Wish I had seen this before I ordered

Order number 1086414 - Ordered a costume for my daughter for a school play. Paid extra for quicker shipping and it did come in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it wasn't the costume I ordered. I called Customer Service - had to call numerous times to get a live person - and felt like she thought I was lying about it. She said I could send it back and she would 'look at it.' Whatever...I know what I ordered and know what I got! Anyway, I returned it and 3 weeks later am still trying to get a refund. Talked to them last week (8/12) and they said it would be credited to my account by the end of the day and here it is 8/16 and still no credit. Can't get anybody on the phone and an email went unanswered too. I guess if you get what you ordered, all is OK...but if something is wrong, good luck!

They promote a "stress free" return and exchange policy, but it was nothing short of a nightmare! I received the pair of shoes I ordered for my halloween costume, but they were a size too big. I tried for a week & a half to contact them. They say their business hours are 9 am - 5 pm, but no one ever answers the phone. I left 2 voicemails and then turned to e-mails in hopes for a quicker response. I finally received a response the day before I needed the shoes explaining their stress free return policy when I'd made it clear that I wanted to exchange the shoes for a smaller size. I asked them to call me in response so that the process would be sped up in hopes I could have my shoes overnighted. They haven't answered since. I've now placed a second order on the shoes I need. I was obviously unable to use my groupon because its been recorded as used, so I'm paying more than I wanted to, and now twice since the first order hasn't been refunded. I also had to pay for overnight shipping in order to get the shoes on time because they don't answer. I will NEVER use this company again. I only hope they return my money & credit my new order for the coupon that I used on my first order.

Order#1051269, Biloxi, MS- DO NOT ORDER from Costumehub.com. I ordered child's costume 10/20/10, received 10/28/10. Realized it was the wrong size when child tried it on & it was huge.I ordered a child med.;I received a large, in a medium package. I sent email & called the 800 # numerous times the next day, finally got the voicemail you get if you call after hours. Left a message. Never heard back from email or voicemail. Called many times today, during their short hours & still only able to leave a message. No one ever answers the phone, or responds to emails. To make matters worse, the costume was cheap & see-thru, so even if it had fit my daughter, she would have had to wear clothes under it. AND I paid $6 more, plus $7 or $8 S&H, for the same costume she wanted locally at Party City, which was out of it. I still ended up in a mad rush around town for a last-minute Halloween costume, which is what I was trying to avoid by ordering. Using Costume Hub was a complete waste of time. I sent 2 more emails today. I'm waiting to hear from them, as their "money-back guarantee" only allows 14 days from date order is placed, which is quickly approaching. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY W/COSTUMEHUB. YOU ARE BETTER OFF MAKING A COSTUME THAN DEALING WITH THEM!!

Absolutely the worst. I paid $123 for a costume with a guaranteed delivery date that was never delivered (order #1056753). I can't reach anyone at the CostumeHUB.com or their parent company, as all phone systems seem to link to each other, rather than a real person. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, but am still out $123 and have no costume for a work Halloween party. NEVER USE THEM, unless your goal is to throw away money.

I ordered my daughter a costume on October 25, and was guarenteed shipment by the 29. (order # 1050645) I paid $16.95 EXTRA for shipping. The evening of the 29th, no costume, so I tried calling costume hub...of course, no answer. Had to find out from fed ex that it wouldn't be here until Monday. I call EVERYDAY, and get the same recording. Have left over a dozen messages, and sent several emails, with no response. My child needed her costume on the evening of the 29th, so when it finally did come, AFTER HALLOWEEN WAS OVER, I did not open it, but cant get ahold of anyone to ask if I just do "RETURN TO SENDER" or what!!! NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Order #WOB51593 I agree with all the comments made here. I ordered two costumes and while I received before the promised date I received the wrong costume. I immediately called and called, left messages, emailed and even tried their "live" webchat but could never reach anyone. This was all done started 10/25 but only just now received a response on 11/3. Still the response I just received was you didn't report the error within 72 hours -WHAT!!! THEY ARE KIDDING Right?? Apparently not. I will NEVER use them again. STAY AWAY unless you want the luck of the draw.

I'm in Eagan, MN, and am still attempting to resolve an issue with CostumeHub (order 1051054)but their customer service is enough reason to tell you to stay away from them! I used a Groupon discount to order from them and selected next day shipping and placed the order Oct. 21 before 4 pm, to guarantee that I received it next day. That never happened, and I kept trying to call them and email them but they don't work weekends so I was out of luck. Their website stated that my package had not been shipped yet so I panicked and tried to call them back Monday, Oct. 25 and left a voice message. They never returned my emails and never picked up the phone so I went and bought another costume. Sadly their package did arrive Monday although I found out the day after that. Still, it arrived late, and furthermore, one of the order items was missing. So now I have these items that I don't need and the website won't allow me to initiate a return. They finally contacted me today to only address their late shipping, saying their computer states I placed my order at 7 pm. I have the order confirmation to prove them wrong, but I'm worried it might not be enough and I will lose my money. As it is, I don't want a discount anymore, just to return the costume. Don't buy from this company!

I have to admit, I was terrified after I ordered my costume from this site, that it would not arrive in time or that it would be wrong. I did not read reviews on this site prior to ordering because I was in a rush. If I would have read comments first I may not have ordered from them. But it is here and even sooner than I expected!! Every costume I had wanted had been sold out on every site I checked, I finally found one here and ordered it asap, with overnight delivery. They guarantee their delivery dates which gave me some comfort. I did, however, try to contact them regarding my order as I hadn't received any notification that it had been shipped and my "order status" on their site still, even now, shows "to be shipped." I could not get a hold of anyone via phone or email which was very discouraging. But I did get my costume, right one, right size, everything included!! Super fast delivery and in time for Halloween!

This is the worst company ever! DO NOT USE THEM. They will charge your card and then never send you anything. You can try and get a hold of them, but they will not return your calls or your emails. I cannot say enough bad things about this company. What a waste. I'm in Seattle WA, partial order number 10522. I hope this does not get deleted because others need to be warned never to use this site

I was in DESPERATE need of an astronaut costume for my son's Neil Armstrong presentation for school. I spoke with three other companies about shipping overnight. They could not make it happen. I got in touch with Helen at Costume Hub and she was so amazing and helpful!! She listened to my dilemma and was very understanding. She even went and pulled the order herself to ensure it would be sent out that day and received in time. Helen, I don't know you, but I thank you! You are a great representation for your company! Thank you for being so great!
