Wow! Wish I had found this site prior to just ordering some Homestyle Beef Stew mix; espected delivery in 4-5 weeks. It appears that all of us dissatisfied customers need to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as the Attorney General's Office. And perhaps also at the Federal level since they are involved in inter-state commerce. This collective action ought to shake them up or drive them out of business. LET'S JUST DO IT!

I ordered some plastic mugs from this company. When unwrapping them I noticed there were scratches and imperfections on every mug. I contacted the company and was told they would check with their supplier about returning the mugs and get back with me. No one ever called me back! Now it is past 30 days from order date and returns are not accepted. Plus I noticed on the website there is a 25% restocking fee and refunds are not given on postage (original or return. So even if they had accepted the return, I would have been out $22.60--even though I would not have wanted to return these mugs if they had been good quality. So I'm now stuck with 8 junky mugs that cost me $61. My advice--DO NOT order from this company unless you are sure you will be happy with the items.

This is not a real company at all. They do not answer the phone. They have a shady answering machine message. They have some phone numbers that do not even work. foodservicedirect.com is a scam. I ordered 2 6foot sneezeguards for a buffet for my restaurant and they took my money and mailed an 8lb box to Oregon when I'm in Ft Worth Texas and they are heavier than 30lbs probably. My number is 8 1 7 - 7 3 7 - 2 0 0 8 if anyone needs further information on the police report I'm going to file. SCAM SCAM SCAM order number F345440.     Not Honoring Advertised Price

    On May 29, 2013 I purchased (4) (ES78667716600) - Philips Lamps TL5C-22W/841 from Electriciansupplies.com for the advertised price of $12.05. I received a confirmation email with order number E8253. On May 31st I received an email that they had changed the price to $20.95 and would not be honoring their previously advertised price.

    I was contacted by customer service and when I informed them that this is unethical and illegal they simply sent me a screenshot of a place on their site that says Prices are subject to change. This does not make it any less illegal

    Beware - Avoid

    Order Number F305040 was placed a month ago. I now wonder if it took over a month to receive so that we could not dispute the credit card charge. I ordered in good faith based on the item name (no description given) and photo of the product. The product received was not the product I wanted to order. I was told that the photos on the site do not necessarily represent the item listed (?!?) and that because it was a special order I could not return the product and there would be no refund. Seems like a bait and switch tactic to me. Very expensive and wrong product. I would not use them ever. Beware!

    ORDER F254030 AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! I placed and order for a 50 lb. bag of beans back in NOVEMBER ans received an email order confirmation saying it would arrive on around Jan. 6th 2011. Well that came and went so I sent an email checking the status of my order. Crickets chirping, no response. So the next day I CALLED, the rep halfheartedly apologized for the lack of notification that the beans would not be there (at their facility) until the END OF JANUARY (we're at 2 months now with no product) and that I was not notified. I asked for an updated email to inform me of the "new" expected delivery - received no email. That's when I found this site and realized I'm in the same boat as so many other people. WHY DIDN'T I FIND THIS SITE SOONER? I called just now to cancel my order completely and requested a refund. They said their refunds "go out on Mondays". I swear, holy hell will rain down if I have to visit them personally to get my refund. I live in Virginia. IF YOU'RE READING THIS FOODSERVICEDIRECT, GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

    Order F252559. I failed to read the reviews of this website before I ordered. I am having the same problems as everyone. After waiting past the deliver deadline, when I called, I was told my order was special and it would take 5-6 weeks. I ordered hot chocolate! I waited the 6 weeks and when I called they said that it was out of their hands and I needed to contact the coco maker directly. I did and they have never heard of Fodd Service Direct and had no record of my order. I returned the call to FSD and they are not picking up the telephone. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

    Order # F250316 Avoid this company. Ordered 3 items, received 1 correct item, 1 incorrect item, no 3rd item after 2 months. Contacted customer service when incorrect item was received. Juanita Wise promised to send return label for incorrect item. More than 1 month later, no return label. Called customer service and spoke to Juanita Wise who claimed she knew nothing about my order. Awaiting return label for incorrect item and refund for item not shipped. I tried to check my order status at their website....no such order information found. Avoid this company.

    Update on Previous Review

    Order number F267815. Since my review on May 7, 2011, my opinion has changed. The company contacted me and explained that they had been waiting to hear back from their supplier about the return (and unfortunately the customer service rep had not promptly let me know the status of my request for refund). In the end I am very happy with the customer service I received. The mugs were replaced to my satisfaction, at no additional expense (e.g. shipping or restocking).

    Correction, my beans were supposed to arrive on or around JAN. 4th, not the 6th. I called again and spoke to Rose Holloway. According to the BBB page, she is in a managerial position. I stated my concern for the troubling reviews I have found and my concern about not receiving my refund. I requested an email stating that my refund was being processed. She did send a personal email, but why should someone have to "request it"?? Shouldn't they just send one automatically as part of their refund policies? We will see if my refund is in fact refunded in a timely manner (if at all) and I will report back here for the follow up. Bottom line: This company SERIOUSLY lacks in satisfactory company protocols and communications, let alone product delivery. They are quick to take your money, but slow to deliver. I will not do business with them again and I would recommend others run the other way. You can find the same products elsewhere for comparable prices, and you'll actually RECEIVE THEM!!

    The audacity of this company to say they are in business is unmatches !

    Telephone messages are notanswered .

    Confirmation email was mever sent after order is placed.

    Credit card was charged before the order was complete.

    There is no Customer Service to be reached.

    There was no record of my order when I finally

    reached a human voice.

    WHY didn't I read these reviews before I ordered ?

    Shoppers RUN the other way before you think of

    doing business with this outfit.

    FoodServiceDirect is dishonest .

    I will NEVER order from this company again. I ordered one simple product on Dec 1, the money was taken out of my account Dec 3, it was supposed to be shipped Dec 6 and arrive Dec 10. On Dec 9 there was no tracking information to be found. When I called I received an answering machine, then Finally I got someone on the phone. She was completely worthless and rude. Come to find out, they hadn't even done anything with my order and instead of trying to fix the problem, she asked if I wanted to cancel it?! What?! I did of course, since they were morons, so now I am waiting on my refund from them. I am calling everyday until I get it. If not, it's on!!

    Order FXX7882 to Upper Darby, PA.

    I ordered one 50lb. case of Old Bay Seasoning, which was not classified as a special order by the site. When I received the email receipt after the payment was already made, the estimated delivery time was 2 weeks from the date of delivery. This unexpectedly long shipping time caused me to attempt to reach customer service to either get the order expedited or cancelled. The 800 number on the site was not working for a whole week. I emailed customer service and did not get a reply for 5 business days. When I received the email reply, the agent told me that they could not cancel the order because it had already been shipped and if I still wanted to cancel the order, there would be a 25% restocking fee. I chose to be patient. It wasn't until 2 business days later that I received a UPS tracking number. When I tracked the package, UPS had only received billing information, which means that the package was never actually shipped. Now my accounts payable account is off by one order because I had to purchase another case from another vendor while I wait for this one.

    BOTTOM LINE: With all the other resources available on the internet, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with this unprofessional, poorly managed, and deceitful company. Time is money and this compnay will only waste yours.

    Last 4 digits of order: 6949 shipped to Philadelphia, PA.

    I ordered two cases of Kombucha tea in the beginning of June. They did not have it since the tea is no longer being made by the company. They promised a refund a week ago and I have yet to receive it. I spoke with someone again (I have been on the phone with them about 6 times) today who said that the order was canceled but NOT refunded! They are now telling me that they will refund my money on Tuesday (almost a month has passed since my cc has been charged!), but after reading these reviews I am now concerned that this will be a long fight. I will file a chargeback with my cc company and take legal action if need be. I do not take kindly to companies stealing my hard earned money.

    Order No. F235007 shipped to Oshkosh, WI. Placed Order and never received e-mail confirmation. When the ship date came and went a phone call will get you an answering machine I never got a return call, needed to press 1 for sales to talk to somebody. After 2 weeks they refused to refund the money that they took. Called corporate and their admitted policy is to take your money, buy the product elsewhere, repack it when it arrives and ship it. Never an e-mail or call back. First and LAST order they'll get from me.

    Ordered on 4/6/2010, received half the order on 5/3 with a note saying the other item was out of stock. Spoke with a rep who said she would get back to me, but didn't. Called again today (5/7) to cancel order, but they claim it was shipped out this morning and just don't have any tracking information yet. Will not do business with them again.

    I differ with complaints below bc this company is very good got my order out in a timely manner and if i call "kelly" she gets the job done. If you have a problem just call her she is very easy to talk to and has a nice voice also makes your day when your having a bad one.

    I have been waiting for over a week beyond the expected ship date, and 10 days past the order date, for a shipment that has still yet to ship. No response to inquiries and no update. However, my credit card was charged right away. This is not the way things should be done. Don't go there. Order ends in 005.

    I have try several attempts to find out about a order I did on August 29, 2009. I have talked to the billing dept. requesting a refund since it obviously is not going to ship since it now October. They said they would get back with me and if the order has not shipped they will refund the money. No refund, no order and no call back. I am very busy and don't have the time but I will get some results through better buisness beareau, consumer report and yes if neccessary a attorney. It's the principal of good buiness practice to honor your costumers with results escpcially since they have their money. I am very disappoint in this company and will absolutley never order from them again and if ask about their service------

    Oh as for calling to speak with someone-no answer or machine. What's up? Did you fall off the face of the earth over one small order!

    Order was placed on 7/24 for the Poise style silverware (Walco), delivery was on 8/12 for me that was a long wait. Once I received the order, silverware was not to the greatest. The weight was a little light and the finish was terrible. Some of the utensils were scratched and looked as they were put in the garbage disposal. I guess I get what I paid for.

    Second what the first reviewer said, i.e. HORRIBLE; ordered soda, several cases, from them and they delivered two year old soda, almost flat, and had the nerve to tell me that the bottles were good from two years after the expiration date. When I told this to the manufacturer he just started laughing and said that the soda was two years old.When I called customer service no one would answer until I pushed the number for BUYING, a sure sign of rip off artists.

    I oreder with them for an event, and ensured enough time for shipping etc. the materials showed up 15 days after ordering, and it was a incomplete order. Phone calls to the customer service line were unanswered, and the one person i did talk to was outright rude and completely unable to issue the credit for the materials we did not receive. horrible.
