Love the old gdiapers. The ones not made in China. Now that they are made in China I have had such a problem with velcro coming off and the snaps on the liners shredding. Never had a problem with the old ones. Go China : (

Yes, I've had to have 3 of my velcro strips reinforced by a seamstress on my small gPants, no problem yet with the mediums! (fingers crossed) Also the material around the snaps does shred, they should go back to using the other material if it stood up better! Otherwise I love my gDiapers!!! :)

The City of Vancouver did a study of gdiapers' effect on municipal sewage systems:

Two issues are noted:

  • the absorptive gel gums up pumps; and

  • the cellulose breaks down nicely, but doesn't settle out. This suspended cellulose blocks the UV rays used to kill bacteria prior to the water being returned to the water cycle.

I had problems with gdiapers...my toilet completely bloked up, causing the sewage system to back up into my shower...it was a total mess and cost a lot of money to repair. I like the concept of gdiapers, but they are not as flush-friendly as they claim. The plumber advised strongly against flushing gdiapers.

Virtually perfect. THEIR INSERTS ARE FLUSHABLE!!! The one wish I have would be a good explanation of the fact as to how much more preferred it is for the environmental reasons to flush diapers in the toilet rather than through them into the dumpster - after which they will face burning or 100-200 years of decomposition in anaerobic landfill mass. Americans throw away 570 diapers per second. That's 49 million diapers per day. Only two manmade structures on Earth are large enough to be seen from outer space: the Great Wall of China and the Fresh Kills landfill near New York City...

Gdiapers are great, not sure why the linger stinks after a while, I wash before reusing again. How often do you have to boil the pads?

Over all, my son enjoys wearing gdiaper.

Thanks Gdiapers for coming out with great idea. No more rash!

Love gdiapers! No diaper rash since using them. My baby has very sensitive skin and gdiapers is the only thing that got rid of it completely. They are easy to use and once the initial investment they are worth every penny spent and saved. Love them!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GDIAPERS! They are expensive to purchase but when you add up the cost of disposables and the damage to the environment, it is way better. I couldn't afford the disposable liners or the cloth at the time so instead I bought gerber prefold for the medium and large diapers and flatfolds for the small. They work great! I would like to purchase the cloth gdiaper inserts but they are too costly. I definatley recommend Gdiapers.

We Love the gDiaper. I have been using them for about a month and have had no problems. I use the cloth inserts and they always come clean. they are so easy to change even the babysitter and Grandparents like them.

I love that the cloth inserts are reuseable and they are pretty absorbant. However, they don't seem to fit the plastic insert just perfect- many times I have to change the plastic insert as well with a poopy diaper. The plastic insert does a pretty good job of keeping the poop off the outer pant, but the pant does get wet fairly often. The biodegradable insert is great, very absorbant and fits well. I do think the cloth is worth the effort for its softness and low environmental impact.

I love gdiapers for all the reasons mentioned in previous reviews, but will have to stop using them due to the expense of the diapers themselves and the multiple plumbing issues we've had. The outer paper lining clogged up our pipes, so we then only flushed the inner core and tossed the paper in the trash. Apparently, it's still not working since sewage is coming up from the toilet and flooding our basement. Our plumber advised us to stop flushing the diapers.

I waited until my son weighed 10 pounds to begin using the size S (which is noted for 8-14 pounds) because I didn't want to risk leaking. The gDiapers have held up their end of the bargain when it comes to blow-outs, no complaints here! The liners do get nasty, so be prepared, but the little gPants stay clean. I have had one or two urine leaks just on the fold of the leg, however I was pushing the limit of changing time. I do not use gDiapers at night, as the directions indicate that you need to "double up" and that's cost prohibitive at this time.

Every day I prefill my liners (I always keep 5 or so on hand) so that when changing all I have to do is unsnap and resnap. When I unsnap a dirty liner I take out the diaper, and immediately refill for next time. This has made changing a breeze... I actually think it's faster than disposables.

I initially was flushing the inserts and had no plumbing problems, but it was too time consuming to tear, drop, swish, etc. and I didn't feel comfortable setting it aside to save for later. The company states that the inserts biodegrate after 50 days, so tossing them in the garbage (for me) is guilt free.

I highly recommend these diapers for the hybrid environmentalist.

I like these diapers, the only problem I have is that I live in a small town and no store has them in stock so the only way I can have them on hand is to order them through the internet and it seems the tax on them is a little high. The shipping is free on auto ship for the refills but at the price of the tax its almost as much as the shipping. Anyway Ill keep ordering them as long as I can afford them, its the least I can do to help Mother Nature just a bit.

We really love these diapers! I wanted to go cloth, but that freaked my husband out. I was lucky enough to come acrossed G's and we've been using them ever since! Even my husband doesn't mind them and we're about to switch over to the cloth. Couldn't be happier with this product!

I love gdiapers and have been using them for almost 8m! There is a small learning curve to get the fit just right and then its smooth sailing. They stay in the mediums forever too! They now have gcloth that I am excited to try out too. Use discount code to buy an everyday G six pack in small, medium, or large for only $40! That is $30 less than the $70 price and individually they are $16.99 each! The last day to use the coupon code is July 31st and the code is case sensitive.

Use coupon code to get $30 off a 6-pack of everyday g's at gdiapers.com! That's a steal! Love the covers, but didn't love the flushies as much as cloth inserts (from cottonbabies). Would recommend trying them out. They have a great resell value too.

We LOVE gDiapers! I use the flushable inserts AND cloth inserts. They are precious at the ball games when its too hot to have baby in lots of clothes and are eco-friendly! They even contain what would normally be a "blow-out" in a disposable diaper. Well designed.

Use code for $30 off a 6 pack of everyday g's. Good through july 2009.

We are long time cloth diaper users who decided to try gdiapers when we moved and didn't have a washer for a week. These things are wonderful! If you are a cloth diaper user, these will fit right into your routine. If you use disposables and are concerned about their effect on the environment, these are for you too! So easy to use and they work great, the disposable inserts and the cloth inserts too.

Gdiapers is the best product I found for our daughter, I wish I would have found them 5 yrs ago. Well we are environmentally conscious so we decided to give them a try. We are currently flushing with no problems. We use them both day and night (no leaks). There was a trial and error period of about a week, but we have been using them for 3 1/2 months (our daughter is 4 months) she did not fill into the small right away. The daycare staff was more than willing to learn to use them and they have found that they are very easy.

When we are out or at the Pediatrician people always ask what kind of diapers is that. I have shared the link with many of mothers, the pediatrician and have given away small gdiapers for some to try. The customer service with the company has been great. Although they are price it is worth every penny. You can also to Autoship through both gdiapers.com or Amazon (the provide a little discount with autoship). I will continue to use gdiapers until our daughter is potty trained. With Gdiapers I do not think that it will be hard when the time comes.

Give Gdiapers a try and benefit our environment!!!!!!!

Okay, so I love the diaper covers an snap in liners. But, I am not loving the disposable liners. Here is what I suggest. Get some high grade (service quality, Chineese prefolds or Indian Prefolds) infant cloth diapers (the small ones). You can fold them in thirds and fit them where the liner fits in. In the beginning (the small ones), they don't quite fit but they fit perfectly in the medium and larges. I do recommend these as they have been working pretty well for us the past six months.

I love them and do recommend them, I do not prefer them at night, but do for everything else. They are good for the earth and for your little ones. They are a little more work, but worth it for so many other reasons!

We're environmentally conscious so when I heard about gdiapers I went and placed an order on gDiapers.com. So far, so good. The quality was better than expected. Also it's good to know that no weird plastic or chemicals are in a diaper for my baby, and I'm helping to make a difference by using bio-degradable diapers.
