cashier / Manager not friendly, or helpful;(

Our family recently shopped at the Ceder City, Utah. There store is about 20 minutes from our home. Cashier and manager were rude, and gave no customer service. I had a 20% coupon and they would not let me use it on my purchase. My BigLots coupon was valid, and not expired. We read the fine print!!! To make matters worse the rude cashier made us wait an extra 15 minutes for the rude Manager to even look at the coupon. They gave us no explanation. Next time I will be sure to tell my family and friends to shop at Walmart!

    pissed off !

    I had went to big lots in Bellevue Ky and this is the first time in a long time I have been to big lots , well I had asked a man working there where an item was and he directed me all the way across the store to tell me their whereabouts ... so I go over unable to find what I was looking for I went up to the cashier and asked her , " rudely she replied " back by misc items .. I'm looking around and she said back by the comforters ... I asked her if they normally carry this certain item and once again rudely she replied NORMALLY !! ... ummm ok so I go look still couldn't find it so I gave up I went up to pay for my one item I had and she said was it a negative ?? I replied I don't know I gave up looking ... no thanks to anyone in this store's help !! Never again will I go there all thanks to the rude people working !!

    Cashiers NOT FRIENDLY

    My friend and I went to the Mountain Home, AR Big Lots Grand Opening. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service there. When we went to cash out I took a rug out of the cart, and it hit a sign hanging to low from the ceiling and came down almost hit us. That sign should have NEVER been put by a cashier where customers line up. Luckily for Big Lots we did not get hurt. The cashier was NOT friendly and was complaining about her job the lady in charge of her. She had NO change in her drawer to give back to us. She tried and tried to get somebody to give her some change, and the lady in charge just ignored her. I went over to the lady in charge and told her the cashier needs some change in her drawer to give to us, and she replied she was to BUSY!!! NOT FRIENDLY CASHIERS, AND NOT FRIENDLY LADY IN CHARGE OF THE CASHIERS. My friend and I said we probably will NOT go back

    my experience at big lots today was so so so bad that i do not think i will be coming back this is not the fist time this has happen to me. but today i walked into biglot and got a wireless desktop and came home. open it and it did not have a mouse.so i went back to big lot walked in the cashier asked me what was wrong and i told her. she called for the MG and told him he looked at me like what you want me to do and told me it was in the box and i told no it was not.so he asked her!!!!!WELL WHAT DO HE WANT and she looked at me and she told and he to ME..JUST GO GET WHAT YOU WANT AND WALKED OFF AND DID NOT COME BACK AND SAY SORRY ARE ANYTHING they did not have the same one that i had got had to pay dif of 10.00 and he did not go to the back and look so i asked myself do this man like black people

    I enjoy shopping at Big Lots especially when they have the 20% off coupon. I try to go for the all-natural and organic stuff because they usually cost much more elsewhere. I do have a warning, however, about buying plants from Big Lots. I've personally never had any luck with the roses and plant root/bulbs (says made in Holland) I've bought from them. I've must have wasted at least $40 buying these junk plants from them that never grow. My overall rating for Big Lots is 4 out of 5.

    Why no Food Stamps for groceries

    I usually have a god experience with Big Lots. This time I was returning a product that was not exactly what I needed. The cashier was very nice and professional; no trouble with the return. I have shopped Big Lots for years in different States, and none of them accept food stamps for grocery items. Why NOT? This causes me to make another stop for the foods that you carry but can't buy at your store. Sure wish you would change this policy- And I know I am not the only one that would spend more if you took food stamps.

    Happy customer Review

    I have shopped Big lots for many many years, from west to east coast. I can say never had a bad experience ,I get Items I couldn't find else where, since big lots sell products from international sources, The store I shop now is #00003 Peach Orchard In Augusta GA. 30906 the staff there Yvette,M /Wayne/ Apriland many others who I can say are very professional, courteous Even reminds me of my reward card. Help me find items I can't carry out items when I can't manage.

    PS: treat them well.

    Cashier

    You need to get rid of the cashier @thestore @ 6201 Preston HWY in Louisville, Ky 40219. The black lady w/ the dreadlocks was extremely rude. I just walked up to the counter to check out and she started in on me. I'm not being a racist because I'm black myself, but it was unbelievable how she treated me. People was looking at her, it was humiliating.

  • Even after gave the Cashier the information for my purchase w/the discount- she got worse to a point where I thought she was going to hit me. Now that would have been a BIG LAW SUIT.

    Good customer service

    I recently went to shop at store 01835 here in Austin tx. I have to say It was the nicest and cleanest big lots i have ever gone to . The employees are very friendly and very helpful. I even saw the managers help out on the registers which was helpful because it was a busy day. I have to say i have found a store that i can enjoy shopping at.

    customer service

    I purchased a fireplace/tv stand from store #1121,Karin your sales person was very helpful and friendly. When we got to my car the item was too big, she was very creative and helpful in getting it to fit. She was very happy and friendly with a constant smile on her face. You need more people like her in your stores.

    Love store 00835. Their management is wonderful. Since I have been in there they changed the front layout where they keep Christmas outside decor. Its more accessible and spacious than it used to be. The store was clean. The furniture area was spacious. The manager (Ron) told me about the rewards program. Really appreciated it. The cashier Gregg was polite as well. Keep up the great work!

    disappointed customer

    unhappy w/store 00843 in Spartanburg Sc every time i go in to pay on my furniture account there's never anyone in that department& there is only the assistant manager on register & i'm told i have to wait till all customers are checked out before he will accept my payment. looks like to me this store needs help & there's no sign asking for it. i it's like this just to make payment there's no telling what we will be told when we pay it off .

    Termites galore!

    My boyfriend and I were in the Bedford,Tx Big Lots and upon us going back to check out the clearence section which in this store is in the VERY back corner where the receiving door is, we both noticed "bugs" flying around. The closer we got to the back corner the worse they got...to our horrible dismay we looked up and say literally THOUSANDS of termites all over the wood and doorway of the receiving dock/door! Nasty! We told 2 people who worked there which none of them seemed to take much interest in what we had to say, I guess thats not including in their pay to check those important things out! Health Dept here we come!

    Rude cashier? Customer service ( Va Bch, Va)

    Cashier was very unprofessional, a coworker wasn't on a register, and told the cashier the line was getting long, and cashier replied ,"they can wait" and they started laughing, the customer before me had a basket,when cashier finish ringing him up she threw the basket on the floor, so i unloaded my basket, and started to put it where she threw the first basket she told me to go put it back by the door, i didn't feel it was my job to walk back next to the door to put the basket, she looked like customers were bothering her, wasn't a very friendly, pleasant person , she looked like she hated her job! couldn't even take the time to say hello, have a good day , not even a thank you

    favorite store

    Big lots is my favorite store I never know what I can find there.The people are friendly and helpful ,my favorite person is the cashier patti why I like her is because she is friendly,helpful,funny.She helps me find items and actually listens to me when I have a question she is a sweet girl.How i would rate the store it would be a 4.

    my experience at the store big lots in auburn has been wonderful.I love shopping there weekly I get alot of bargains.what i like most about big lots is this young lady name patti,she is so friendly and helpful and always has a smile on her face.She goes out of her way to help me and others and still smiles.

    The Henderson Big Lots Sucks

    I was currently in the Henderson Big Lots to pick up my order which took 3 weeks to get here I had picked up 1 part the week before but the cashier kept my receipt.So when I came back the manager Robert gave me a hard time when a cashier stepped in he got angry when she could look me up on the computer she asked him if he could assist with getting my purchase he said NO and walked away replying call someone else I will never go back there even if the cashier was nice the manager seemed a bit racist
