ArcSoft PhotoImpression Gold software helps me stay organized. I can view the files by date or when they were first copied onto my computer. The interface is easy to understand and laid out in an intuitive manner. There is a built-In easy fix wizard that makes photo enhancement seem effortless. I tried the software for free and ended up buying it.

A good alternative for final cut pro is the Arcsoft showbiz dvd. I couldn't afford final cut pro when I was taking a film making class and researched a cheaper alternative. Its easy to be able to cut the video that I shot into several movie clips. Editing and adding audio is also a breeze. They have simple transition effects and cool text effects.

ArcSoft PhotoStudio is a good digital imaging software for beginner users like myself. I can quickly remove red-eyed images and jazzed up the portraits using the special effects filters. I really like the remove holes brush where it blends in poorly composite images together. One con is this software only works on the pcs.

For customized greeting cards I tend to use ArcSoft Print Creations. I can import family photos and choose themes to design beautiful greeting cards to send out for my friends and family. Although the functions are limited its a fun software to use out of the comfort of my own home. I can print the cards on my epson inkjet for fast greeting cards to be quickly sent out.

I don't know a lot of about photo editing, but from time to time I like to be able to do basic manipulation for some of the digital shots that I would take. Enter ArcSoft photostudio 2000. For one thing it cost about a fraction of photoshop. Its user interface is easy to use to perform sophisticated image manipulations. Its a great software for novices like myself.
