Overall, geeks.com provides some excellent deals; some not that great more due to item choice than price. Hard drives are generally priced very well and shipping is reasonable. So, its a mixed bag, but worth sorting through via further research re: price and similar products. The "deal of the day" is generally interesting if not particularly useful, but there is the ocassional gem.

The prices on items are really good, however calling costumer care/technical Support is a nightmare no matter what time of the day or day of the week all you are going to get is a recording saying "we look foward speaking to you" "your call is important for us" but after 8 minutes waiting some one comes to the line and says "Please hold one second" and put you back on hold for another 8 to 10 minutes after that you are either disconected or get someone who tells you your order will be fixed but do nothing and you end up going thru the same process. Is it really worth it buy something at a great price if you will waste a lot of time trying to get fixed a shipping issue.

I bought this reburb Vizio 37" LCD TV from them last year for $675. It still works good and I am happy with the purchase.

Well the 2nd mouse they sent me ALSO didn't work and I tried it on 4 different PC's. I contacted them back and they didn't get back to me. I tried again and in a few days the tech guy told me that I needed to hit the "connect" button on the receiver. Well there is no such button and I told him that, and no reply for a week. So I emailed back and threatened to contact the BBB and my credit card and the next day got an email saying that they would issue me a "credit memo". WTF? These guys sell JUNK and I don't think I will be buying from them again- the trust is just not there and the customer service is pathetic.

I bought a wireless logitech mouse (a refurb) for like $11, a car AA/AAA battery charger, an LED flashlight, and a StealthSwitch wannabe called USB Foot Pedal Switch Button from them for like $34 including shipping. The order took about a week to arrive. The mouse was DOA and smelled like coffee. I contacted them about it and they said they will be sending out a replacement. The foot pedal switch came with this crappy and buggy software called Security BMW but it does the job. I was actually hoping that it could emulate a keystroke but no....

They sent the wrong item, wasn’t even close. There could not have been any attempt to double-check the order before shipping out the item they shipped. They did not provide complete instructions regarding return. Returned item is lost, probably somewhere in their "inventory control" room or in their "returned merchandise without proof of mailing" room, so I'm screwed.
