False information

I was offered a 25 dollar coupon by Greg D in customer relations for giving a good review for Laura on the chat line. Greg responded saying thank you for posting this feedback and I will be glad to provide you with the 25 dollar gift card. Well after that he never responded with my gift card to place my order. I told him I was in desperate need to get my part and my car was not able to run until I received it. I explained that I was on disability and very low income. I've sent him email after email and he has not even giving me the courtesy of I've screwed you and or here's my help. This was on September the 14th and it's now Sept 26th. My order number was 19944851. Now how can I get an order number unless I placed an order. Changes are that this is probably a phony order number. This makes me so sick to my stomach to think that someone treats a person like that. After I give my review especially. I guess I need to do something about this instead wasting anymore of my time. I've spent more time sending emails than I have working on my car. Crap like this ruins it for reputable company's that really does deserve a good review. How can a company allow a person to act this way and still get away with it. Totally sicking my name is Dwayne Michnal from Fisk, Mo. 63940

    Beware of disclaimers on oversized items

    I purchased a grille guard for nearly $450. It arrived damaged, which was not apparent from the packaging.

    One wing had been bent inward, kinking the tubes and rendering the unit unserviceable. It cannot be installed. CarID has refused to accept a return or allow a refund.

    There is apparently a disclaimer on oversized items that does not take into account concealed damage.

    Customer service was not helpful at all.

    I now have $450 worth of useless scrap iron.

    Wrong Tires for Wheels

    This company is the worst, purchased some Lexani custom painted wheels which CarID match the WRONG tires for the wheels causing rocks and debris to hit the outter edge of the wheel and cause scratches and dents in the wheels. The problem is that the wheel outer lip sticks out further then the tire therefore the wheel has no protection. Called them and ask what they can do for me and the sales rep said "You can send them back for repair at your cost". What the hell, why is this my fault, it's clear that these tires are the wrong type for these wheels. Sales rep said because I drove on them that the damage was my fault. I responded saying "If I didn't drive on them no one would of known if they were prone to road debris issues. Anyway don't do business with these crooks..

    HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & EXPIERIENCE

    My package was claimed as delivered yet was missing. Car Id said they will need 3 business days to contact the courier and after they will sent out a replacement. ( This was finally said after talking to few representatives ) Days pass and pass and no news yet from UPS or any update on Car Id's side. Now they are telling me the part is out of stock yet I can add it to my cart and order it again - but why would I want to try that risk again? Waiting for a refund if I will ever get it - customer service shows no sympathy or even acknowledges for being a loyal customer. They can't even provide a refund confirmation number - email - incident or anything for proof! Never ordering from them again! ORDER NUMBER ****6334 Customer service gives misleading information every single time and doesn't let you finish talking as well as overtalk you.

    Do Not Buy From Carid,

    I placed a $2100 order for some wheels and tires that were supposedly in "stock".... I placed the order on January 17 and said ship date was february 2, which I was not very happy considering they were in "stock". Then feb. 2 comes and they post next ship date of feb 6. So today feb 5 I receive an email saying that the next ship date will be feb 17. So will I expect another delay on feb 17? Probably so! I should have read the reviews before I placed my order because evidently I'm not the only one that has had this issue. I called to cancel my order the other day and was told I couldn't because they had a no return policy on wheels.... I will NEVER buy from Carid again and would highly advise anyone to order somewhere else. They are useless to talk with on the phone in regards to getting good help. Order number 11329001

    defective halo projector headlights

    I am writing a review in regards to the halo projector headlights I had ordered November 18, 2011. I spent countless times and spending so much money in working to have those lights to work. My first issue started when I received my lights last year. I reside in American Samoa and I had the lights send over to my uncle's address in San Bruno. He then had to send it through the freight forwarder which cost me about $150 to shipped out in American Samoa. After receiving the lights, I had to wait another 3 months because I wasn't available to have it installed. When that time came, my uncle had it hooked up and sadly, the driver side wasn't working properly. It was defective. I contact Julia Lebed about the situation and was able to get a replacement. But I had to send the lights back which cost me another 100 bucks for shipping. They couldn't send me my replacement overseas so I had to pay extra 100 bucks. I was so sure this replacement will not give me a problem. I set it aside because I couldn't install it right away, assuming the lights are okay. When it was time for me to install it, I was disappointed and frustrated that I have the same problem as the first lights I got before. The same side (driver side), the light was defective again. I don't know why carid.com did not tested the lights first before sending it to their customer. I was upset when they said I couldn't send it back because it had passed the return policy. They should have accepted given the situation I had go through. They gave me a solution about changing the ballast, I went through another frustration, trying it out what Julia told me about changing the ballast. And to a conclusion, it wasn't the ballast after all, it was the light. It was defective. This company did not do much for customer service and their products are defective. I spent over 2,000 on accessories from their site and they don't have the courtesy to help me out with these defective lights they send to me twice. I know for a fact, I will never shop online with them again because they rip me off with these defective lights. Thank you! If you guys need proof with the lights, I can send it through emails or posted on anything to show what I had to deal with these lights. I also I have emails showing my frustration about the defective lights.

    BAIT & SCAM COMPANY. STAY AWAY!!!!!

    Order number 3418558 They sent the wrong product & I am in contact w/ a lawyer to prove they do it on purpose & told me I need to send photographs of what they sent before they will issue a return. I sent everything back, emailed pictures & have not heard from them in a month. I will contact my bank today to dispute the charge, will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & will speak w/ my lawyer to determine how we proceed with a class action law suit.

    upgraded my truck well

    I ordered Step Bars which look just great on my truck. I actually like the fact there's a big choice of cool aftermarket parts on this site. As for my last order, the installation of step bars required drilling which I didn't expect. Otherwise, great job from the company's side. order number 2706378

    well spent money

    I like this store and will shop there again. I can say they treated me well. The only thing that didn't go quite smooth is a delay in delivery of my grille, but it was on manufacturer's end and carid informed me about the delay. order number 2705724

    HELLO . I RECEIVED A COLD AIR INTAKE AS A GIFT DURING CHRISTMAS . THE MANUFACTURER [ SECRETE WEAPON ] PART NUMBER #WR-601-133-101 . SELLS A PRODUCT THAT IS POORLY ENGINEERED . THE BOX I RECEIVED HAD THE CORRECT PART NUMBERS ON IT FOR MY VEHICLE . HOWEVER THE RUBBER ELBOW BOOT THAT IS SUPPOSED TO SLIP OVER THE THROTTLEBODY INTAKE HORN IS THE SAME SIZE IF NOT SMALLER THAN NEED BE . AFTER LUBING THE RUBBER HOSE WITH DISH SOAP AND TRYING TO FORCE IT INTO PLACE THE HOSE SPLITS . . ALSO KIT DID NOT COME WITH ALL THE NECESSARY SCREWS TO MOUNT MAS AIRFLOW SENSOR TO THE INTAKE PIPE . . AND After finding screws that would fit . i found that the mass airflow sensor would not sit in the opening provided for its installation completely there for making all attempts to install this a complete waste of time. So I call CARid for refund information only to be denied after waiting on hold for close to an hour. They wont refund because, [ get this ] I tried to install the part on my vehicle . and they couldn't do anything without talking to manufacturer . . don't waste your time dealing with [ CARiD ] OR PURCHASING ANY THING FROM [ SECRETE WEAPON PERFORMANCE PARTS ] CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED ! ! ! THANKS FOR NOTHING ELISHA MORRISON .

    I give this company a -0. Carid has taken my money & has not shipped me all of my products that I have paid for. I have called everyday just to be given the run around. I WANT A REFUND! The costumer service sucks! I will never buy from this company again. Polite & friendly just to get your money but trying getting your product(s) or money back from these wild animals!

    I wouldn't even give this company a one. It is taking me three months now to get a refund on a product I sent back and every sales rep that I have talked to has given me a different story as to how the product is damaged. I taked to 7 sales reps and 2 supervisiors and 1 branch manager to get my refund. And they will not give me the district managers name or number. I wouldn't do buisness with carid if it were the last. The WORST ever!!

    Ordered headlights and was told 24 hrs to ship. Took 2 weeks and the shipment was incomplete. Every phone call to their customer service has resulted in 1+hr wait each. Still don't have correct order. Possibly the worst company I have ever had to deal with
