Order #67312 from Bethany, Oklahoma.

Stay away from this company! It is now March 3 and we're still waiting for our order that was placed on January 17. Of course, my credit card was charged on January 17 for a product I'm still waiting on. We've had to cancel photographer appointments for graduation announcements several times due to GraduationSource's poor customer service.

We placed an order of 40 caps, gowns, tassels, and diploma covers with GraduationSource (Gordan International) on January 13. A week later, on January 19, I received a call from GraduationSource saying they were out of a particular size and asked if I would like to change the order sizes. SInce I didn't have the authority to change sizes, I asked how long a backorder would take and was told only three weeks. Therefore, I said we would wait for the backorder.

A month later, we still hadn't received the order, so I called on February 17. I was told the backordered items would arrive at GraduationSource that day or the next day and our order would ship the next week.

A week later on February 28, I called again and was told the backordered items would arrive that next week. It was obvious at this point that customer service was clueless as to when orders would arrive. I explained the problems we'd had and asked if they would ship the backordered items separately. They said it would cost us more. I stated that since this has been GraduationSource's fault they should pay the extra shipping cost but they refused. Then I asked what the extra cost would be so I could pay it, but GraduationSource refused to tell me! I was at the mercy of person on the phone.

At this point I called parents and asked to change the sizes on the backordered items and I then changed our order with GraduationSource on February 28, so we no longer had any backordered items. I was then told, on February 28, the order would ship that day.

I called GraduationSource on March 3 and the order still hadn't shipped. There was no explanation for why our order hadn't shipped within four days and they refused to give me a new shipping date.

I believe GraduationSource needs to ship our order express at their cost, but I doubt that will happen; however, I'll let you know if they do. I'll also let you know if and when we ever receive our order. At this point, I'm afraid we might not get our order before graduation.

Your comments mirror my own. I even had one of their customer service agents tell me I chose the wrong shipping company and that was why I didn't have my order, two and a half months after ordering!! I'm in Alaska and it only gave one option for shipping.
The first year I ordered from them, they were terrific! The second year, the wheels must have fallen off the company - it was terrible!!

Great source

I have been wary of some of the negative reviews from Graduation source but some last minute situations left me with little choice but to go ahead with the order.

I started tracking my order right from the start and set up a communication channel with the customer service officer to follow up closely. The officer in charge turns out to be helpful and patient. I received my order promptly.

Good value for their products and great delivery!

Excellent Service!

Because I am a procrastinator, I ordered our caps & gowns less than 3 weeks before the graduation. I received a confirmation on my order right away and then an email saying 2 were on back order. I called right away asking if I could go up a size as the graduation date was within the next 2 weeks. The lady who took my call emailed me the next day letting me know the order had been shipped. They shipped it FED-EX and was here within 2 days from the day I received her email with the tracking number. They are just what I wanted for the graduation. They look fantastic and everything fits just right!!!

    Do not order from this company. They have horrible customer service. Their manager actually told me I was snide and didn't appreicate my attitude when I was mearly asking why I couldn't be refunded 20% for the coupon I recieved the day after I ordered. She told me if they did that they would go bankrupt and they would spend all day refunding everyone's money. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. I will never purchase there again. Search around, I read reviews like this and thought it was just an isolated incident. It's not, buyer beware!!!!

    I was pleasantly surprised by the product. Very nice quality! Looks more expensive than it was. It's hard to gauge the quality of items when you order on line but when it arrived I was very happy with my purchase - it fit perfectly! Friendly support and service really helpful.

    great

    One of my friends told me about Graduation Source. it was a great experience with them. I donít know why some people give them negative. I orderd form them gown. This is a wonderful gown.This gown was fits!! The hem lands close to my ankle. I'm using it as a ministerial robe. The hat that came w it was nice and crisp without wrinkles. Great customer support .

    Very friendly

    I donít know why,others have face the problem. I ordered a graduation cap, gown, and tassel from this place. On a few days prior to the delivery date I got it.The size and shape is very good.They are very friendly and their service is very nice.I want to order again from this site.

    Great Experience!

    I ordered my caps and gowns on line and everything went smoothly. I received my complete order with no problems. They arrived on time and were exactly what I ordered. The fact that two did not fit was my fault, not theirs. My experience was excellent and I will use them again!

    Did not get my hood in time for graduation

    In February I placed an order for 2 hoods for my graduation on May 9th. I received the order in April and realized they had sent the wrong hoods. I contacted the company 5 times - 3 phone calls & 2 e-mails before a customer service representative (Ana Ribiero) agreed to help. They sent me a return label for the incorrect hoods (which I promptly returned) and said they would work on the correct order. When I contacted them again via 2 phone calls (no response to my e-mail) they stated that the expected delivery of my new hood was May 7-12, which would likely be too late for my graduation and there was nothing they could do to expedite. After speaking with a supervisor (Tara) she agreed to refund my money, send 2 "stock" hoods in the incorrect color so I would at least have something, and still try to send the correct hoods and hope they would be here in time for graduation. The correct hoods arrived May 17 - NOT in time for graduation. I contacted the company again on May 16th because I had not received a refund. At that time the representative changed her response and said the refund was only 50%. I offered to send back the stock hoods (they are unopened and unused as I was able to borrow a hood in the correct color) but they said they could not accept them.

    love it

    Recently I purchased this for my photography studio. Meets every standard I was hoping for. Very nice fabric. Very good quality. Cap and gown were perfect. Very Good Materials. The main theme that there great customer support really friendly. Reached on time. Happy about there service and quality!!!!!!

    I ordered a graduation cap, gown, and tassel from this place. On a few days prior to the delivery date it still showed processing so I tried to call them, it takes hours to even get them to answer the phone. When I finally got a rep. she said they were out of the size in the color I needed so she changed the size and said they would overnight them. I asked her five different times are you sure the new size was in stock, she but me on hold for an hour going back and fourth to check. She assured me that it would be sent, she said she talked to the shipping supervisor and they had what I needed and I would get it the next day. After about six o'clock the next day it never arrived and the order online was still processing I called back, it took only about 44 minutes from my life to get through this time. This rep. said that the order was never changed and it was no way they could get it out because shipping has to have the order before 3. The rep. just plan lied to me with no regard to my daughters graduation. And I'm still waiting for a refund back to my card. DO NOT ORDER NOTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I will not even call them a company, because I have my doubts.

    DO NOT USE GRADUATION SOURCE

    Three weeks after placing order received nothing but an email that they have my order and of course they charged me. When I called they told me the color of tassel I chose was on back order, but the back order date was two days after my order was placed to that did not make sense. Two days later received email asking if I wanted to change tassel. I responded yes and changed color so I could receive my items. Still nothing! Called back nothing had been changed and order still on back order said they fix. Still nothing spoke with a so-called supervisor who said she would personally cancel my order and call me back or have another supervisor call me back. Still nothing. Called back 2 days later still not cancelled and again was told by rep she was cancelling order and I would receive credit in 3 days. We will see how that goes. Next step is BBB and our credit card company.

    RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY!!!! TERRIBLE!

    on May 20, I placed an order for 50 caps/gowns, told me they were in stock and will be delivered on May 29. Says it on the invoice, also. I called today to see what the delivery status is and they tell me that they do not have enough to complete the order! They said they knew that when the order was placed! Now the graduates have nothing to wear. I HAD TO CALL THEM or they would have NEVER let me know. Also, I called 3 times earlier in the day and got 3 different answers. One lady even told me that we did not pay for them yet! HUGE LIE! PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD THAT THEY ARE THE WORST IN AMERICA! ORDER # 764724

    Excellent experience

    I did not have the problems described in the other reviews. I had to shuffle a bit to find the right person to take my special order, but once I found the right person (just a phone call or two), my order came in short order. The quality of the doctoral gowns, tams, and hoods were excellent. The tams come in one size fit all, but have a velcro adjustment in the back for fitting. The gowns are heavy and good quality, and the hoods are beautiful and exactly what we wanted. They quoted me at 4-6 weeks, and the robes came in just below 5 weeks. I called often because I was nervous, and anyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful.

    STAY AWAY!!!

    Stay away from this company!!! Horrible customer service. Never received my order confirmation. The rep was too busy joking with the people in the office to even hear what I was asking/saying. Would not let me speak with a manager! What kind of company doesn't let you speak with a manager if you ar unsatisfied?

    Never Again!!!

    I'm not a person who usually complains, but i am extremely disappointed with this company. My order came late. Had to pay over $250 extra just for it to come sooner.Got promised my order would be here after i paid extra for faster shipping. Tracked my products. It wasn't even in my state! Tried to contact the lady (Patricia) and she never answered my calls or email. Not even a refund. I would not recommend Graduation Source. Messed up a bunch of peoples special day.

    Terrible customer service

    Ordered 12 diploma covers to give to students who passed the GED exam during our GED Graduation Ceremony. The box arrived, and unfortunately we did not open it until graduation day, and there were only 6 covers--not 12. I immediately called customer service and was told she had no idea why only 6 shipped (they were prepaid) and for me to call back in an hour (she should have called me). When I called back I was told 6 were on back order and she did not know when they would ship. Never apologized for not informing us they were on back order. Never offered to refund our money. Nothing! Will never order from this company again.

    Shocked and Disappointed

    I have used Graduationsource for the past five years and have been happy with their service. I ordered 17 in stock robes on March 11. When I placed the order online, the delivery was after the event, so I called to either cancel the order or see if I could get a date before April 17. The contact person said that one robe was holding up the order, so I cancelled that robe, and she assured me I would receive my order in three weeks. After three weeks, the customer service representative stated that there was no evidence of my phone call or the cancellation of the single robe and she would have to write an e-mail to the shipping department to check the status. I asked is she could phone shipping to get a quick response. She said the person never answers her phone. Then I asked if she could go to shipping and ask about my order (it is at the same location). She did, but the order could not be shipped until a date later than my event. This is a small order of 17 robes. I cannot imagine what problems may occur with larger orders.

    Do not use this company. It has been a month since I placed my order and it has not been delivered. When I called their customer service department, their representative told me I could cancel the order. But, when I asked when to expect the money to appear in my account, I was told I could not cancel the order. Then, I was told the supervisor was "too busy to talk to me." Stay away from this company.

    Great service and great price

    I had a simple order of a single black matte cap and gown with a white tassel and the process was painless. At first I was a little put off by the price of the shipping costs; however, I'm glad I decided to go with Graduation Source considering the product quality and the time it took to arrive at my door. For those college students who already have to pay for expensive graduation fees and are looking to cut costs somewhere this is a great way to save money. Unlike the other reviews, I didn't have to call anyone about my order since Graduation Source did exactly as promised in terms of confirmation e-mail, date the package was sent and when the package arrived. In addition to that they gave a tracking number right away so you can see when your package was sent and where it is at the moment. Overall, as a graduating bachelor's student and someone who is skeptical about sites that offer such low prices I am satisfied with this company and their product. So, college students who need a gown and don't want to pay $60 or more at your university for the SAME cap, gown and tassel I can testify that this was an easy way for me to cut that cost in half and it was one less thing I had to worry about. Congratulations on graduating! Good luck!

    I am very please with their superior customer service!

    their attitude and care for their customer was very impressive.

    I have some problem of my recent order(kind of my fault), but they promptly solve the problem and I am very happy about that.

    Great customer service with great product and price!

    Horrible Company

    My names is Lana Khalaf from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am writing this review urging people to be aware before purchasing anything from Graduation Source. They are absolutely horrible! I ordered a sample gown and literally had it in my possession less than 12 hours and returned it back to them 2nd day priority mail in the exact same packaging I received it in. I was planning on ordering 60 gowns for my school and wanted to see the color before placing the order. They sent me an email rejecting my return claiming the item was damaged???? I looked at the color and put it right back into the box in the same plastic bag they provided. I called them and sent them an extremely polite email, but dealing with them is pointless. They are literally the worst. Please do not fall into their trap.

    Choose wisely for an important event.

    Don't choose this company. I placed my order online and was told that the products ordered were in stock. Date closing in, I called to check on my order. They told me that my items were not in stock and were going to be shipped after our graduation date, I was upset, their response? "The BEST thing we can do for you is cancel the order" 4 days away from our graduation!!

    I went to economycapandgown.com where a familiar sounding voice answered and helped me with he order.

    I paid LESS for the same products (about 40 cap and gowns) AND overnight shipping than I would have with graduation source.

    Stay away and choose wisely.

    Delayed Order, no refund, fraudulent charge

    I have not had a pleasant experience with Graduation Source. Despite paying an additional fee for 2 day processing, my order arrived 5 days late. I had canceled the order 2 days after it should have arrived - before they had even shipped it, my call to the customer service number ("if you need immediate assistance" good luck) was disconnected after being on hold for over 30 minutes, I have not received the $100 refund 23 days after Graduation Source received the return, AND I now have a $40 fraudulent charge on my credit card. Terrible service and vindictive employees.

    do not do business with this company

    do not waste your time - i place an order 2 months before i needed the items. i got an email the next day sating the item was back ordered. called the next day to cancel. now 2 months later still no items still being charged. because they want me to receive the item and then send them back. i called to ask about the order and they hung up on me
