Just got the highly-acclaimed Corsair VX450 450 watt power supply I bought from Buy.com (saved 10 bux via Google Checkout). I had a lamo Coolmax V-500 500W power supply that started rebooting my Q6600 desktop at random, especially if I had a USB device plugged in. Not only did the Corsair 450VX fix the problem, according to the Kill-a-watt power meter it's using like 20 watts less of energy. Before on regular load the desktop would suck up 182 watts, now it's down to like 163 watts. Wow- talk about more efficient. Anyways it was a good deal through Buy.com- too bad I was too late for the $15 rebate on the PSU. But I'm really happy with the purchase.

A couple weeks ago I ordered the Asus EEE PC (regular version, not Surf) from Buy.com for like $350 after Google Checkout discount which was a really good deal. It's great little machine, I'm loving it. I notice that they have a Windows XP version now for like $410. I'm pretty happy with the Linux version though cuz it's easy to use and boots up oh so fast. I don't miss Windows apps on it because the existing programs on there do the job. I was surprised to see that it even came with a VNC client called krnc which you have to run from the terminal.
Also I just bought from Buy.com a pair of Smart Strip LCG3 energy saving surge protectors for only like $32 each with free shipping. You have to search for the keyword "LCG3" to find it.

A good way to find good deals at Buy.com is to look at their What's Shaking section. And remember that you can get $10 of $10 if you're a new Google checkout customer. And also check your email inbox for coupons- for instance recently I got a $20 off $80 coupon and now I just got a $20 off $60 (must use GoogleCheckout). Their shipping is a little slow but with the coupons the prices could be pretty good.

I enjoy shopping at Buy.com, they have pretty good deals overall. One thing I don't like is the high shipping charges on items that don't qualify for free shipping no matter the price. Their deal of the day is a good place to snag a good discount, and same goes with their What's Shakin' section. They should really broaden their product line like Amazon.com.
