Tips: Windows-world
Have you ever run into a situation where you're not sure which Service Pack is installed on a Windows NT 4 machine? Just click on Start, Run, type "winver" and it'll let you know. Sure beats having to restart the server and look for that info on the blue screen (for NT 4). In Windows 2000 you can also right-click on My Computer, select Properties to get to the System Properties menu and it'll say what service pack there.
