This is a horrible company and they are liars. I would not ever order a book from them. They would not honor a coupon that had no limitations on it.
Then, their subsidiary cancelled my order even though I ordered it through bookbyte who should have taken responsibility and should have made things right.
The bookbyte employee later said that the book was on its way with a discount but then the other employees denied that and would not make it right even after several emails. They lied and lied. It was a textbook and meanwhile Much time was lost in the course I paid for.

I will FILE A CONSUMER COMPLAINT against Bookbyte.com! I sent them my books over six weeks ago and until today have NEVER RECEIVED A CHECK. When I called them they told me they sent the check and I SHOULD WAIT A MONTH to receive it! I live in California, the check supposedly was sent from Oregan...that never takes longer than two weeks at the most! When I insisted to speak to a supervisor I was told no one was available to speak to me and was promised a call-back. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK!

my first experience to sell several books $106.89 worth was put in a sealed sturdy box that other books had been shipped. now, i got photos of an empty box from bookbyte telling me they refused to pay me for the books i shipped to them. they also told me the box arrived empty. my question is why did they pay postage for an empty box? that is baffling to me why they paid postage for the empty box. the lesson i learned is not to sell books to bookbyte using their postage paid label because you have no insurance and no way to collect your money if they say 'empty box' even though they paid postage for the box. our post office told us they received the box with books.
