. Then when you use their 30 day money back guarantee too many times because of these quality issues they cancel your account without warning. Their customer service told me they had sent a letter, I never received letter. I asked them to review my account and consider reopening given all the products I had bought from them over the years. They indicated that they would review and would let me know by phone their decision. When I called a month later to inquire if they had reopened my account, they indicated that they never review closed accounts and that the previous customer service agent was mistaken. Very poor customer service and very poor communication. Also they need to qualify their 30 day money back guarantee to indicate that that's as long as you don't return too many items.

  • HSN's quality and quality control have rapidly decreased on Diane Gilman and Jay King lines. Returned many items for poor size consistency and quality then had my account cancelled without notice.

    i tried to cancel my order the following day. this is not allowed. must be b 4 12 midnight of the same day(which they do not tell u). delivery is not for another 10 days. their excuse is that it is in 'process'. so u can refuse it at the door...accept it and return it within 30 days...but they refuse to accept your cancel order if it is not in the same day...why did i want to cancel...well..the reviews suggested a 2 or 3 out of 5 rating just for the product alone..and after dealing with customer service i assure u that a rating of 1 is a high mark. most of the reviews suggested that the item worked for about 1 or 2 usages so i do not want that kind of product in my home. i look forward to my return. ps...if they were not willing to credit a product that has not even been shipped then i might have been happy enough to order from them on another occasion...but now i am totally pissed and will never order again. yet another tv scam...pps..i know they must offer some good items but a return is apparently a big hassle.

    I really enjoy shopping at HSN & most of the products are really great. I've been a customer for over 20 years. I believe people would shop a lot more if the s&h charges were not so high. They should offer a one time s&h charge per total purchase like a lot of other companies offer. Sometimes the s&h charges total up to more than some of the items that are being purchased. And heaven forbid you need to return anything... yep another s&h charge on top of the one you spent ordering the item in the first place & HSN do not return that charge. In the end it will be more economical to just drive to the mall.
