Ordered a $100 Nom de Plume costume

and $4-$5 stockings to go with.

At least 5 weeks prior to halloween is when I placed the order.

PLENTY OF TIME, EVEN IF ITEM WAS NOT IN STOCK AT TIME OF ORDER PLACEMENT.

A couple weeks passed, and received NOTHING.

SEnt an e-mail questioning my package.

Later, a very small package arrived containing only stockings!!

RIPPED OFF!! E-mailed in circles, got automated responses?, couldn't get a human on the phone. Worst internet shopping experience EVER!!!

NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK to this day.

HORRIBLE!

I purchased 2 Pleaser platform heels and a pair of pointy toe flats on 5/8/11. PLEASERS for $13 was a steal, so I bought 2 pairs! All were LAST PAIRS, so I understood the need to get my sizes right. I immediately received a confirmation email and receipt. I received my tracking number 2 days later from ElectriqueBoutique. Two days later I received the same tracking number via UPS. My package arrived on time on 5/13/11.

Right after I ordered these shoes, I came across these reviews and panicked alittle. But I had already ordered and all I could do was wait. I LOVE MY SHOES! They fit perfectly except for the flats. Should've gotten a 7 instead of 8, but I will find a way to make'em work. I'm very glad I made my purchase and will make a second order very soon.

I don't know why other people have had such a bad experience with this company, but I thought I should share my GOOD experience regardless.

I used them once a few months ago. I got three pairs of shoes that would normally be at least $40 a pair without shipping for $34; that includes shipping costs. They arrived about 2 or 3 days after the order was placed. I'd definitely use them again. I am quite surprised they've delivered such poor quality to so many.

Order ID: 2498341-898 DO NOT ORDER from this company. I ordered 4 pairs of shoes and all 4 arrived faulty and damaged. I have emailed the company a number of times now with photos of the shoes and within the return policy dates. I intially received a response and was advised they would phone me to dicuss - this was two months ago. Have since sent a number of emails but all go unanswered. I am now left with 4 pairs of shoes that cant even be worn and out of pocket over $100. I requested a store credit and even this they could not be provided. I will never order from this company again and would advise everyone else against ordering from them.

My order number was 39221042672 and I'm in Washington. Anyways, Tthis is a TERRIBLE company. I ordered a pair of shoes and 12 days after I got them, I realize they didn't fit. So I wrapped them up with EVERYTHING IN TACT, EXACTLY ACCORDING TO THEIR RETURN POLICY AND BEFORE THE DEADLINE and sent it back with the guarantee that it would arrive in less than two days. Which they did. The shoes cost over $40 dollars. Then I get a refund for $8.99. That wasn't even enough to cover the return shipping cost! I have emailed them about this and got an automatic reply that they would respond anywhere from 24-48 hours later. It's been three BUSINESS DAYS and they have yet to respond. Don't trust them.

I ordered a pair of shoes for my wife and paid extra for a 3 day shipping. I tried to call them, left them messages on the phone an emails- still no response. Their message says that they process thousands of orders everyday... if thats the case then they can afford to invest on call centers. I do not recommend this site to anyone. it is now the 27th and i have yet to hear anything from them. I should have researched this site before i placed my order. lesson learned.

I am FURIOUS at this point. I ordered my costume on the 3rd of October (beginning of the month) and still have NOT received ANYTHING. They billed my debit card right away and sent me a tracking number for UPS, but when I called UPS, they said they received billing information from them but never got a package, so therefore it cannot be shipped out. THIS COMPANY IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER. I would advise anyone and everyone to stay clear of them. I am contacting the BBB immediately, and I will be filing fraudulent charges on my card. These people need to get what they deserve

Electrique Boutique is a big f""" SCAM they rip me off of about 100$ and try to do some other tricks to take more money from me. I can see that some of comments here are probably post by them, so people please be aware of this fraudulence company and let others know about EB. I will complain and post my story with them on has many scamming site awareness has possible and I'm encouraging you to do the same!!! Hope that those douche bag get what they deserve!!! Jail time

I have used this company twice before and have been totally pleased. My first order, I got 3 days after I ordered it and that was with the regular ground shipping. The bikini I ordered was also great quality and cheaper on this website than any other. My second order I used a pre paid visa card and only put the exact purchase amount on it, I failed to realize I needed to add an extra dollar due to their on line credit card verification so my order was declined. The company could've very easily said "too bad", but they were so nice. I had already used a 10% coupon code so the customer service at electrique boutique was nice enough to give me a coupon code for 15 % off so my charge would go through with no problem. I thought they were wonderful and will definitely use them in the future!!

This company sucks. Do not order anything from them. 1- They never return phone calls 2- Still waiting for credit 5 weeks for a return I made. There are so meny other companys in this economy that would treat there customers better. If I recieved a phone call and refund I would have ordered something else. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM ELECTRIQUE BOUTIQUE. Your better off throwing your cash out of your car window,at least you have a better chance of getting it back.

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! If I would have read this many negitive reviews about this company I would have been more then happy to put my money towards somthing WEARABLE! I baiscly just paid 10.00 in shipping a "LAST PAIR" of black GO-GO boots section not "TRASH PAIR". I took them out of the box and they crumbled in my hand, i emailed them and they sent back a email stating due to the imperfections of this product they may be subject to a one time use only....... What? where was that EVER posted?! bottom line is they are just trying not to lose money becuase they buy cheap S*** so they sell it to us and post no refunds or emails you "they may be a one time use" WHO DOES THAT!!!!!

Stay far far away from this company unless you want to deal with horrible, almost non-existant, customer service. After placing an order two weeks ago I have still yet to receive a shipping notice. Upon calling the company I got a person who was quite curt, told me an item was holding up the order because it was coming in from the manufacturer, and when I pressed them for what it was and the delivery estimate they said they would get back with me in 24-48 hours. Well, that call never came and subsequent emails to the company were also never responded to. It is now highly unlikely that I will get my order when I need it so now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company (oh yeah, did I mention that they charged my card for the complete order before they even shipped anything out).

Bottom line, do not order anything from this company unless you like risking your money on a questionable company with horrible customer service.

Ordered a Mini Mouse costume for halloween for $15.99. Description said it did not include ears. When my costume came, it was titled "Holiday Pinup" which included a stupid santa hat. This costume was listed on the website on sale for $5.99. So that is how they work, make money on selling the same costume that can be "considered" mini mouse. what a rip off!! very upset, should have just ordered the Sexy Santa pinup for half price if i knew this was the costume i would receive.

I have placed 2 orders so far w/ this website. I was very happy with my first purchase, the quality of what I paid for and time of shipping (normal). My 2nd order, I had to receive in a specific timeframe, I paid extra for 3 day shipping, 1 week later, I'm still missing some pieces (were delivered later from another factory, yet I was never notified). I'm going on vacation on the date they have it scheduled for delivery, 1 week and 3 days later!!!! Now I have to go on vacation w/out one of the main items I was looking forward to wearing! DO NOT PAY EXTRA for shipping because IT OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T MATTER!

I recently ordered shoes for my wedding. I loved the selection and then was alarmed when I read the reviews. I cannot believe that anyone has had bad experiences. I ordered them and had a question that was quickly answered via email. I received 3 days later and love, love, love the shoes. They will be a wonderful accessory for my wedding day. I ordered a costume over the holiday weekend on July third,that means no post on the 4th or 5th. I got my package on the 8th. it was nicly packaged and looks great. Between a great product, competitive pricing, low shipping rates and fast service I will defiantly be using this site again.

I ordered a pair of boots from their clearance section. I placed my order on a weekend, and had not received a shipment confirmation 5 days later. I got a little worried after finding this site and reading some of the reviews, but I e-mailed them to ask for an update and received a prompt reply with tracking information. To my surprise my parcel was scheduled for delivery that same day. When I got them I was very impressed with the quality (especially considering they were only around $20 including shipping) and the fit is perfect. They are exactly as pictured and described and I could not be happier. It is a shame that others have some bad experiences with them, but I would order from them again, no problem.

I just recently placed an order online and I told my sister about them before I even checked out just because I couldn't believe they had such low prices on shoes. Within 2-3 days my order shipped and everything was there with the exception of one pair of shoes.I have really huge feet for a women (size 10-12)and was pleased to be able to find something cute in my size. My invoice said that they had sold out of that size and style that didn't ship and it said that it would be credited back to my account. One pair of shoes didn't fit but that's my fault not theirs...because I guess I misjudged my shoe size. I'm still not mad about it though because they were only $5.00 and to find a pair of shoes like those normally cost between 35-100. I am very satisfied with everything and would recommend them to anybody that wants to listen and shop there.

I purchased a Halloween costume from electriqueboutique.com. After I purchased it, they charged me the $60.19 it cost. They then sent me an email saying sorry, it was out of stock and I could purchase something else from them for up to $75.

I was already annoyed and thought it was inappropriate that they charged me AND THEN told me it was out of stock (it should have said out of stock on the website or shouldn't have allowed me to purchase something they didn't have).

So I called them and said I would look at the rest of their costumes, but asked if they would refund me if I decided there was nothing I liked. I also specifically asked if I would be refunded the difference in price if I decided I liked something cheaper than the original $60.19 costume they had already charged me for. They assured me I would be refunded in either of these situations.

I found something on their website I liked, and this costume was only $35. They shipped this costume to me, but NEVER reimbursed me the difference. I called them after Halloween saying they never reimbursed me, and they said sorry, they would fix it right away, and email me to confirm. They neither refunded me, nor emailed me anything. Since then, I have sent numerous emails and left phone messages (because they won't answer the phone all of a sudden) demanding I be reimbursed the difference. I have received absolutely NO response from them. As far as I'm concerned, this is a fraud.

RIP OFF.

I ordered a pair of 'bloomers' from them, seeing as I already had a pair of the same brand from a different seller, I knew what I should be getting. Instead they actually sent me a cheap, poor quality see-through material pair instead, and CUT THE TAGS OUT before mailing it, as if someone would be too stupid not to notice this. Refused refund. BAD BAD BUSINESS.

IM FURIOUS. i ordered a costume from electrique boutique a week ago, purchasing the 3 day shipping fee for 17$$ more... They said it takes about 1-3 days to make, then 3 days to send. it shouldve been here by today. and halloween is in 2 days!!! I called the lady and she said call me back if you want a refund. I called 8 times and they STILL havent picked up! They dont return calls or emails either... WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EVER. i dont think anyone should buy anything from this site... EVER.

I just ordered from EB for the first time on october 19th at night and I got my costume on october 23rd in the afternoon with ground shipping. I love it! I think EB is a great website with very reasonable prices compared to any other costume website.

I HAVE EVER BEEN SO FRUSTRATED WITH AN ONLINE COMPANY. I ORDERED MY COSTUME ON OCTOBER 3RD, AND ELECTRIC BOUTIQUE TOOK OUT THE MONEY FROM MY VISA 3 DAYS LATER. IT IS NOT THE 22ND AND I HAVE YET TO EVEN RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, LET ALONE MY COSTUME. I HAVE CALLED EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS, ONLY TO HEAR A RECORDING. I HAVE LEFT MESSAGES EVERY DAY, AND WRITTEN EMAILS EVERY DAY, AND HAVE YET TO HEAR ANYTHING. AS FAR AS I KNOW AT THIS POINT, ELECTRIC BOUTIQUE HAS STOLEN $60.00 FROM ME SINCE I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY OUTFIT. I ordered a costumes from them and when it came it had black dye splotches all over it. and when i sent them a complaint they said that it was final sale and that the description says it has stains on it. "The remaining sets have black faded from the stripes on the pink. Final sale no returns." they should have said its stained! i thought that the color was faded!

I ordered from them last year my costume came about a week later. It was too small but it wasn't their fault but I like them they have some of the most resonable prices compared to the other online stores similar to theirs. I am going to but from them again this year for halloween.

I ordered a pair of shoes to wear for my best friends wedding and they sent me the wrong shoes. Not only were they wrong but they were hideous. When I talked to them they said that they would take care of the matter but I just received an email saying that they credited me back for the returned shoes and don't do exchanges. Now I don't have the shoes and I haven't received back the money and I guess I will just have to ruin my friends wedding.

Hey guys, I actually just ordered from there and freaked out cuz i saw all ur coments, but i got mine on time??? I rodered the pink soccer costume and the three day thing last week and its already here and it all came together???? Maybe u all just ordered out of stock things...or ordered it toooo close to halloween. always order mailing items at least a month ahead of time. I was satisfied.

Well I read all these negative posts about this company but i decided I would give them a chance! I am GLAD I did. I got shoes and my halloween costume for $32.00 (including s&h)They were ontime with my order and even kept me up to date on when it will be arriving and then after it arrived they sent me another email to let me know its been delivered. They also sent me a piece of paper with a code on it for 10% off your order. THANK YOU ELECTRIQUE BOUTIQUE!!!

i love love love this store!!! i have been a customer for 6+ yrs and i rarely have problems. the only thing i dont like is their return policy. you basically cannot return anything and with their prices so high, this makes it difficult to order things on the internet because what if they dont fit or they look totally different online. i think they should atleast let you return shoes and clothes that arent intimates. i usually go to the store because of the return policy. i also think their prices are a little high on some items that arent even well made. other than those 2 things i love this store and i will continue to be a regular customer.

I like the one in arlington, i met this one girl a year ago and she worked at northwest highway and arlington. once my wife found out they wanted her back at arlington full time then thats when we drove all the way there just to see her. she is amazing at her job i don't know if shes just trying to get rid of everything or if shes honestly that great at her job. shes a beautiful young lady. my wife and i love her. i hope she doesnt quit because once she does then that store should just close down. shes the only one i see there that cares and does her job.

I was so excited when i came across EB, they had great prices and awesome stock. I ordered 2 pairs of boots, and some accessories. I waited past the time of delivery, and when the shipment did arrive i only recieved 1 pair of boots and the accessories. The boots i did recieve were awful, didnt look anything like the picture, completely fake and crappy looking, and i never recieved the 2nd pair of boots. I called to find out why, they stated they were out of stock and they would refund the money, never got the refund and stuck with crappy products that i cant return. Disgusted with this company. A good deal is only a good deal when you get the products you pay for.

This Company is a big joke, you order something, they take the money send half or less of the order if you are lucky and tell you that you will receive the money back for what was not available (I am waiting for it). Wish I had read the complaint before. got that on 2 different orders the same week. That's not just no luck, that's a scam.

nice shoes...LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The owner is a very mean, rude, condescending rat. I had a discount coupon that was emailed to me (I signed up for discounts), so I visited the site, made my order, and applied the coupon. My order showed the 15% discount, so continued with CC info...pressed submit, and the order went through....WITHOUT MY DISCOUNT!!!

I figured it was a glitch in the system, no biggie, just call them Monday when they open (I made my order online Sunday when they are closed), and the girl that answered the phone said they could not give me the discount because the order already went through. HUH??? I asked again, and she repeated the same answer....so I asked for a supervisor. After waiting almost 10 minutes for him to get on the phone, I told him what happened, and this RUDE rat told me, "the website works", like he didn't believe me!!! Here I am telling him that that the discount code did NOT work (on the screen it showed the discount applied, but after CC info, the transaction is finalized, and my receipt showed NO discount). He also told me that he was going to be "helpful" to me by giving me the discount just this one time, but not again in the future. I told him that by letting him know there was INDEED A PROBLEM with his shopping cart discount, that I was being "helpful" to him, and letting him know there was a problem from the customer's end. This miserable sack of s**t seemed bent on the fact that he was doing me some kind of favor by "allowing" me to have the discount, but sorry little girl, if it happens in the future, no can do.....

Electric Boutique has nice things on the site, but don't be tricked by what you see....if you have a problem with your order, this is the treatment you receive. I have ordered 2x from this company before, and I do remember that a refund I wanted took almost a month to go through. HOwever, this treatment regarding the discount took the cake, and clearly this owner will not help me if I have an issue with a future order, so there will be no future orders from me. A 3x time shopper is now a ZERO time shopper with Electric Boutique.

Wow i love this store and was concerned after reading the reviews. But i have done 2 orders of approx $200 each and the delivery has been very prompt (i live in Brisbane, australia so 5 days is awesome) i love the shoes. I have only coresponded via emails and they have been very helpful when they didnt have the shoes in stock anymore by allowing me to purchase shoes for the same price or more at no extra charge. GREAT STORE i recommend it.

Horrible customer service.

I ordered a few pairs of shoes in June. I returned some of them on June 21 via UPS and requested credit back (it was about 120 dollars). I never heard from them, no e-mail, no credit back - nothing!!!

So today (July 15) I called and talked to a customer service representative, she asked me for my order id number and then said that they haven't received my order back. So I told her that I will find the tracking number and check on UPS website and call her back.

I went online and found out that the order HAS BEEN received by them on the 25 of July, 4 days after I sent it. At that point I was pretty upset, so I called them back, talked to another customer service representative, who told me that they indeed received my order. She said it would take up to 21 days to issue the credit back. So I told her that somehow I don't believe I was going to get a credit for it tomorrow, as today it's been 20 days and considering they received my order 20 days ago, they sure had more than enough time.

I asked her if I could talk to their accounting department or someone who handles those kind of things. She said I couldn't!!!

And that there was nobody else I could talk to about it. So I asked her if she was the manager or the owner of the company, she said no, so I asked again to talk to someone else. She said that they would tell me the same thing that she said. I told her that something wasn't right that the person before her said they haven't received my order, but she said they did, I have no credit back on my credit card and there's no-one I could speak to about it.

I told her I was going to call the Better Business Bureau, because the way they do their business is unprofessional.

She then said something like "ok, call us tomorrow, and if you don't have the credit back by then, we will give you the credit tomorrow."

Does that make sense to you?!?

I'm sure if I hadn't called them, I could kiss my 120 dollars goodbye.

So I'm going to call back tomorrow and see what happens.

I swear I have no patience for this...

I like all the Dallas locations except the Electrique Boutique off of Greenville. The girls there are not very helpful and their always out of everything..I actually live in North Dallas (Frisco) and I'll drive all the way to Arlington bc its a BIGGER store and nicer girls that work there..

i bought a pair of gold jante platforms.. i payed $68 and wore them once the shoe broke in half while i was in a pub and a had to go home with no shoes on....

I live outside of the US and their shipping is VERY fast and affordable. They have a really great selection of all the items I want. Any negative issues listed below look like they have been resolved.

Electrique Boutique provides good service...ships what you ordered, timely. The prices is below reasonable and the advertised coupons really works. I ordered from Germany, military APO address several times and was completely satisfied, shoes was very unique and stylish. Loving Electrique Boutique

I have ordered from Electrique Boutique only the shoes-Mary Janes, Dress pumps & boots.I have ALWAYS been very satisfied. Customer reps are also helpful-Once had the Owner/managr call me and ask if he could assist me. The prices are THE BEST-too bad I don't live in Dallas Tx. I would buy more shoes all the time. AND they have discount coupons if you can find current ones.
